Hibs forward Dylan Vente joins Heerenveen for 'significant fee'

Dylan Vente has completed a permanent transfer from Hibernian to Eredivisie side Heerenveen for 'a significant fee'.
The Dutch forward moved to Easter Road two years ago but spent most of last season on loan with FC Zwolle in his homeland, where he scored 13 goals.
Vente's form in the Dutch top flight has prompted Heerenveen to make a move to take him back to the Netherlands.
The 26-year-old scored 11 goals in 43 appearances for the Hibees and manager David Gray said: 'Dylan performed well in the Eredivisie with PEC Zwolle last season and felt more comfortable back in his homeland, playing football with a smile on his face.
'His time at Hibs didn't quite work out the way we'd all planned, but I'd like to thank him for all his hard work and hope he goes on to achieve his ambitions and full potential.'

Van Bommel Jr, 20, picked up his first yellow card for a shove on 19 minutes. And in the 21st, he made a cynical tackle on Chelsea new-boy Geovany Quenda as the teenage winger tried to launch a counter attack. That left Georgian referee Goga Kikacheishvili with a decision to make. Nicolas Kuhn watches dithering RB Leipzig go tame as transfer truth comes to boil over Celtic star

The former Germany youth international is in demand this summer RB Leipzig's pursuit of Celtic star Nicolas Kuhn is set to be turned down a notch - according to a report. Despite dropping off in the second half of last season, the German winger finished the campaign with an impressive 21 goals and 15 assists in 51 matches in all competitions. ‌ Last week, it was reported that the former Bayern Munich kid is a summer target for Bundesliga side Leipzig, who missed out on European football altogether next season with a disappointing seventh place finish in Germany's top tier. ‌ Kuhn has also been touted for a big money switch to Newcastle but Hoops hero and Record Sport columnist Chris Sutton has warned that the wide man is not ready for the step-up and needs another year until his belt at Parkhead first. However, a move from Leipzig for Kuhn - or any player for that matter - will reportedly be on hold until a decision on just who will be in the dugout at the Red Bull Arena next season is made. Die Roten Bullen have been without a permanent boss since March 30 when Marco Rose got the boot after a very underwhelming showing on home soil and in Europe. Former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain number two Zsolt Low was appointed as interim manager for the remainder of the campaign but is not expected to be in contention to land the job on a permanent basis. And while Ole Werner - who stepped down from Werder Bremen last month after leading them to a eight place finish in the Bundesliga - is the favourite to replace Low, German outlet Merkur state that getting the managerial situation sorted will take preference over improving the squad. Leipzig have already snapped up the signing of talented Dutch youngster OH Leuven ahead of the new season but that deal was completed back in April. ‌ The report also states that a potential swoop for Valencia's Spain U21 star Cristhian Mosquera has also cooled until a new man in the hot seat is in place. They claim that Mosquera has gone as far as giving Leizpig a verbal agreement that he wants to move to Germany but won't officially put pen to paper until he knows just who he will be playing under. ‌ You can get all the news you need on our dedicated Rangers and Celtic pages, and sign up to our newsletters to make sure you never miss a beat throughout the season. David Gray hopeful Rocky Bushiri & Nectar Triantis will be back for Hibernian

Gray hopeful Bushiri & Triantis will be back for Hibs , Nectar Triantis (left) and Rocky Bushiri (right) were integral parts of David Gray's side last season 3 hours ago Head coach David Gray revealed Hibernian have held positive talks as they bid to secure the services of Rocky Bushiri and Nectar Triantis for the upcoming season. Both players were instrumental in helping the the Leith side finish third in the Scottish Premiership last term. Centre-back Bushiri has been with Hibs since January 2022, but the 25-year-old is currently out of contract and weighing up his future. "Rocky's season was prolonged by going away on international duty, so he's been away doing that," Gray told the Press Association. "A couple of weeks off for him, a lot of positive talks in the meantime, and he's someone who did incredibly well for Hibs last season. "Naturally, there will be interest in him from elsewhere, but as I said, there have been real positive talks on that one. It's certainly something we're trying to do and working towards." Australian midfielder Triantis was one of four nominees for the Scottish Football Writers' Player of the Year award after excelling during his season-long loan from Sunderland, where he is contracted until 2027. "His parent club obviously got promoted to the Premier League, so there are conversations going on there about what's next for Nectar," Gray added. "Clearly, he's someone who was really, really good for us last year and someone you'd like to bring back.
