Salman Khan opens up on female fan's intrusion at Galaxy Apartments in May: ‘The servant was shocked because the lady said…'
The much-awaited The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 began with superstar Salman Khan gracing the first episode. Salman, who is known for his honesty and wit, brought laughter to the set as he joined Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek for a fun-filled episode. During the show, Salman opened up about a recent incident in which a woman tried to sneak into his home at Galaxy Apartments. The topic came up when Kapil jokingly asked him about fans showing up at his residence with suitcases. Salman confirmed that something like that had indeed happened recently. 'Yes, something like that recently happened. There were security guards outside. A woman told them she wanted to head up to the fourth floor, and she entered. She rang the doorbell, and our servant opened the door. The servant was shocked because the lady said, 'Salman called me over.' Obviously, the servant saw her and was sure I definitely didn't call her. She was a fan, so she was escorted out,' said the Sikandar actor. The intrusion took place in May earlier this year, when a woman attempted to breach the security of Galaxy Apartments but was intercepted. The incident followed closely on the heels of a similar security breach earlier that week. On May 20, a man was apprehended after he was found attempting to enter Galaxy Apartments stealthily. According to police officials, a preliminary investigation revealed that the man hailed from Chhattisgarh. In January, security at Salman Khan's residence was enhanced with bulletproof glass protecting his balcony and a high-tech CCTV camera system keeping a watch on the road outside. The bulletproof glass panel ensures the actor's safety when he steps onto the balcony of his flat to greet his fans. The security upgrade, being carried out by a private contractor hired by Salman, comes months after two men on a motorbike, allegedly belonging to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, opened fire outside the building in April 2024. A high-tech CCTV camera was also installed in front of the building to detect any suspicious movement and razor wire fencing was put around it. The actor has received threats from the Bishnoi gang in the past. In June 2024, Navi Mumbai Police had claimed to have discovered a plot to kill the actor when he travelled to his farmhouse at Panvel near Mumbai. Salman already enjoys 24-hour police protection. The film also starred Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, and Kishore. Despite big names, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, failed at the box office.

IND vs ENG: 'No one expected him to do that' - Who said what about Rishabh Pant's somersault celebration?
Rishabh Pant's celebration after ton against England (AP Photo/Scott Heppell) NEW DELHI: Rishabh Pant has never been one to stick to the script, and he proved that once again at Headingley with a celebration as electrifying as his innings. After notching up his seventh Test century in classic Pant style, charging down the track and launching Shoaib Bashir over deep midwicket for a towering six, the India vice-captain stunned fans and teammates alike with a surprise somersault celebration. The move, equal parts flamboyant and athletic, quickly set social media ablaze and became the highlight of Day 2 of the first Test between India and England. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! While Pant's acrobatics wowed viewers, they also drew amused and admiring reactions from former cricketers and teammates. Dinesh Karthik , speaking on the broadcast, quipped, "Neither could I do the somersault like him, nor can I bat like him. When I was very young, my parents made me try gymnastics, and I was an utter failure. So let's just leave it there because he's doing it so much nicer when he celebrates it." Former head coach Ravi Shastri also praised Pant's unexpected flair: 'At a very young age, he did a lot of gymnastics. He does it really well. I think it was unique. No one expected him to do that. Nothing wrong with it — though if I tried it, I'd probably end up in a swimming pool!' Cheteshwar Pujara , typically reserved, summed it up simply: 'Rishabh being Rishabh. He does something unique.' Yashasvi Jaiswal credits Shubman Gill after maiden Test ton in England: 'I love it' Pant's celebration mirrored one he had pulled off during the IPL earlier this year, but seeing it on the Test stage added a new level of surprise. His innings — a blistering 102 off 146 balls with 10 boundaries and four sixes — came at a crucial time, forging a 209-run partnership with Shubman Gill (147) to push India beyond the 400-run mark. As fans marveled at the shot-making, it was the flip that stole the spotlight — a moment that perfectly encapsulated Pant's spirit: fearless, fun, and fiercely unforgettable.
