The $40 million project from the 'Bad Boys for Life' directorial duo is being shot at the newly inaugurated Alhisn Big Time Studios in Riyadh, one of the Middle East and North Africa region's biggest film and television production facilities, with additional filming at Riyadh Boulevard. Riyadh will also serve as a stand-in for multiple international cities, including Mumbai and Shanghai.
The thriller is based on an original story by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority.
Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz ('The Blue Elephant,' 'Kira & El Gin,' 'Abu Ali') and Ahmed Ezz ('Kira & El Gin,' 'The Cell,' 'Welad Rizk') headline the action film.
Ezz plays Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzazi who apprehends Ghali Abu Dawood (Aziz), a high-ranking member of the clandestine global crime syndicate known as Seven Dogs. A year later, the organization resurfaces, trafficking a dangerous new drug — Pink Lady — across the Middle East.
With time running out, Khalid reluctantly joins forces with Ghali, the only person with intimate knowledge of the syndicate's operations. Their uneasy alliance propels them on a high-stakes mission across multiple global cities as they strive to dismantle the organization and prevent the drug from flooding Arab streets.
'Seven Dogs' is slated for a late 2025 release.

Ithra Shines at Spain's "Concéntrico" Festival with Inspired Saudi Agricultural Heritage

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is participating in the international architecture and design festival 'Concéntrico' in Logroño, Spain, with an art installation from June 19 to 24, 2025. Ithra is also supporting an interactive experience inspired by Saudi Arabia's agricultural heritage, presented by Saudi studio 'In-Class.' This initiative reflects Ithra's ongoing commitment to supporting the creative scene and fostering positive cultural exchange between participants, reinforcing its role as a multifaceted cultural and creative hub. 50 Artisans The immersive installation 'Roots of Warmth' by Saudi artist Raghad Al-Ahmad explores life in nature. It was created in collaboration with over 50 female artisans from the city of Al-Jouf and draws inspiration from the artist's Hijazi roots, particularly in the city of Taif, where gathering under the shade of trees is a staple of rural life. In addition, Ithra unveiled a sensory experience titled 'Summer's Bounty' on June 19, 2025, developed by In-Class studio. This unique interactive experience celebrates the Saudi summer through the rich variety of local fruits and herbs. Notably, the immersive installation revives the concept of connection, encouraging visitors to engage with and enter the space to experience a tribute to the deep relationship between agriculture, family bonds, and nature. Cultural Heritage This participation aligns with Ithra's efforts to preserve and promote cultural heritage through various initiatives, including Islamic Art conferences, contemporary Islamic crafts exhibitions, and interactive experiences that emphasize discovery and engagement. Ithra opens the door for audiences of all ages to explore the creativity and knowledge embedded in craft traditions, both locally and globally, spreading the essence of Saudi identity to new audiences around the world. Contemporary Artistic Vision Noura Al-Zamil, Head of Programs at Ithra, stated that the center's participation reflects its mission to create a positive impact as a multidimensional cultural destination. She added: 'We are proud to present the remarkable work of artist Raghad Al-Ahmad at the Concéntrico Festival. Commissioning and showcasing this piece at one of Europe's most prominent design festivals embodies Ithra's ongoing support for the creative scene. This initiative offers Saudi artists and artisans a platform to share their voices and creativity with the world, enriching the global cultural landscape. Additionally, the installation 'Roots of Warmth' carries a distinctive national character and is presented through a contemporary artistic lens that radiates balance and harmony, fostering dialogue and cultural exchange among the festival's participants.' Architectural Dialogue It is worth noting that this marks Ithra's second participation in the Concéntrico International Festival of Architecture and Design. The installation will be open to the public from June 19 to 24 in Plaza de la Diversidad in Logroño. Following its debut in Spain, 'Roots of Warmth' will travel to Saudi Arabia to be featured in the 2025 edition of Tanween—Saudi Arabia's flagship annual design event. The festival celebrates global design excellence and highlights leading voices in creative innovation. Finally, the installation will return to Ithra, enriched by its interaction with a global audience, and will be reintroduced within a new local context—continuing a vibrant architectural dialogue that reflects the spirit and creative evolution of the Kingdom. Saudi Ministry of Finance Joins 16th UN Anti-Corruption Session

The Ministry of Finance took part in the 16th session of meetings under the United Nations Convention against Corruption, held from June 16 to 20, 2025, at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, Austria. During the session, the Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong commitment to fostering integrity and fair competition in public procurement, as well as to deploying robust mechanisms to combat, detect, and prevent corruption. Central to these efforts is the implementation of key legal and institutional reforms, including the launch of the government procurement e-portal, Etimad. UN Anti-Corruption Session Etimad serves as a centralized platform through which all public tendering and procurement processes are conducted. By mandating digital procedures, the platform ensures transparency, procedural integrity, and data confidentiality. It also enables stakeholders and the public to access comprehensive information on tenders, contracts, and related activities. Each government entity maintains a dedicated record, enhancing oversight and compliance with relevant regulations. The Saudi delegation also showcased the Kingdom's initiative to standardize technical systems across government bodies through the Unified Government Resources Planning System, which documents procurement activities from their initial stages—prior to public announcement—through completion. This promotes seamless integration and greater accountability. Further emphasizing its commitment to innovation in oversight, the Kingdom introduced Raqeeb, an advanced system that leverages artificial intelligence and data analytics to detect fraud and irregularities throughout the procurement process. Raqeeb is designed to identify practices such as bid rigging, collusion, price manipulation, favoritism, and the use of fictitious entities. It enables dynamic monitoring and swift intervention while maintaining the highest standards of data protection. The Ministry's participation in these international meetings reflects Saudi Arabia's active role in global anti-corruption efforts and its dedication to exchanging knowledge and best practices in alignment with the UN Convention. This engagement also supports the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes good governance, transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption as key pillars of national transformation.
