Love Island favourites Sammy Root and Elma Pazar have found themselves at the centre of split rumours again and again since their time in the iconic ITV villa.
he pair, who exited the Love Island: All Stars villa as an item in February, have seemingly maintained a strong bond since then. Their paths had previously crossed on ITV's The Only Way is Essex, where they "flirted a little bit" but didn't really connect beyond their time on the show.

However, when 24-year-old Sammy made his bombshell entrance into All Stars, he was clearly smitten with Elma. Despite enjoying a blossoming romance, the couple faced scrutiny in April following a vague TikTok by Elma, 32, which led fans to believe she was hinting at Sammy being a 'red flag.'

Yet, it's not just the video causing a stir among their followers; Sammy suggests that even "the tiniest" actions can spark split rumours, reports OK!

The couple, only a few months into their relationship, have already established a private strategy for dealing with such speculation. In a candid chat with OK! Magazine's Screen Time team, Sammy revealed: "I don't really know where the rumours come from. Its usually the tiniest little thing; I could post carrousel pictures and it won't have her in it or she'll do the same to me, and then apparently we broke up."

Despite the unfounded gossip, the reality TV personality recognises that some Love Island fans are deeply "passionate" about following the journeys of former contestants. "I think when people watch the show they get attached to the couples, which is understandable," he acknowledged.
He elaborated: "I think some people probably get a bit passionate about each couple. So they like to see pictures of you with each other. Whenever I'm posting content and I'm not with Elma. There's always comments saying 'Where's Elma?'"

Regarding how they react to rumours, they take it in stride. "If I see anything about us being broken [up] out, I'll just DM it to Elma and we'll just laugh about it," Sammy shared.
The ITV favourite added: "I'll ring her and say 'look what I've just sent you' and it'll be a post saying Sammy and Elma just broke up. And we would've just been sat on the sofa eating caramel nibbles."
There have also been speculations among their followers suggesting that they were together before 'meeting' on Love Island: All Stars.

Some eagle-eyed fans have spotlighted Instagram exchanges between the pair from 2024, alleging these demonstrate they'd been secretly involved after their encounter on TOWIE.

However, Sammy has dispelled such notions with good humour, dismissing the idea that social media interactions suggest an undisclosed romance.

"What everyone doesn't understand is everything that they've seen on TOWIE is the full extent of what happened," Sammy insisted.
"There was nothing that happened behind closed doors. Elma and I never even kissed or spent any time together. We just we flirted a little bit and filmed a couple of scenes for the show."
Since his departure from the ITV series, the former Love Island champion has now delved into the world of horology, operating his own watch raffle business, The Watch Draw.

Olivia Attwood hits out at the Kardashians in candid discussion about plastic surgery as she reveals the one procedure she wouldn't have

Olivia Attwood hit out at the Kardashians in candid discussion about plastic surgery on Saturday revealed the one procedure she wouldn't have. The TV personality, 34, who has always been open, claimed Kylie Jenner 's recent secret boob job admission was 'too little, too late' and said the famous family's 'bodies are not created in the gym.' Olivia has undergone a dramatic change throughout the years, swapping surgical enhancements for reductions, and the Love Island villa for hard-hitting documentaries on subjects as diverse as the online sex industry and cosmetic surgery. Aged 20, she paid £3,000 for a boob job that gave her 32E 'watermelons' then paid around £10,000 to have her old implants removed and new ones fitted. In 2023, Kylie, 27, finally admitted that she had a secret boob job when she was just 19, despite being economical with the truth for years over breast enhancement. This week, she shared the details about her procedure, including the size, profile and surgeon after a fan on TikTok asked. Sharing her thoughts Olivia told The Sun: 'Kylie came out and said about her boobs, and I was like: "I've been talking about my breasts for the past 10 years." I like the Kardashians, this is not me bashing them, but it's too little, too late for me.' She explained how the family should be more open about other procedures, which might be less obvious. The presenter continued: 'We know Kylie's breasts are fake. We knew she had lip fillers when she was selling those lip kits. What about talking about lipo and BBLs? Their bodies are not created in the gym.' Olivia explained how she thinks it's 'disingenuous' for celebrities to monetise off products such as weight loss plans having actually undergone surgery. She also admitted how her TV show had 'sobered her up to the reality of surgery' after seeing all the 'gruesome' details. Although claiming that she as a 'pancake bum', Olivia said: 'BBL is the only one I wouldn't do, because the risk is too much. It's one of the surgeries that has the highest revision rate.' The cosmetic procedure is used to enhance the appearance of the patient's buttocks by making them bigger, more rounded, or lifted. A standard BBL involves removing fat from the hips, abdomen, or back with liposuction before injecting it back into the buttocks. In an update this week about her breast surgery, Kylie shared: '445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!! Garth Fisher!!! hope this helps lol.' Kylie shared the exact details of her boob job to a thrilled fan, two years after finally confessing to the procedure Kylie's plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher is famed for being the man behind many of the Kardashian and Jenner family procedures. He's largely known for performing Kris Jenner's pinnacle facelift on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The board-certified surgeon also did Kourtney Kardashian's breast augmentation and removed a tumor from Khloe's face. He even gave a pre-transition Caitlyn Jenner a revision facelift, which was also featured on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

James Argent beams in snaps with Towie pals after ex breaks silence on assault

James Argent joined The Only Way Is Essex stars Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Fordham to celebrate their wedding day - after his ex, Nicoline Artursson, broke her silence on his suspended jail sentence James Argent looked like butter wouldn't melt as he posed alongside his good friends Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Fordham at their wedding - weeks after being convicted of domestic abuse. The 37-year-old reality star was a guest at the nuptials of the former The Only Way Is Essex stars. Georgia, 34, and Tommy, 33, first tied-the-knot in December 2023, but held a second, more lavish celebration this week. The bride and groom highlighted their day with loved up snaps that they shared on social media on Saturday. ‌ With Georgia shining in her pristine wedding dress and Tommy looking smart in a sand coloured suit, the pair shared details of their big day - which took place in Spain on Friday. ‌ The couple wrote in a joint post: "20.06.2025 . Our Dream wedding finally happened... Best day of our lives. Surrounded by so much love. Can not wait to get all of our pictures & videos back to show you how incredible it was & you'll be able to watch it all." With the couple sharing their happy news, it appeared the all clear was awarded for guests from the event to share snaps from the celebrations too - and James was one such participant to upload photos himself. In a post on his main grid, the disgraced star wrote: "My Best Friend's Wedding. Congratulations to @georgiakousoulou @iamtommyfordham. "I'll never forget us all being in Ibiza over 10 years ago, When you first got together. I knew back then you were destined for each other. You've stuck by each other's side through thick & thin." Arg continued: "Tommy always said I would sing at their wedding one day & it happened. I had so much fun being your Master Of Ceremonies too, You've both always supported me." ‌ He added: "I can't wait to make many more memories together as we get older, I love you both so much." Arg's post was met with a wall of support from famous friends as he has limited his comments. Georgia herself was among those replying, typing: "Love you" alongside a single red heart emoji. While former Towie star Ferne McCann also typed "Love" alongside a string of red heart emojis. ‌ Last month, Arg disgusted fans when he left his now-former partner Nicoline Artursson "bloodied and bruised" after pushing her down concrete stairs at a property in Spain. He received a suspended sentence for his actions after striking a plea deal and admitting to a lesser crime of "mistreatment". Following the horrific incident, Nicoline has been reclaiming her power and declaring she won't be silenced and has been sharing empowering messages online. ‌ Last week she urged her followers to make sure they "partner with the right power" while sharing photographs of herself looking happy and smiling. In a moving Instagram post, she wrote: "Surround yourself with ONLY people who shares the motto of wanting to be their best extraordinary self with you and others." She continue: "In the mist of a set-back there is a comeback laying ahead of you. I'm so blessed and privileged to be learning from our dear family friend @timstoreyofficial. "I thank each and every one of you for all your supportive kindness & love you've been showing me - It means more than you'll ever know! I appreciate you all so much." ‌ Hinting towards her ordeal, she continued: "Going through hardships, your focus will be put to a test. Where you re-direct your mindset will be crucial. "This does not mean to surpress any emotions or feelings - It means to go through them fully no matter how hard it is. The power of humanity is that we cheer each other on when good things are happening and we help each other out when life take you rock bottom. So let's come together! Surround yourself with pure and warmhearted people who will be there with you and let them know they matter to you. "I feel so passionate about helping others going through big as small hurdles to show you life has a plan for you." And concluding her post, she added: "Remember, we stand strongest together." Her message was met with a wall of support, with one follower typing in reply: "So pleased you have found peace after your horrific experience."

Stephen Mulhern's £1m Butlin's role axed in latest career blow for ITV star

Former Butlin's redcoat Stephen Mulhern has lost his lucrative £1m contract with the famous holiday firm. ITV star Stephen Mulhern has been dealt a huge career blow. The presenter has been dropped from his reported £1million gig as the face of Butlins, rounding off a spate of ill fortune with work commitments. Mulhern, 48, hasn't had his contract renewed with the famous family-friendly UK holiday resort chain. As part of the deal he performed magic shows on stage at the firm's centres in Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness, but he will not return after the summer season. ‌ A spokesperson confirmed the news and stated that the star, a former redcoat for the legendary firm, had 'enjoyed' his time working with the brand. ‌ The spokesperson told the Mirror: 'Stephen has absolutely loved being part of the Butlin's family - performing his stage shows in front of thousands of holiday makers across the country and the relationship with Butlin's remains hugely positive. "This change allows Stephen to explore new opportunities in the family holiday space – something he's incredibly passionate about." A Butlin's spokesperson added: "Stephen has been an incredible part of the Butlin's experience and continues to be a valued member of the family. Stephen's much-loved live show won't return in 2026 after three fantastic years, but we're thrilled to be working together on ongoing projects this autumn.' Stephen's Butlin's axe was revealed by the Sun, as a source told them: 'Stephen has been a massive hit with holidaymakers. He began his career as a Redcoat and has kept families brilliantly entertained.' The TV magician's role on ITV Dancing On Ice came to an end earlier this year when the show was cancelled. The reality ice skating competition was cancelled due to low ratings, after Stephen had joined Holly Willoughby to host in January. He replaced Phillip Schofield, who was booted from all of his ITV roles after his affair with a younger colleague at This Morning was revealed in 2023. And last year, Stephen's other TV show, In For A Penny, was cancelled after six seasons , though there have been hinted it will return. A source previously told The Sun: "So don't put your pennies away just yet as the team could be popping up in your local town, to challenge even more members of the public to take part in their unique and madcap games in the future." ‌ Stephen also suffered a traumatic time in his personal life last year when his dad passed away. Stephen paid tribute to his late father in a touching moment after his Royal Variety Performance act last December. As the audience applauded his magic tricks, he said: "That was for you dad." The TV host continues to front ITV's Deal for No Deal which was revived in 2023. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
