35 Fun Things To Treat Yourself To This Summer

Buzz Feed07-06-2025

A 3-in-1 Lego set with everything you need to build three summer-ready critters. The 288-piece set can be rearranged to make a flamingo, axolotl, or cockatoo, which can be moved into different poses. Costing less than $25, it's a pretty solid deal compared to most Lego kits.
Pickle cashews because real brineheads know that literally anything tastes better with a little dill and garlic flavoring. Warning: Only open this bag if you're prepared to eat all 5 ounces because reviewers say these are capital T tasty.
A brick-shaped mold so you can found your own sand construction company and start building beach-front properties. Pack wet sand into the cube and pop out bricks that will give your castles a little more structural integrity. And after beach season, you can use this mold again to make snow chalets!
A set of 10 retractable Crayola markers, which honestly should have always existed. How many of us suffered the fate of losing a marker cap or attempted to color only to find the red has completely dried out? Kids these days have it easy — just click and a fresh marker tip pops out, ready for art.
Medicube Turmeric Overnight Wrapping Peel Off Mask boosted with kojic acid, hydrolyzed collagen, vitamin C, and turmeric to help reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots, even skin tone, and add a little bounce. Apply the mask with a brush, get some beauty sleep, and awake to see the gift of ✨ glowing skin ✨ — just unwrap (peel off) and enjoy. ;)
A miniature Stanley tape measurer keychain so you no longer have to wonder how tall something is and try to guesstimate with your hands. This would come in clutch when furniture shopping or calling out a date for lying about their height (JK, JK).
A set of itty bitty vintage-inspired spoons — if these aren't cottagecore, I don't know what is. Set them out at your next tea party and let the compliments roll in. Praise for your good taste? Sweeter than two lumps of sugar.
A clay charm kit so you can begin your foray into jewelry design. It comes with a metal bracelet, findings, and enough clay to make up to 35 different charms. Is it Pandora? NO it's Klutz.
A Flamingo Estate candle whose smell can best be described as "sticking your nose directly in a pile of tomatoes at the farmers market." The fragrance is fresh, herbaceous, peppery, and PERFECT for summer.
A pack of glittery paint pens to add some razzle-dazzle to your crafts. Phone cases, furniture, rocks from outside — nothing will be safe from the glitter ray once you see how deliciously smooth and pigmented these things are.
Teeny-tiny onigiri vases who look thrilled by the opportunity to hold your new clippings and flower buds. Each smiling rice ball is handcrafted, so they're all unique.
A viral "Soft" perfume rollerball for anyone who wants people to think of them and think "yum." Reviewers compare this ~$5 fragrance to caramel, lemon cupcakes, warm vanilla scones, and cotton candy.
An ACOTAR hair claw featuring all the published books from everyone's favorite steamy romantasy series. Unlike other novelty clips, this one is still shaped like a traditional claw, meaning it can actually hold up thick hair — probably even Lucien's luscious locks!
An expanding file folder you can fill with up to 200 pieces of paper and free up sooo much desk space. As an accordion folder follower, I have to say these things are top-notch for organizing everything from restaurant menus to ticket stubs.
Reusable water balloons if you're sick of every balloon fight ending with little pieces of plastic littering your lawn. The silicone balls self-seal when filled with water and explode on contact.
A pretty ribbed bikini that's so cute, mermaids will come out of the ocean just to compliment you. It comes in a TON of colors, so good luck picking just one!
Liquid I.V. electrolyte drink mix in a variety of exciting, summer-ready flavors ranging from watermelon to pina colada. Besides being delicious, the electrolyte powder is formulated to help hydrate faster than plain water. It also just tastes good so you might be more likely to drink more in general.
Sour blue raspberry gushers for masochist snackers who think their tongue has had it way too easy. One reviewer says these are 4–5 levels MORE sour than Sour Skittles. 🫣
A can of whipped crea— I mean, sunscreen that just looks like dessert, so don't eat it, OK? This tasty-looking skincare will make you feel like a cherry pie instead of looking like one (baked and bright red).
Laneige's Neo Blurring Powder, a low-maintenance option for makeup minimalists who want a matte, yet still radiant, complexion. It absorbs oil and blurs pores, leaving your face as glowy as a forest nymph.
An acrylic grid box for your tiniest treasures. The clear design ensures that your discoveries can be properly viewed, like a miniature museum. And if you fill it with sea glass, it'll create a stained-glass effect when you hold it up to the light!
A pack of *limited edition* fabric Band-Aids with such fun, summery patterns, you'll find yourself actually wanting to get a paper cut just so you can wear one.
A beeswax tulip candle that looks so much like the real thing, you could probably prank your guests when you light it up. I, for one, would never dare to set something so pretty on fire — it's going under a bell jar, Beauty and the Beast-style, forever.
A glow-in-the-dark capture the flag game sure to be a hit on temperate nights. This game can accommodate two teams of five and is great for all ages, so even your neighbors can join the fun.
Groovy Fruit, a summery variation from the beloved NeeDoh fidget toy line. The orange, banana, and strawberry toys are non-sticky and have the *perfect* amount of give, securing themselves a place in the stress ball hall of fame.
A miniature stapler-in-gelatin set, which may very well be in the running for best office decor ever. It comes with a lil' book of Office quotes and a recreation of Jim's aspic prank, which plays quotes when pressed. Slam the button whenever you need a quick "That's what she said!" from Michael Scott.
Lottabody Wrap Me Curl Mousse, a whipped-cream-like delight that defines curls, moisturizes with shea and coconut oil, and tackles frizz. The foam makes it super easy to distribute throughout your hair, and the heavenly scent will make you feel like you're on a tropical vacation.
Mama Teav's Hot Garlic Chili Crisp sure to become your go-to condiment this summer. Throw it on pizza, chicken sandwiches, salads, fries...dare I say...ice cream? Reviewers love the flavor and the fact it's free of sugar, soy, gluten, or other common allergens.
A magnetic meal planning pad with a super cute, summery design and detachable shopping list so you don't have to hem and haw about what to make for dinner. If you plan out the whole week in advance, maybe you'll finally be able to finish an entire bag of spinach!
A pack of self-heating lavender eye masks to help you get in the zone and let off some steam if upcoming summer travel plans, that one broken AC, an ant infestation, etc., have got you STRESSED! Just open, pop one on, and it'll heat up to 113 degrees — no microwave needed. Reviewers note that these are also great for headache relief.
A giant bubble kit with a two-handle wand so you can all compete to make the biggest bubble. Just make sure no one tries to trap the dog in a soap ball prison.
A high-end bottle of Takesan Kishibori soy sauce if you ever want to learn what you're missing by sticking with grocery store brands. No offense to Kikkoman, but this elevated sauce from Shodoshima, Japan offers a richer, more complex flavor that has happy reviewers pledging their allegiance.
A floating cabana, so now any pool can have a swim-up bar. The nearly 6-foot-long inflatable offers shade, drink holders, and places for your ice or ingredients. With such a legit setup, I wouldn't blame you if you charged your guests for drinks.
An alarmingly adorable capybara night-light to keep you company on sleepy summer evenings. Just bop your new silicone friend on the head to toggle through seven different colors and three dimness settings. And if you opt for the flower version, it comes with two different buds to hold. 🥹
A swimsuit with ruched sides and drawstrings that allow you to customize your fit, sort of like a corset. Reviewers like that the strings can change how much coverage you get, so you can adjust the look throughout the day.
Phoenix and Miles sticky notes in case arguments with your roommate have left the passive-aggressive text stage and have entered a full-on aggressive realm that could be compared to a legal battle. Buy one for yourself and one for your opponent so you can duke out the case of "whose turn is it to do the dishes?"
And L-shaped scissors so you can easily slice through all the gifts from Summer Santa coming your way. The Japanese stainless steel blades are designed to create the perfect angle that can glide through everything from cardboard to annoying plastic clamshell packaging. Thank you, Summer Santa! Your generosity knows no bounds.
Me when I realize that I have to buy my own lil' gifts until December:

Coincidences Mind-Blowing Images

Coincidences, glitches in the matrix, coinkydinks — whatever one prefers to call them — happen all the time! Luckily, in this day and age, people often take photos of these strange moments to share with the world. From perfectly-timed birds to matching cars, here are 19 mind-bending coincidences that left me SPEECHLESS: These trees perfectly match the building colors: This person bought a LEGO car set, then saw the actual car in the store's parking lot: A talented pigeon pooped this self-portrait: Not too crappy for a bird... This hiker literally found the Clif bar cliff: This Redditor wrote, "I'm a woodturner and found a lovely bowl in a vintage store, made by the guy who inspired me as a kid. On closer inspection, I felt the bowl was very familiar, so I flipped through the very book that inspired me 31 years ago, and there it was!" This person captured the exact moment a dragonfly ate the mosquito that was getting ready to bite them: This person caught an injured fish, then captured the same fish a few weeks later: This person noticed the stoplight and the sun perfectly matched each other: These broken neon signs that matched each other perfectly: These eggs look like the "Yin-Yang" symbol: This cat's (whose name is Bo) owner realized that her name was spelled on her back: This person found a dog toy that nearly matched their husband's tattoo: This pebble got perfectly stuck in the bottom of someone's shoe: This kitty found some camouflage: If you thought you saw a cat, no, you didn't... These one-eyed toads showed up at the exact same time: "One-eyed toads" would be an epic band name... This person received these $20 bills in sequential order: This tomato that somehow grew inside a fence post: This would make a fantastic wizard staff... This person found themself in identical drive-through lines: And finally, this person's recording studio burned down, and this album was (eerily) one of the only things that was left behind: Here's a closer look at the album name: Did any of these coincidences surprise you? Let us know in the comments! H/T: r/nevertellmetheodds and r/mildlyinteresting

36 Underrated Products That Will Become The Light Of Your Life

An absurdly darling pink Lego typewriter that has different build options — you can also turn it into a flowery "keytar" instrument and a sweet little flowerpot with a writing pad and pen. (But honestly, I've imprinted on that pink typewriter so hard that if I hear about any of you making something else, I'm gonna cry some big Barbie tears.) Dove's Coconut Milk & Sugar Lychee Body Wash so moisturizing, gentle, and decadently-scented that you're going to feel fully transported to your ~happy place~ every time you lather it on. This is especially lovely for sensitive skin, since the plant milk base is nutrient-rich and sulfate-free to keep your skin feeling eeextra soft and loved. Kitsch's new "Ultra Petite" Satin Scrunchies for anyone who loves the hair-protective style of satin, but wants a lower profile than the big billowing versions. These are super gentle and prevent creasing, but still have an all-day firm hold. E.l.f.'s Blue-ty Sleep Night Oil reviewers LOVE as an alternative to the pricier versions — this overnight face oil is formulated with 1% granactive retinoid and blueberry extract for the geeentlest boost to help reduce fine lines, plump skin, and tone your complexion without drying you out or compromising your skin barrier. It also absorbs beautifully and is super lightweight, so it'll play nice with the rest of your skincare routine. A light up solar frog figurine for your garden or porch so when you come home from that "just one drink" dinner past midnight, this croaky lil' fella can lovingly judge you for it. A set of limited edition Band-Aids with retro flower patterns so the next time you get a little ouch, you can be like, "wound care, but make it fashion." A set of Honey Rosemary Moscow Mule tea bags — all the sophistication of tea and the 😜 of a cheeky cocktail, without all the extra sugar to throw you out of whack. All you have to do is add three ounces of cold water, 1.5 ounces of hard liquor, and the tea sachet into a glass, and you'll have a delicious (far more AFFORDABLE!!) cocktail in one minute. A set of Tide Sink Packs you can use to do laundry right in the sink when you need to hand wash delicate items and lay them to dry. Reviewers also love these for traveling! A reusable, family-friendly sand eraser to *instantly* remove sand from your skin with a quick swipe so you don't accidentally turn your unsuspecting car interiors into "Beach, Part Two." A travel-friendly SPF 50 Airy Sunstick Smoothing Bar, a K-beauty staple with a curved balm stick style that makes it super easy to apply, and a non-sticky, white cast-free formula that plays ABSURDLY well with makeup. If you're looking for a lightweight "soft matte" sunscreen to protect your skin, this is your new BFF. Biofreeze's new Dry Stick for "portable pain relief" — this mess-free, cooling solution for aches and pains all over your human body, whether it's your neck, shoulders, knees, hands, or many numerous joints. Its targeted menthol relief also works *fast* and is delightfully travel-friendly, unlike competing menthol creams. A set of earthy pastel knives to add some quiet calm and downright shocking functionality to your kitchen — reviewers are in love with how sharp, efficient, and easy to handle these blades are, not to mention how easy they are to clean. Eos Cashmere Vanilla Cashmere Whipped Oil Body Butter — yes, that's right, the astronomically TikTok-famous Eos "cashmere" body lotion now comes in a luxurious body butter form, and it's every bit as decadent as it sounds. Now you can spend all your self-care nights fully moisturized in a cloud of whipped vanilla, musk, and soft caramel. A pair of cheerful, super lightweight boxer-style shorts so comfy and adorable that you are about to put your denim shorts on notice for the rest of the year — especially since these are a MUCH cheaper alternative to the $98 Reformation version. A 2-in-1 nausea relief inhaler designed to work FAST on spontaneous nausea, motion sickness, morning sickness, and general queasiness (having a human body is hard). You can either use it as a scent inhaler or rub it directly on the tip of your nose for relief. A delightfully affordable wireless bottle lamp to convert bottles into a cheeky light fixture, so your favorite wine can literally ~light up your life~, or you can preserve a bottle from a special occasion as part of your decor. This also makes an excellent gift to pair with a bottle of something yummy! A guided visual "breathing partner" you can use for meditation and calm to shift your mindset. This is designed to guide you through either the popular 4/7/8 or 5/5 "calming breaths" to help reduce stress and anxiety, using colors that fade in and out softly as cues. Bonus: it's kid friendly! A set of hair-tie bracelets designed to look like *actual* jewelry, so you won't be kicking yourself when you realize you left a hair tie on your wrist for every photo. A nonslip wire-free strapless bra so comfy that you might be like, "Wait — am I wearing a bra??" halfway through the day. This will be your wardrobe's BFF for all your dresses and shirts with fun necklines! The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum for anyone whose skin occasionally goes 🔥 when its barrier has been compromised. This blend of niacinamide, vitamin B12, and lipids helps to soothe and hydrate irritated skin to reduce the redness and restore your skin's happy glow. A decadently soft striped oversize lounge set nearly identical to a popular mall brand version and so ridiculously comfy and breathable that you'll change your LinkedIn profile to "Lounge Hound" for the rest of the year. Physicians Formula Butter Glow & Go Stick for a smooth, rich, and ridiculously easy-to-apply contour to give your skin that ~sunkissed~ glow with as little effort as possible. This dual-ended stick is the definition of no muss, no fuss, and so versatile that when you're not using them on the go, you'll love experimenting with all the different ways you can make a subtle colorful *pop*. An adorable clear waterproof sunscreen bag to keep your various SPFs for easy access when you need to protect yourself from the sun's shenanigans, and to keep the rest of your stuff safe if one of your sunscreens bottles decides to go ~kaboom~. A — be still my hydrated heart — teensy 14-ounce Stanley Cup for the days when you aren't Big Thirsty, but Little Thirsty, and don't want to haul around a brick of water with you. Reviewers love this for traveling and so their littles can having matching Stanley cups with their big ones! Dae's Hair Cactus Fruit 3-In-1 Styling Cream & Taming Wand, which is basically the brand's "holy grail," TikTok-famous styling cream in the form of a mascara wand. This versatile lil' tool helps you carefully target flyaways, style edges, and smooth frizz. A set of six rustic-style ceramic ramekins so versatile that you'll be putting them to WORK. Not only can you use these in your oven or air fryer to cook in smaller portions for lava cakes and egg bakes, but you can use them to serve ice cream, yogurt parfaits, dips, and snacks. A crinkle cutter tool for veggies, fruit, potatoes, and cheese that not only makes meal prep a breeze, but makes certain foods more enticing for the picky eaters in the fam. Everyone knows a squiggly-shaped thing tastes better than a regular shape ... it's just science! A reversible vintage-inspired floral bathing suit with adjustable, oh-so-sweet bow straps that are almost too cute to exist. Like, spare some cuteness for the rest of the beach, will you?? An exfoliating Italian Bergamot Body Bar from Cremo, aka the brand that went TikTok viral for its $10 Baccarat Rouge 540-inspired body wash (I am, in fact, a VERY large fan). This luxury body soap is so richly-layered, deeply hydrating, and gives such a satisfying lather that OOPS, you won't want use another version ever again. A truly gargantuan but lightweight striped beach bag that holds so many of your shenanigans that you'll feel like you opened a hole in the time-space-tote-bag continuum. Truly a lot of audacity for it to be so boho chic and affordable on TOP of all that!! An "invisible" magnetized dry-erase board so you can organize all your family's chaos and still be unexpectedly stylish about it. "We need more toilet paper," but make it ✨chic. ✨ A square-neck compressive body suit that's basically 10 outfits in one — you can rock it solo, wear it as a bodysuit tucked into jeans, or pair it with a hoodie or a jacket. Go, little base layer, gooooo! A cheery little "Buttercup" butter maker so you can make delicious butter in less than five (!!) minutes and enter a cottagecore era unlike any you've ever known. Time to impress your friends by gifting them with small batch butters in garlic, honey, truffle, and all kiiiinds of flavors you haven't even fathomed yet. A super lightweight, loose-fitting, high-neck muscle tank for fans of the Lululemon version at a *much* lower price point. This is a breezy *dream* thanks to the quick-dry fabric, the cross-over pleat in the back, and the slight petal hem at the bottom. A ridiculously plush beanbag chair that everyone should legally be mandated to own as a Rot Chair — aka the chair you put yourself in timeout in to either read, watch Netflix on your laptop, or contemplate the meaning of your existence all weekend long. A Grim Steeper silicone tea infuser to remind you that life is, in fact, too short to skip on your delicious morning cuppa.

LEGO Joins Early Prime Day With Star Wars Millennium Falcon at a New Record-Low Price

Star Wars fans are, historically, pretty committed to what they love. It makes them incredibly easy to buy presents for, because basically anything that's related to Star Wars is a good shout, and it's going to be really well received too. It can be hard to find a quality gift though, whether you're looking for yourself or someone else. These days, one of the best gifts you can give any of them, outside of a trip to Disney World, is a good Lego set. See at Amazon Lego sets hold their value well though, which means it can be hard to get them for a more reasonable price. Thankfully, a good set goes on sale here and there, and right now, that means that you can get this Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon while it's just $68. That's a 20% discount on the normal price, and that's a small price to pay for a 25th anniversary collectable. Piece By Piece The Millennium Falcon is undoubtedly one of the most iconic spaceships of any film ever. There's just no denying it, and anyone who tries is either lying or just trying to wind you up, so keep that in mind if they try and argue. It's iconic because it's integral to the original Star Wars trilogy, and it's the mighty ship of Han Solo, who is cooler than Luke Skywalker in every possible way. This Lego set lets you quite literally build your own one up from scratch, and once you've spent a few evenings putting together this 921-piece Lego set, you'll have an amazing model of the Falcon to admire forever more. This is a gift that gives at least twice. The first one is the chance to actually build the Lego set, but from then on, it's just an incredibly cool model you get to enjoy every time you see it. It's an incredible sight on its own, but it's also a gateway into more gifts later on if you decide to grab more of the Star Wars ships to build, or just any other great Lego model. This makes for an incredible present or impulse buy, whether you're getting it for a younger Star Wars fan or an older one. Given that it's normally $85 too, being able to pick it up for $68 instead is a deal worth making the most of. We don't know how long the deal will last, but it's a good one, so we don't recommend waiting too long. See at Amazon
