Tom Brady's ruthless advice to Shedeur Sanders resurfaces after his Raiders snubbed QB in dramatic draft slide
Well before Shedeur Sanders slid to the fifth round of the NFL Draft, Tom Brady gave him some ruthless advice that has now resurfaced.
Sanders, and his father, ex-NFL star Deion, appeared on a September 2023 edition of Brady's 'Let's Go!' podcast when the topic of cars came up at the very end.
'Tom, do you think a college kid needs a Phantom, a Rolls Royce?', Deion asked.
Shedeur then clarified that he actually had a Cullinan rather than a Phantom, but it made little difference to Brady.
'I think he needs to get his a** in the film room and spend as much time in there as possible and less time in the car,' he said with a grin on his face.
Deion then exclaimed 'Thank you Tom!' before the interview ended.

Close to two years later, Shedeur endured a nightmare NFL Draft as the one-time projected first-rounder waited until the 144th pick to hear his name called.
The former Colorado passer, who reportedly flubbed several of his pre-draft interviews, was ultimately selected by the Cleveland Browns, who also selected rookie Dillon Gabriel in the third round.
Following the quarterback's slide in the draft, much has been made about his approach to the process, in which he did not participate in drills at the NFL Combine.
CBS college football analyst Ross Tucker also shed more light on a ' very unusual' experience with Sanders while he was in college.
Sanders was meant to meet with Tucker in a production meeting last year ahead of CBS' broadcast of a Colorado-Colorado State game.
But as Tucker explained on the Dan Patrick Show last week, Sanders skipped out on the meetings entirely after initially rescheduling due to an injury treatment.
'We weren't really given a reason, but we did not talk to Shedeur at the production meetings, which, as you know, starting quarterback, especially high-profile player like that, very unusual,' Tucker said, before revealing another strange aspect of the story.
'I walk out of the hotel, and there's a pickup truck in front of the hotel, and Shedeur is just sitting in the back of the pickup truck,' he recalled of the day that the meeting was rescheduled to.
'It just made me wonder,' Tucker continued. 'People asked me, NFL people asked me after that game, 'What did you think of Shedeur?' And I said, 'I didn't get to talk to him.' Maybe he's the greatest kid ever, maybe he's a bad kid. I don't know. But I told them the story, and they just kind of nodded their head.'

Tom Brady rips an Eli Manning jersey apart in ultimate act of disrespect towards his former nemesis
Tom Brady brutally trolled his former rival Eli Manning on Friday by ripping his New York Giants jersey in half. The seven-time Super Bowl champion made an appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York City, much to the delight of the thousands of fans in attendance. Brady spoke to some of the crowd at Manhattan's Javits Center before then taking part in a WWE-style performance later on. The Fox commentator came out to the theme song of pro wrestler Cody Rhodes wearing sunglasses and carrying a WWE-style championship belt. But, as he made his way down to the walkway, Brady was presented with a Giants jersey that had 'Manning 10' on the back. The former New England Patriots quarterback then ripped the jersey in half in a playful dig at Manning. Brady's actions prompted Manning, who was watching on, to storm the stage and climb on his rival's back. Their rivalry dates back to their stellar NFL careers, when Manning and the Giants were able to briefly halt the Patriots' dominant run to beat them in two Super Bowls. The Giants stunned Bill Belichick's team to win 17-14 in Arizona in 2008, despite being heavy underdogs after Brady led his men to a perfect 16-0 regular season. Then, four years after, the Patriots were stunned by the Giants again when they were beaten 21-17 in Indianapolis. Manning was named Super Bowl MVP that year. Brady and Manning quickly regained their composure and were later pictured competing against each other in a baseball pitching contest.

NFL WAG Kristin Juszczyk put through grueling workout by husband Kyle
Couples who train together, stay together - that's if San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk and wife Kristin are anything to go by. The fashion designer was put through her paces by her NFL beau Friday when she joined him in a grueling preseason workout. With the 2025 NFL season looming, the fullback began ramping up his preparation, taking to the field to run a series of drills and Kristin joined him for a 'dreaded 'come train with me"' day. Kristin, whose sports-inspired designs blew up after Taylor Swift wore one her custom puffer jackets to a Kansas City Chiefs game, shared a video to Instagram Friday showing her mimicking her husband's workouts to Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger.' The entrepreneur, who married the Niner in 2019, copied Kyle as he tossed a medicine ball over his head and carried out a plank, crunches and sprints among other drills. On the whole, Kristin managed to hold her own, only occasionally losing her balance and failing to launch the weighted ball as far as her partner. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kristin Juszczyk (@kristinjuszczyk) The fashion designer was captured mimicking her NFL beau's tough training regime Social media users were left impressed in the comment section, with one writing: 'Honestly crushed it.' 'He's not taking it easy on you at all lol,' another claimed, while a third added: 'Ok but you held your own during that workout- slaaaayed it!' The couple have endured a turbulent offseason, with Kyle, at one point, appearing likely to return to the Bay Area next season. Kyle was cut by the Niners in March following eight seasons with the team, only for San Francisco to sign him to a new contract just four days later. The 49ers had initially decided to cut Kyle, instead of paying him a $4.1m salary this season and up to an additional $500,000 in offseason workout and per-game roster bonuses. The team took on a $3.6m dead cap charge with the move but brought him back on a new two-year, $8million contract. He was also nearly cut last season but agreed to take a pay cut to stay in San Francisco. Juszczyk began his career with the Baltimore Ravens after they picked him in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The 33-year-old was one of the first players signed after 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch took over in 2017 and has been a key part of the offense since then thanks to his versatility. Kyle faced a turbulent offseason after being cut by the 49ers only to later sign a new deal In an era when few teams use fullbacks, Juszczyk has played about half the offensive snaps during his time with San Francisco and has made the Pro Bowl all eight seasons with the team and nine times overall. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2023 and second-teamer in 2024 after fullbacks were added back as a position for All-Pro the past two years. Juszczyk had 19 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns last season, while also rushing for 26 yards and a touchdown. He has 184 catches for 1,895 yards and 13 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Niners, along with 237 yards rushing and six more touchdowns on the ground.

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson issues lengthy public apology - 'I let you down'
Nicolas Jackson's position at Chelsea is under threat from Liam Delap, and his response to losing his place to the £30m new boy on his birthday was a shocker Nicolas Jackson has issued a public apology after his red card in the FIFA Club World Cup. Chelsea hothead Jackson got his marching orders on his 24th BIRTHDAY just FOUR MINUTES after coming on as a substitute for a shocking X-rated challenge. Jackson entered the field with the score 1-1 in Chelsea's second game of the tournament, against Brazilian side Flamengo. By the time he left the field they were 2-1 down, before going on to lose 3-1 to the side coached by ex-Blues left-back Filipe Luis. After the match, Jackson wrote on instagram: 'I want to say sorry. To the club, the staff, my teammates, and all the fans watching, I let you down. Another red card... and honestly, I'm so angry at myself. 'I work hard every day to help the team not to put us in this kind of situation. I still don't fully understand how it happened. But one thing is clear: it wasn't intentional. Just a football moment that went the wrong way. 'No excuses. I take full responsibility. 'I'll reflect, I'll grow, and I'll come back stronger for the badge and for everyone who believes in me. Sorry. Sorry.' It compounded six minutes of second half madness for Chelsea as Flamengo turned the game on its head and went from 1-0 down to 2-1 up before Jackson got sent off. There was no excuse for his appalling studs-up challenge on Flamengo's Ayrton Lucas which in this competition gets an automatic one game ban which FIFA can review and upgrade. Frankly, they should throw the book at him and it is no wonder that Maresca signed Liam Delap because he cannot trust Jackson. Jackson has so much talent but his reckless temperament makes him a liability and suddenly, from winning their first game, the mood will change in the Chelsea camp. Defender Marc Cucurella revealed he apologised to the players in the dressing room post-game. The Spaniard said: "He's very sad. He tried to win the ball, had the bad luck that he kicked his leg and that's it. He's a young player with a lot of quality but maybe needs to improve a little bit in these things. 'But he has to learn. After the manager spoke, he said sorry, he didn't do it on purpose. He's a very important player for us, we will miss him in the next game but this is football.' Jon Obi Mikel, working for DAZN, was scathing in his assessment. He said: "Unbelievable, a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake. I don't know what was going through his head. Your team needs you and he does that!" "He did that at Newcastle in an important game. He got a red card. And now he's done this again. You can't keep making mistakes like this." Watch the Club World Cup free on DAZN £0 DAZN Get DAZN here Product Description Asked whether Jackson could have been frustrated at losing his place to Delap, Mikel responded: "I don't care what his frustration is (Delap starting). This is a massive football club and it's about competition. "If you're angry or p****d off, then you have to embrace it. We need competition." DAZN presenter Kelly Somers apologised for the choice of language from Mikel. But going back to the incident later on, Mikel added: "Jackson needs to have a word with himself, where do you want to go with your Chelsea career?"
