Nintendo Switch 2 UK stock live: Consoles available at Amazon now

It's now been two weeks since the Nintendo Switch 2 launched, and stock is still vanishing fast. Amazon currently has both the standalone console and the Mario Kart World bundle available, but as always, there's no telling how long they'll stick around.
EE continues to offer the console to existing customers, while ShopTo now has the Switch 2 available for next-day delivery. That's rare, given how quickly stock has been disappearing elsewhere.
This week, we've also seen fresh restocks at both Game and the My Nintendo Store, but both sold out quickly. I'm updating this page with the latest stock updates and Nintendo Switch 2 news, so keep checking back. This is the only stock checker you need.
Nintendo Switch 2 specs
The Switch 2 might look familiar, but there's a lot going on underneath. It's powered by a new custom Nvidia chip, so games don't just load faster, they look better and run more smoothly. You get 12GB of RAM (up from 4GB on the original Switch), and most of that goes straight into powering games, not just background stuff.
The screen is still LCD, not OLED, but it's bigger at 7.9in and has 1080p resolution. It supports HDR and a 120Hz refresh rate. Colours pop more, and motion looks buttery-smooth in handheld mode. There's also DLSS upscaling built in, so older games look better. Sadly, while it supports variable refresh rates, it doesn't work when docked – just in handheld mode.
Nintendo Switch 2 price
The Nintendo Switch 2 on its own costs £399.99, and the main bundle with Mario Kart World costs £429.99. Buying the bundle saves you £40 compared to picking up the game separately, so it's better value if you're planning to grab it anyway.
No big discounts yet – it hasn't even been out a month, after all – but some retailers have larger, more expensive bundles. These include the new Switch 2 camera (£49, Amazon.co.uk), the Pro controller (£74.99, Very.co.uk) and the official carry case and screen protector (£20.99, Amazon.co.uk), as well as extra games and accessories.
Nintendo Switch 2 launch games
There are plenty of new Nintendo Switch 2 games at launch. Mario Kart World is the big one, but you've also got upgraded versions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, plus mammoth games like Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition and Hogwarts Legacy – two games that really test the console's muscle.
Other launch day games include Hades 2, Split Fiction, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Street Fighter 6, Survival Kids and Suikoden I & II HD Remaster. You've also got Yakuza 0: Director's Cut, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Deltarune Chapters 1–4, plus more niche picks like Fantasy Life i and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD. Civilization VII and No Man's Sky are here too, and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour acts as a mini showcase for the new hardware.
On top of that, loads of older Nintendo titles have been patched with free performance updates, and Wind Waker, F-Zero GX and Soul Calibur II are now available through the new Switch Online GameCube library.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller is a big step up from the original, but it has been selling out as quickly as the console itself. It finally has two re-mappable triggers on the back, there's a built-in a headphone jack for a wired headset, and there's a C button for GameChat. Right now, the only place where you can buy one is at Amazon.
When you finally get your Nintendo Switch 2, you'll notice that you won't be able to slot your current microSD cards in and play your existing games. While you can transfer them over from your OG Switch to the new one, you'll need a microSD Express card, not the regular one. The official product from Nintendo and SanDisk gives you an extra 256GB of storage and costs £49.99.

Dyson has achieved two impossible feats: making me thrilled about the idea of tidying the floor, and inventing the world's slimmest vacuum. I'm not sure which is more impressive. 10 It's called the PencilVac, and I've had a go with it behind closed doors at Dyson's Oxfordshire labs. Before I even grabbed the thing, I was blown away. Surely this is just a broom in disguise? Is Sir James Dyson having me on? It measures a frankly ludicrous 38mm across. That's about three Dairy Milk bars stacked on top of each other. BIN-CREDIBLE! All of the usual Dyson tech – the batteries, bin, and motor – has been crammed into the handle. So you've got battery cells at the top, followed by the computer system, then a shrunken motor that's Dyson's fastest yet. Next comes the bin, which uses a new compression system to fit five times more dust than its apparent 0.08-litre capacity. After all, Dyson tells me that most of a 'full' bin is usually air – so there's plenty of room for squashing. Then there's a dust separation mechanism, brush bars, and a Fluffycones cleaner head with a cone design that shifts long hair off to the side – so it can be sucked back up instead of requiring you to cut it out with scissors. You don't see most of this, of course. PencilVac just looks like a Dyson that's been hitting the treadmill. I'LL Naturally it all sounds like a vacuum cleaning dream, so I grab the handle and away I go. Helping this image is a built-in laser that exposes dirt and debris. It's the vacuuming equivalent of night vision goggles and a red-dot sight. I dart between objects with stunning agility. I was born to do this. The room fades away. I daydream about running off with it, and living out my days as a kind of vacuuming sensei, cleaning the most complicated floor-spaces I can find. But I can't become Dyson's Mr Miyagi just yet, because the PencilVac isn't out until 2026, and still doesn't have a UK price. I've wanted to make a vacuum like the Dyson PencilVac for many years. But it required us to miniaturise everything about the product – which is a huge task. The diameter of our hair tools was the inspiration. Through lots of research, we realised that 38mm is the optimal size for most people to hold, and so this was the diameter chosen for our hair tools like the Supersonic hair dryer and Airwrap multi-styler and dryer. In order to fit it in the handle of the machine, we had to reengineer every component of the motor – down to the micron – while increasing its speed to 140,000RPM and maximising its power density for high-performance. It was clear that we couldn't use cyclones for the dust separation, because they were too big for the 38mm diameter, so we had to develop something entirely new. The new slim, in-line format meant we could use dust compression technology in a small diameter, but over a long area to maximise the bin capacity, all while ensuring effective filtration performance and no loss of suction. What was the biggest challenge to overcome in building the PencilVac? Developing the new Fluffycones cleaner head was perhaps the greatest challenge we faced – but also the most rewarding! We wanted to develop a cleaner head that would detangle hair, clean right up to skirting boards, and pick up dust and debris in all directions – a cleaner head that would solve many frustrations with existing cleaner heads. The new Fluffycones cleaner head features four conical brush bars. The challenge was engineering the drive system to ensure that all four cones, which are powered by two motors and four epicyclic gear boxes, spin at the same, consistent speed while maintaining its 7.5-degree angle for optimal pick-up performance. I'm delighted not only that we managed this, but in doing so made a vacuum cleaner which is a joy to use. Who do you see PencilVac being the perfect vacuum cleaner for? Robots are whirring through a 2.8 million-square-foot Amazon facility. The company says the bots are here to help, not replace. Amazon recently began shipping orders from its new $300 million robotics fulfillment center in Charlton, Massachusetts, the company confirmed to The four-story facility houses cutting-edge tech, including hundreds of autonomous machines capable of lifting up to 1,500 pounds. They work alongside more than 1,000 full-time employees to get books, electronics, and toys into delivery trucks. It's the largest such facility in the state. Amazon expects it will generate around $65.5 million in local revenue. But the rollout comes amid a wave of job security anxiety because of AI — and even Amazon's top brass admits the shift won't be painless.
