The iconic television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which once ruled the Indian TV landscape and became a staple in households across the country, is all set to make a grand comeback with Season 2.
And what's got everyone talking? The original stars
Smriti Irani
and Amar Upadhyay are reprising their much-loved roles as Tulsi and Mihir.
The news of the show's return has created a wave of excitement among netizens who grew up watching the emotional rollercoaster of the Virani family. Social media has been abuzz with fan theories, nostalgic throwbacks, and memes celebrating the comeback of what was once the most-watched show on Indian television.
But it's not just the audience that's feeling nostalgic. Actress
Juhi Parmar
, who became a household name with her show
Kumkum
– Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, also jumped on the Kyunki wave. During a recent trip to Dubai, she posted a fun and nostalgic video on Instagram where she toured a location in full "Tulsi style," with the original Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi title track playing in the background.
Juhi captioned the post, 'Nostalgia has always been a flavour I have loved and with it this time, here's a fun take on the song that used to chime in every household at 10:30 PM! I know most of us are excited to see the show coming back, and with it here, I am giving you a fun Dubai glimpse on the track that gives us all goosebumps and takes us down memory lane.
And yes, the queen of television @ektarkapoor along with @smritiiraniofficial coming back, what else could Indian Television Lovers ask for… wishing the entire team best of luck….
.#KumkumMeetsKyunki.'
The video struck a chord with fans, blending two nostalgic worlds – Kumkum and Kyunki – and proving that the magic of Indian daily soaps from the early 2000s is still very much alive in viewers' hearts.
With
Ekta Kapoor
once again at the helm and Smriti Irani returning to the small screen after years, expectations are high. And if the fan response is anything to go by, Kyunki 2.0 is already a hit, even before it hits the airwaves.

Meet Pushpa star Allu Arjun's wife, Sneha Reddy, never acted in films, runs her own business of..., has net worth of Rs...

In a jaw-dropping 24 hours, Pushpa 2: The Rule shattered records, soaring past Rs 282 crore at the box office—wagging tongues have even whispered of eclipsing Jawan and Baahubali 2. But while Allu Arjun's swagger fuels this juggernaut, the silent power behind the scenes is his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy. The roar around Pushpa 2 isn't just hype—it's historic. With that one-day haul, the sequel vaulted to become India's biggest opening ever. And at the center of it stands Allu Arjun, reprising his gangster-turned-hero role with ferocious finesse. His fee of a staggering Rs 300 crore isn't just money—it's legacy. Forbes confirms what insiders knew: Arjun is India's highest-paid actor of 2024, touching a lifetime fortune of Rs 460 crore. Who is she? Sneha Reddy doesn't chase limelight, yet her influence is undeniable. A Scorpio-born engineer who studied at MIT Cambridge and holds a master's degree in computer science from the US, she's driven by intellect and innovation. After returning to India, she took charge at her father's engineering institute, SCT Institute of Technology, steering academic excellence and placements. Her entrepreneurial streak gave birth to Studio Picaboo in 2016—a boutique photo studio in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Arjun celebrated her launch with a heartfelt Instagram shoutout: 'PICABOO! A startup by my wife… creating great pictures and memories for everyone.' Beyond the spotlight With over nine million Instagram followers, Sneha has carved her niche as a low-profile powerhouse. Her net worth—estimated at around Rs 42 crore ($5 million)—may not rival her superstar husband's, but it reflects something more potent: her independence. The power couple Arjun's empire includes a private jet, a sprawling Jubilee Hills bungalow, a lineup of luxury cars, and endorsement deals that fill bank accounts faster than royalties. With Pushpa 2's mind-bending success, his wealth is only set to swell. But the man at the centre of the storm stands firm because of the woman at his side. Their love story began more than a decade ago—an arranged-meets-at-wedding click moment that became legend. Engaged in 2010, married in 2011, they now parent two children: Ayaan (born 2014) and Arha (2016). Together, they share a journey rooted in love, partnership, and mutual respect. What to watch next Pushpa 2's opening triumph confirms Arjun's indomitable star power. Yet Sneha's narrative offers a richer subplot: a journey from scholar to entrepreneur, the silent strength in the shadows, and the woman whose unwavering spirit forms the backbone of the 'Pushpa' phenomenon. In a spectacle built on muscle and swag, it's her brains and balance that keep the structure from toppling. And for fans and critics alike, the invisible force behind the icon is just as fascinating as the man himself.

Detective Sherdil review: Who killed the billionaire in this wannabe Knives Out feat. Diljit Dosanjh? Not suspense, that

Detective Sherdil movie review Director: Ravi Chhabriya Cast: Diljit Dosanjh, Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, and Banita Sandhu Star Rating: ★★.5 The bigger mystery than the one explored in Detective Sherdil is why the lead star hasn't promoted the film. There isn't a post on Diljit Dosanjh's Instagram profile in recent times about it, but posts galore about his next theatrical release, Sardaarji 3. Detective Sherdil movie review: Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular investigator in the film. Anyway, coming back to Detective Sherdil, it's a story revolving around a detective who gets involved in a case involving a billionaire's (Boman Irani) murder in broad daylight. Suspects are his family, comprising a wife, brother-in-law, daughter and many more. Detective Sherdil appears to be more intelligent than it really is. A multitude of characters form the cast- Banita Sandhu as Pankaj Bhatti's daughter Shanti, Diana Penty as Natasha, Chunky Panday as Bodhi Mama, Sumeet Vyas and more give it a proper Knives Out setting, and that's also my pet peeve with a host of thriller films- they all inevitably end up looking and feeling the same. Housefull 5- a group of people are investigated for a billionaire's murder aboard a cruise, Vidya Balan's Neeyat in 2023, which was again about- you guessed it right- a billionaire's murder. So then, the only real innovation can happen in the big reveal. The performances Diljit's Detective Sherdil spouts one-liners, comes close to breaking the fourth wall, but there is nothing concrete, really, that he comes up with. If anything, he's an average detective. He comes up with an analysis of what could have happened at the crime scene and with the different suspects, but none of it is convincing enough. And the done-to-death storyline doesn't help either. Sagar Bajaj, Ravi Zafar and Ali Abbas Zafar have been credited for the writing. The runtime is under two hours, so thankfully, it doesn't get stretched. But the plot development is linear, with a lack of shocking twists. Diljit's cool dude energy comes off a bit pretentious at times. Diana, as a no-nonsense detective working with Sherdil, is passable. Boman Irani, as the patriarch, infuses some life into this film. Ratna Pathak Shah, as his cunning wife, is also good. The rest of the cast does their job. Chunky, as Boman's mysterious brother-in-law, makes his presence felt. Overall, Detective Sherdil is a glossy but underwhelming murder mystery that tries to wear a smart hat but forgets to fill it with real wit or suspense.
