Shares of Granules India will be in focus on Monday after the company announced that its active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facility in Telangana has received an observation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under Form 483.In a stock exchange filing, Granules India said the FDA completed an inspection at its API Unit-1 facility in Bonthapally, Sangareddy district, last week.According to the FDA, Form 483 observations are issued when investigators observe practices or conditions that may potentially violate the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. However, a Form 483 does not constitute a final determination of non-compliance by the agency.Granules India said it will respond to the observation within the stipulated time.The Bonthapally site is Granules India's largest API manufacturing facility for paracetamol. It also houses production units for Metformin and Guaifenesin APIs, the company said.According to Trendlyne, the average analyst target price for Granules India is Rs 622, indicating an upside potential of about 28% from current levels. Of the 8 analysts tracking the stock, the consensus rating is 'Strong Buy'.On the technical front, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 40.4, suggesting neutral to slightly bearish momentum. The stock continues to trade below its 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day simple moving averages (SMAs), indicating continued pressure.Granules India shares have declined around 19% year-to-date, but the stock has delivered a 66% return over the past two years. GAIL to invest Rs 844 crore in pipeline capacity
State-owned gas utility GAIL (India) Ltd on Monday said it will invest Rs 844 crore in expanding Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel natural gas pipeline capacity to meet increased energy demand. The DUPL-DPPL network, the name Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel natural gas pipeline network is referred to, currently has 19.9 million standard cubic metres per day capacity. This is being expanded to 22.5 mmscmd, GAIL said in a stock exchange filing. GAIL also said it has pushed back the completion scheme of its 1,702 km Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline project from June 30, 2025 to September 30, 2025. The 317-km Nagpur-Jabalpur pipeline is 97 per cent mechanically completed. "The pipeline laying work is affected due to delay in acquisition of right of use (RoU), permanent land parcels for valve stations and local resistance." "The entire Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline is expected to be completed progressively by September 2025," GAIL said. GAIL said it has also revised the schedule for the 744-km Srikakulam-Angul pipeline project from June 2025 to December 2025. "Entire mainline of 422 km has been mechanically completed and commissioning has been started. Out of 322 km (spur lines), lowering of 252 km has been completed. Further, work on the pipeline was affected due to delay in obtaining forest permission and till date, working permission of 45 km has been received out of total required permission of 56 km," it added.

EV energy tech startup Kazam raises $6.2 million from IFC, Vertex Ventures, Avaana Capital Advisors
EV energy-tech startup Kazam has secured $6.2 million in funding from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), along with existing investors Vertex Ventures SEA & India and Avaana Capital Advisors. The Bangalore-based company said that these funds will support Kazam's growth as it rolls out its energy transition tools to boost the shift towards sustainable mobility . This new round takes the total capital raised by the company to $19.2 million. Previous equity rounds, led by Avaana Capital Advisors, Vertex Ventures SEA & India, and Chakra Ventures, brought in $13 million. 'Kazam is building the digital infrastructure for EVs at scale, something that's critical as the world transitions to clean mobility,' said Akshay Shekhar, CEO and cofounder of Kazam. 'IFC's backing signals confidence in our platform's potential to decarbonise transport, especially across emerging markets.' The company has seen strong growth, with revenues jumping from $1.5 million in FY24 to $6 million in FY25, a fourfold increase. Kazam is aiming to double that to $12 million this fiscal and expects to reach earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda) profitability soon. 'EVs are key to accelerating India's economic growth and energy transition. However, limited charging infrastructure remains a challenge.
