EXO's Baekhyun lands 1st solo entry on Billboard 200
Baekhyun of EXO entered the Billboard 200 for the first time on his own, agency INB100 said Wednesday.
His fifth solo EP, 'Essence of Reverie,' ranked No. 121 on the main albums chart dated June 7.
EXO has four albums that have made the chart between 2015 and 2019: its second LP 'Exodus,' fourth LP 'The War,' fifth LP 'Don't Mess Up My Tempo' and sixth LP 'Obsession."
His new solo set sold over 1 million copies in three days, becoming his fourth consecutive million-selling solo album. The EP topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 24 regions and the lead single 'Elevator' on its Top Songs Chart in 14.
On Monday, he unveiled a music video for the B-side track 'Lemonade,' and on Saturday, he will kick off his first solo international tour with a concert in Seoul.

EXO's D.O teams up with Zico for 1st solo LP
D.O of EXO, also known as Doh Kyungsoo, joined forces with Zico for his first solo studio album, agency Company Soosoo said Friday. The track list for the LP 'Bliss' shows ten songs from the upcoming release, including lead single 'Sing Along!' BTS' Jungkook tops 1.2b Spotify streams with ‘Standing Next to You'
Jungkook of BTS garnered 1.2 billion plays on Spotify with his solo single 'Standing Next to You,' said label Big Hit Music on Monday. It is his second solo endeavor to achieve the feat, following 'Seven (feat. Latto).' Both songs are from his first solo album, 'Golden,' which came out in November 2023. 'Standing Next to You' ranked No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 and spent 19 weeks on the main songs chart while the album stayed on Billboard 200 for 25 weeks after hitting it at No. 2. The single topped Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global and went platinum in the US for selling over 1 million units in March last year. "Golden" reached the same milestone nine months later. The artist made a guest appearance at J-Hope's solo show last week, two days after he was discharged.

Enhypen enters Billboard 200 at No. 3 with 6th EP
Enhypen landed on Billboard 200 at No. 3 with its sixth EP, according to the chart preview published Sunday in the US. EP 'Desire: Unleash' is the band's eighth entry on the main albums chart and the fifth album to make the Top 10. The eight-track album sold more than 2.14 million copies in the first week, the second most for a K-pop album released this year. It topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 12 regions and claimed the top spot on Oricon's Daily, Weekly and Weekly Combined Album Rankings. Focus track 'Bad Desire' came in first place on television music chart shows three times. On July 29, the septet will put out fourth single in Japan 'Yoi,' a first in two years, between its concerts in Tokyo and Osaka.
