Cognizant will offer solutions across key growth areas, including enterprise AI agents, tailored industry large language models and infrastructure with NVIDIA AI.
TEANECK, N.J. , March 25, 2025 /CNW/ -- Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced advancements built on NVIDIA AI aimed at accelerating the cross-industry adoption of AI technology in five key areas: enterprise AI agents, industry-specific large language models (LLMs), digital twins for smart manufacturing, foundational infrastructure for AI, and the capabilities of Cognizant's Neuro ® AI platform to integrate NVIDIA AI technology and orchestrate across the enterprise technology stack.
Cognizant is working with global clients to help them scale AI value efficiently, leveraging extensive industry experience and a comprehensive AI ecosystem comprising infrastructure, data, models, and agent development powered by proprietary platforms and accelerators. NVIDIA AI plays a key role in Cognizant's AI offerings, with active client engagements underway across industries to enable growth and business transformation.

At NVIDIA GTC 2025, Cognizant presented its intent to deliver offering updates across the following five areas:
Enterprise AI agentification powered by Cognizant ® Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator: Running on NVIDIA NIM ™ microservices, this framework will enable clients to rapidly build and scale multi-agent AI systems for adaptive operations, real-time decision-making and personalized customer experiences. With these frameworks clients can create and orchestrate agents using a low-code framework or use pre-built agent networks for various enterprise functions and industry-specific processes such as sales, marketing, and supply chain management. The frameworks also allow clients to easily integrate third-party agent networks and most LLMs.
Building multi agents for scale: Cognizant works to enhance business operations through the use of multi-agent systems and integration with NVIDIA NIM, NVIDIA Blueprints, and NVIDIA Riva speech AI. The company will be developing a future-proof agent architecture that supports modular and adaptable agent design to meet evolving needs and the long-term viability and adaptability of AI solutions. This includes pre-built integrations with security guardrails and human oversight. This approach aims to enable enterprises to develop and deploy market-ready applications tailored to their specific needs using the pre-built agent catalog. Examples include industry agents such as insurance claims underwriting multi-agent systems, appeals and grievances multi-agent systems, automated supply chain multi-agent systems and contract management multi-agent systems.
Industry LLMs: Cognizant is developing industry-oriented LLMs powered by NVIDIA NeMo and NVIDIA NIM. These solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of different industries and build on Cognizant's deep industry expertise to drive innovation and improve business outcomes. For example, Cognizant has developed a fine-tuned language model to transform healthcare administrative processes. This system will leverage Cognizant's domain expertise and NVIDIA technology to enhance medical code extraction and support higher accuracy, reduced errors, and better compliance with HIPAA and GDPR standards. It is designed to help clients cut costs, decrease latency, improve revenue cycle management and help ensure accurate risk adjustment. In internal Cognizant benchmarking, the model has demonstrated effectiveness in reducing effort by 30-75 percent, boosting coding accuracy by 30-40 percent, and accelerating time to market by 40-45 percent.
Industrial digital twins: Cognizant's smart manufacturing and digital twin offerings, accelerated by NVIDIA Omniverse ™, will aim to drive digital transformation by combining NVIDIA Omniverse's synthetic data generation, accelerated computing, and physical AI simulation technologies to address challenges in manufacturing operations and supply chain management. These capabilities will be designed to assist clients in enhancing plant layout and process simulations with real-time insights and predictive analytics, while also supporting improved operational efficiency and optimized plant capital expenditure. This offering enables integration of diverse data from applications, systems and sensors with synthetic data, allowing clients to simulate various scenarios and find solutions to issues in the plant. Additionally, by building the necessary digital infrastructure, including IT systems and skilled personnel, Cognizant's offerings can be used to create and manage digital twins for large-scale systems, such as factories, smart grids, warehouses, or entire cities, with precision and efficiency.
Infrastructure for AI: Implementing AI effectively requires robust AI infrastructure and data prepared for AI. Cognizant's infrastructure for AI, accelerated by NVIDIA, will provide clients access to NVIDIA AI technology via "GPU as a Service", along with secure and managed infrastructure. This helps ensure that AI models can be run in various environments, including the cloud, data centers or at the edge. Additionally, Cognizant intends to use NVIDIA RAPIDS ™ Accelerator for Apache Spark to help clients accelerate data pipelines for AI implementations, facilitating efficient and scalable operations. In one example implementation for a large healthcare client in the U.S., use of Cognizant's infrastructure for AI resulted in a 2.7x cost efficiency improvement and a 1.8x enhancement in the performance of their Spark workloads.

Better Cybersecurity Stock: CrowdStrike or SentinelOne?

Artificial intelligence (AI) may have many benefits, but it's also making it easier for hackers, online criminals, and other digital malefactors to threaten businesses, and those threats are getting more potent. Keeping them at bay requires a lot of funds to be devoted to cybersecurity, making companies like CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and SentinelOne (NYSE: S) excellent investment opportunities. But is there an advantage to buying one over the other now? How do these two approach cybersecurity? Both companies' base products are AI-powered protection platforms that analyze digital activity and learn to spot the threats among the normal activity. They deploy their software to network endpoints -- in other words, laptops, smartphones, and other devices that can access a client's internal network. By protecting these devices, companies make it harder for cyberattackers to gain access to their internal networks, where they might steal sensitive information, delete files, interfere with systems, or even lock them down with ransomware to extort payments from their victims. While endpoint protection is how both companies land clients, each bolsters its offerings with an array of other cybersecurity products that clients can use to create a protection suite tailored to their unique situations. Since these two direct competitors offer highly similar product types, it's hard to declare either a winner on this front from an investor perspective. Winner: Tie. CrowdStrike is much larger than SentinelOne From a sheer size perspective, CrowdStrike is the clear winner. During its fiscal 2026 first quarter, which ended April 30, CrowdStrike's annual recurring revenue (ARR) rose to $4.4 billion. SentinelOne's ARR of $948 million in its fiscal Q1 was less than a quarter of that. While size doesn't always matter, in this case, it does. Because so many more companies use CrowdStrike's platform, it's more likely that any given IT professional will have at least one contact already on its client list. If CrowdStrike is doing a great job with those clients, word will spread, and it will likely receive more serious consideration in future cybersecurity bidding processes. This advantage cannot be understated. Indeed, it's one of the reasons why CrowdStrike's growth has remained strong despite its size. Winner: CrowdStrike SentinelOne is growing more quickly than CrowdStrike, but just barely In terms of growth rates, SentinelOne is slightly outperforming CrowdStrike in this category. However, this should be no surprise because SentinelOne is a much smaller company. In fiscal Q1, SentinelOne's ARR rose 24% year over year, while CrowdStrike's increased 22% year over year. While I will give the point to SentinelOne, it's important to understand that CrowdStrike is growing from a much larger base than SentinelOne, making this close call all the more impressive for CrowdStrike. Winner: SentinelOne Neither company is massively profitable Due to its smaller size and focus on top-line growth, SentinelOne is far from profitable, while CrowdStrike has achieved intermittent profitability (although it reverted to a negative operating margin and a loss in its most recent quarter). S Operating Margin (Quarterly) data by YCharts. SentinelOne is far from breaking even, but CrowdStrike was in this same position about five years ago. There's no reason not to expect SentinelOne to follow a similar path to profitability, but it will take some time. Meanwhile, CrowdStrike should eventually turn a profit again, as it has proven that it can do that. Winner: CrowdStrike SentinelOne looks like a bargain CrowdStrike is leading this battle of the stocks so far, but SentinelOne is about to change the narrative with one jaw-dropping metric. CrowdStrike is the most popular cybersecurity stock in the market, and as a result, it has been bid up to expensive levels. From a price-to-sales (P/S) standpoint (the best metric to use to compare these companies since CrowdStrike flips between profitable and unprofitable, while SentinelOne is years away from profits), CrowdStrike has gotten far more expensive than SentinelOne over the past few years. CrowdStrike stock is now five times more expensive than SentinelOne, which is hard to believe, considering they compete in the same industry and are growing at nearly identical rates. This leads me to believe that CrowdStrike's stock has been overly hyped up while SentinelOne has been forgotten. While I'm OK with valuing CrowdStrike at a premium due to its market leadership position, this is far too great a premium to pay. SentinelOne is a dirt-cheap stock, and CrowdStrike is almost too expensive to consider. While I have been a long-term CrowdStrike bull, I'd be a bit cautious about buying the stock at its current lofty valuation. As a result, I think SentinelOne is the better cybersecurity investment right now. Should you invest $1,000 in CrowdStrike right now? The stock market remains volatile due to geopolitical tensions and macro uncertainty, raising concerns about a potential slowdown in AI (artificial intelligence) spending. Nonetheless, Wall Street remains confident about several AI stocks, given the massive growth opportunity in the generative AI space over the long term. Using TipRanks' Stock Comparison Tool, we placed CoreWeave (CRWV), Palantir Technologies (PLTR), and Nvidia (NVDA) against each other to find the best AI stock, according to Wall Street analysts. Confident Investing Starts Here: CoreWeave (NASDAQ:CRWV) Stock CoreWeave, a cloud provider that specializes in AI infrastructure, is experiencing strong traction for its offerings amid the ongoing AI boom. The company has been in the news for its strategic deals. Notably, CoreWeave struck a $11.9 billion 5-year cloud computing contract with ChatGPT-maker OpenAI. The two AI companies also signed an expanded agreement of up to $4 billion to meet the growing demand for high-performance computing. Furthermore, CoreWeave is reportedly powering the recently announced cloud deal between Alphabet's Google (GOOGL) and OpenAI. CRWV stock has rallied by a staggering 359% from its IPO (initial public offering) price of $40. Is CRWV a Good Stock to Buy? Recently, Bank of America analyst Bradley Sills downgraded CoreWeave stock to Hold from Buy on valuation concerns, following the stellar rally in the AI infrastructure stock in reaction to the Q1 earnings. The 4-star analyst highlighted that CRWV stock is trading at an elevated valuation of 2027 EV/EBIT (enterprise value-to-earnings before interest and taxes) of 25x. While Sills noted several positives, like the expansion of CoreWeave's partnership with OpenAI and impressive revenue momentum, he pointed out the company's huge capital expenditure ($46.1 billion through 2027). Consequently, the analyst expects $21 billion of negative free cash flow through 2027. Turning to Wall Street, CoreWeave stock scores a Moderate Buy consensus rating based on six Buys, 11 Holds, and one Sell recommendation. The average CRWV stock price target of $78.53 indicates a significant downside risk of 57.2% from current levels. See more CRWV analyst ratings Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) Stock Data analytics company Palantir Technologies is considered one of the hottest AI stocks. PLTR stock has rallied more than 81% so far in 2025. The company's revenue is growing at a rapid pace across its Government and Commercial businesses. Palantir's AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform) offering is bolstering its business. Palantir's market-beating first-quarter results reinforced the strength of its AI-powered offerings. Notably, Q1 2025 revenue increased by 39% year-over-year to $884 million, while adjusted EPS (earnings per share) jumped 62%. Additionally, the company raised its full-year guidance, as it believes that it is in the 'middle of a tectonic shift' in the adoption of its software, mainly in the U.S. Is Palantir Stock a Buy? While several analysts are cautious on Palantir stock due to its lofty valuation, Loop Capital analyst Mark Schappel reiterated a Buy rating and boosted the price target from $130 to a Street-high of $150. Following a meeting with management, the 5-star analyst stated that he is more convinced about PLTR's AI growth story and his bullish investment thesis. Schappel believes that Palantir is an early software leader in enterprise AI, which he thinks is at a 'tipping point,' as small-scale pilots move into production and AI use cases increase exponentially across all industries. Trading at 48x EV/2027 revenue, the analyst agrees that PLTR stock is 'not for the faint of heart.' That said, he contends that investors should look at the big picture, which indicates that Palantir is exposed to a massive AI opportunity. With 10 Holds, three Buys, and four Sells, Wall Street has a Hold consensus rating on Palantir Technologies stock. The average PLTR stock price forecast of $104.27 indicates a possible downside of 24.1% from current levels. See more PLTR analyst ratings Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) Stock After a tough start to the year due to concerns about rising competition in the AI space, chip export restrictions, and tariff woes, Nvidia stock has recovered 21% over the past three months and is up 7.1% year-to-date. While uncertainty around chip exports and competition from custom AI chips remain an overhang, the semiconductor giant continues to gain from robust demand for its GPUs (graphics processing units) in the AI space, as reflected in the market-beating first-quarter results. Looking ahead, the demand for NVDA's Blackwell platform is expected to boost its top-line growth. Moreover, the company's focus on 'sovereign AI,' which it defines as a country's ability to develop and deploy AI, could drive its revenue higher. In this regard, Nvidia's lucrative deals, like the recently announced agreement with Saudi Arabia and Germany, are worth noting. Is Nvidia Stock a Buy, Hold, or Sell? Earlier this month, Bank of America Securities analyst Vivek Arya reiterated a Buy rating on Nvidia stock with a price target of $180. Following a meeting with management, the 5-star analyst noted that the tone of the team was very positive regarding demand for Nvidia's products and continued customer interest across cloud and enterprise, backed by a full-scale supply ramp. Arya believes that management addressed three key investor debates that have been weighing on NVDA stock over the past year – Blackwell rack ramp and execution, AI diffusion and sovereign demand, and China AI shipments. The analyst stated that Nvidia stock remains a top sector pick for Bank of America, as it is 'best positioned' to benefit from the ongoing AI boom, bolstered by a multi-year lead in 'performance (AI scaling), pipeline, incumbency, scale, and developer support.' Despite near-term challenges, Wall Street has a Strong Buy consensus rating on Nvidia stock based on 35 Buys, four Holds, and one Sell recommendation. The average NVDA stock price target of $173.19 indicates 20.4% upside potential from current levels. The e-commerce giant's Amazon Web Services (AWS) Braket platform already hosts quantum computing services from multiple providers, making it the Switzerland of the quantum wars. But Amazon isn't just playing host; it's also developing its quantum hardware, creating two distinct paths to profit from what could become a trillion-dollar market. This dual approach makes Amazon the most overlooked opportunity in the market for quantum computing. AI is accelerating quantum timelines Conventional wisdom says practical quantum computing remains decades away. Most experts point to persistent challenges with error rates, qubit stability, and the need for near-absolute-zero operating temperatures. They're probably wrong. What skeptics often overlook is the recursive learning potential of artificial intelligence (AI). When AI systems can design better AI systems, progress compounds exponentially. DeepMind's AlphaFold solved protein folding -- a 50-year challenge -- in months. The same recursive improvement cycle is about to hit quantum computing. AWS Braket: The quantum cloud marketplace While pure-play quantum companies race to build better hardware, Amazon has taken a different approach. AWS Braket, launched in 2019, enables developers to access quantum computers from D-Wave, IonQ, Rigetti Computing, and others through the cloud. Think of it as the App Store for quantum computing -- Amazon profits regardless of which hardware ultimately wins. This isn't Amazon's first platform rodeo. AWS generated $107.6 billion in revenue in 2024, crossing the $100 billion mark for the first time. Braket follows the same playbook, charging for access time while avoiding the massive research and development (R&D) costs of developing quantum hardware alone. Amazon's in-house hardware gives it a dual advantage Amazon isn't content to be just a middleman. The company's Center for Quantum Computing at Caltech is developing its own quantum processors, giving it a hedge in case proprietary hardware becomes the key differentiator. It's the best of both worlds: platform fees today, breakthrough potential tomorrow. Yes, quantum stocks have exploded. Companies like Rigetti Computing and IonQ sport billion-dollar valuations despite minimal revenue. Quantum Computing has surged by over 3,000% in the past year. But Amazon offers something these pure plays can't: a profitable business generating nearly $700 billion in annual revenue. The numbers tell the story. Over $1.25 billion poured into quantum start-ups in Q1 2025 alone -- double the amount from the previous year. Moreover, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang reversed course, calling quantum computing "imminent" rather than decades away. This admission added significant fuel to the quantum rally earlier this year. Real customers, real revenue, no hype required Unlike pure-play quantum companies burning cash on R&D, Amazon's Braket already serves paying customers. Volkswagen uses it for traffic optimization research. Goldman Sachs explores quantum Monte Carlo simulations for derivatives pricing. Roche investigates drug discovery applications. These aren't science projects. Fortune 500 companies are spending real money to explore quantum's potential. As algorithms improve and hardware matures, experimental budgets will transform into production workloads -- all running on AWS. The beauty of Amazon's model is its optionality. If quantum computing takes another decade to mature, AWS will keep printing money from traditional cloud services. If breakthroughs accelerate, Amazon will capture the infrastructure spending boom. Heads you win, tails you don't lose. The valuation case At just 24 times 2027 projected earnings, the market isn't pricing in quantum's massive potential upside for this tech stock. If quantum becomes a $100 billion market by 2035 and AWS captures even 30%, that's $30 billion in high-margin revenue -- comparable to AWS's entire business five years ago. With AWS operating margins above 35%, quantum could add meaningful earnings power. Yet, this optionality is barely reflected in the stock's current valuation. Investors looking for quantum upside without the moonshot risk don't need to chase cash-flow-negative companies. Amazon offers something far more powerful -- a platform that profits from the entire ecosystem, combined with a mountain of revenue.
