Blumhouse Shares the First Poster for FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S 2 — GeekTyrant
Universal Pictures has realeased a new poster for Blumhouse's upcoming horror movie Five Nights At Freddy's 2 , which looks like will be a great sequel. If you haven't watched the trailer for it yet, you can check it out here.
There's no plot summary for the film yet, but the tagline reads: 'Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances…'
Blumhouse's Five Nights at Freddy's was the highest-grossing horror film of 2023, and the sequel will devlier a blood-chilling new chapter of animatronic terror.
Based on Scott Cawthon's blockbuster horror game series, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is again directed by acclaimed filmmaker Emma Tammi ( The Wind, Blood Moon ).
The first film followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, hoping it will help him retain custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare. Mike's story continues in the upcoming sequel.
The movie stars Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard is also coming back for more chaotic animatronic mayhem! Jim Henson's Creature Shop is also back handling the animatronics!
Lillard previously said of the sequel: 'I will say that I think the filmmakers have done a great job of learning from the first movie of what fans want, and I think they're giving a lot more of that. It's going to be more exciting, and I think it's going to have more action.'
Blumhouse confirmed that this movie will be released only in theaters on December 5, 2025.

The video features interviews with the cast and crew and they tease a 'bigger', badder,' and 'bloodier' sequel 'in the best way'. The movie also look even more ridiculous than the first one. The film takes place two years after M3GAN , 'a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous (and impeccably choreographed) rampage and was subsequently destroyed, M3GAN's creator Gemma (Allison Williams) has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma's niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma's overprotective rules. 'Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia's self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around. 'With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match.' James Wan is producing the film for Atomic Monster, Jason Blum for Blumhouse and Gerard Johnstoneis back to direct the next wild chapter of A.I. robot mayhem. Akela Cooper ( Malignant, M3GAN ) returned to write the script. The upcoming horror sequel co-stars returning cast members Brian Jordan Alvarez and Jen Van Epps as Gemma's loyal tech teammates, Cole and Tess, and new characters played by Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp and Jemaine Clement. M3GAN 2.0 will be released in theaters on June 27, 2025.

My advice: Ignore the questionable age gap between the two and, instead, lean into the cheesy romance of it Birdcage Mike Nichols directed this comedy classic, inspired by the 1978 French movie La Cage aux Folles. Led by Robin Williams and Nathan Lane, the movie follows the story of an out and proud gay couple who must hide their relationship when the conservative parents of their son's fiancée come to visit. Gene Hackman and Dianne Weist are fantastic, and Hank Azaria's Agador Spartacus steals the show. Gramercy Pictures The Big Lebowski Look, what can be said about The Big Lebowski that hasn't already been said? This is the Coen brothers at their most iconic. Jeff Bridges's take on the role solidified the actor as a pop culture legend, and his laid-back vibe helps to deliver the craziness that transpires throughout the entire film. John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, John Turturro, Sam Elliott and even Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers all deliver memorable performances. If you've never seen this one, you're in for quite a ride. And if you have, isn't it about time for a rewatch? The movie, which spawned a series of sequels, an animated spin-off and a string of comic books, tells the tale of Neo (Keanu Reeves) a man who grapples with the concept that our reality isn't real at all and, in the process of dealing with that brain-breaker, he's also part of a resistance movement in a dystopian nightmare where he's acknowledged as the potential savior of humanity. Hey, no big deal, right? Not only did this movie propel Reeves into a blockbuster superstar but it also introduced groundbreaking special effects that helped push the genre and filmmaking itself into the 21st century. Universal Pictures Jaws Jaws turns 50 years old this year, which is a crazy thing to type. Steven Spielberg's action movie about a vengeful shark changed the way movies are made. This right here was the first-ever summer blockbuster -- for a reason. The movie is full of Alfred Hitchcock-style suspense but what makes it so watchable is the dynamic between the lead actors Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. Come for Quint's (Shaw) epic drunk monologue, stay for the unnerving 4 (yes 4) minutes that the great white is actually on screen. Universal Pictures Wicked The big-budget, big-screen musical adaptation of the hit Broadway play, which stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, took the box office by storm. Wicked -- which is the first half of a two-movie journey -- follows the duo, who become unlikely friends during their time as students at Shiz University, and gives a look at the Land of Oz before Dorothy's house landed on the Wicked Witch of the East. Universal Pictures Oppenheimer Christopher Nolan's Oscar-winning film explores the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer (played to perfection by Cillian Murphy), the physicist who played a pivotal role in developing the atomic bomb. The story unfolds throughout various points of Oppenheimer's life, offering a well-rounded and thought-provoking look at the man who pushed the world to the brink. The production value, direction and performances by its ensemble cast resulted in an epic cinematic experience. It's no wonder the movie brought home the Academy Award for Best Picture.

From retail jobs to foster parents in their 30s
Nine years ago, Mike and Andy were working jobs in retail which left them in a "cycle of nothingness". The couple, from Birmingham, wanted to experience family life. They decided to start fostering children. They were 30 and 33 - significantly younger than the UK fostering average of 54. Andy and Mike now foster full-time and have been sharing the rewards and challenges of their role. They are parents to a teenage girl and boy from different families - two of the nearly 12,000 children in care in the West Midlands as of January 2024. Mike said they had helped the children form a strong sibling bond. "The dynamic between the two of them is brilliant," he said. "They're just like siblings – they'll argue, call each other names, and then, the next minute, they're holding hands around the shopping centre." Andy and Mike believe their role is to help foster children overcome "unimaginable circumstances". Before she moved in, their foster daughter had seven homes in 12 months. She has now been with Andy and Mike for five years, and will stay until she is at least 18. She was a bridesmaid at their wedding. Andy said fostering without any preconceived parenting ideas had made the experience enjoyable. "Some parents can find it challenging because foster children have had very different early experiences to their own children, and they have to learn to navigate trauma and complex emotions," he said. The couple said they believed there were myths over fostering which deterred young people from inquiring about it. "Fostering is a way of life, and we see these children as our own, but it's important other people know that you are financially supported when you foster," said Andy. "We do a lot of training, learning, and admin while caring for the children around the clock. "You can also still go to work and foster at the same time, and you can foster if you happen to rent your home." Mike added: "We see the admin side of things, like the training and daily logs as work, but the rest of the time, they're just our children. "Sometimes it's really hard, but you don't give up on your own children. "They're part of our family and our life now, they bring so much joy and energy to our lives."
