Demaryius Thomas elected to Broncos Ring of Fame
The Broncos will be honoring the late Demaryius Thomas this season.
The team announced on Tuesday that Thomas has been elected to the team's Ring of Fame. The wide receiver will be the 38th inductee when he enters the group during halftime of a Week Seven game against the Giants.
Thomas spent over eight seasons with the Broncos after joining the team as a 2010 first-round pick. Thomas was a member of the Super Bowl 50 champions while in Denver and some of his teammates will be on hand for the 10th anniversary celebration of that win.
'Demaryius Thomas' election to the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame — in his first year of eligibility — is a testament to the indelible mark he left on our organization and community,' team owners Greg Penner and Carrie Walton Penner said in a statement. 'One of the most beloved players and greatest wide receivers in franchise history, Demaryius inspired our fans with breathtaking athleticism, record-setting performances and a joyful, infectious spirit. While we wish 'D.T.' was with us to celebrate this special moment, we look forward to honoring Demaryius alongside his Super Bowl 50 teammates during an unforgettable Alumni Weekend.'
Thomas holds the Broncos' single-season receiving yard record and is second in career receiving yards in franchise history. He died in 2021 at the age of 33.

Giants Linked To Potential Trade With NL Club For $15 Million Infielder
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The San Francisco Giants have been one of the better teams in the league this season, but they still have room to improve their roster. With that in mind, the Giants swung a shocking trade to acquire superstar designated hitter Rafael Devers. Bringing in Devers helps to close the gap on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the loaded National League West. But a little bit of a gap still remains, so San Francisco is going to need to be aggressive. But the Giants might not be done there. In fact, they will likely remain aggressive at the trade deadline. They're still reportedly monitoring trade targets this month. Bob Nightengale of USA Today recently linked the Giants to Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa in a potential trade this season. PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA - JUNE 4: Adam Frazier #26 of the Pittsburgh Pirates celebrates with Isiah Kiner-Falefa #7 after the final out in a 3-0 win over the Houston Astros during the game at PNC Park... PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA - JUNE 4: Adam Frazier #26 of the Pittsburgh Pirates celebrates with Isiah Kiner-Falefa #7 after the final out in a 3-0 win over the Houston Astros during the game at PNC Park on June 4, 2025 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. More"The New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants are keeping a close eye on versatile Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who should be available at the trade deadline," Nightengale wrote. Kiner-Falefa, 30, has put together a solid campaign on offense, though it hasn't been excellent. His main calling is his defense, leadership, and positional versatility. The Giants have a loaded left side of the infield with Willy Adames and Matt Chapman locked up for the long term. Having Devers adds some depth to the infield, too. But adding Kiner-Falefa would give them depth all around the field. The veteran can play nearly anywhere on the field, including the right side of the infield and the outfield. This is the kind of trade that would fit the Giants this season. It's something they could afford to do, both prospect-wise and financially. New twist to racing in the rain: Crash leaves IMSA driver without a windshield at Watkins Glen
Drivers in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Series are accustomed to driving in the rain — but not in the literal sense. That was the situation that TDS Racing driver Steven Thomas found himself nearly an hour into the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. After a head-on collision with the LMP2 of No. 52 driver Rodrigo Sales (VIDEO ABOVE), Thomas was pulling away in his No. 11 ORECA LMP2 07 when he realized the raindrops were inside the cockpit. The crash impact had ripped away the windshield of Thomas' car, whose wipers continued to operate in thin air. 'I didn't realize the windshield was gone until I started to drive away, and I was feeling the rain, and I was like, 'Oh, I have no windshield,' ' Thomas told NBC Sports' Chris Wilner on Peacock. 'I'm fine. It's just a shame for both Rodrigo and me that happened in the rain, but not a lot you could do there.' The incident started when Sales spun in Turn 9 on a restart at Watkins Glen International after a sudden downpour dampened large sections of the 11-turn, 3.4-mile road course. 'Basically what happened on the restart, I got pushed in the left rear, at which point I was 180 degrees,' Sales said. 'Then I knew it was a horrible place to be stopped. I just saw cars coming around the corner. Quite a few made it around. Sometimes it's impossible to see though, so it looked like I saw a flash of yellow – the TDS P2 car – and it was a huge impact. The car is toast unfortunately. It's a shame, but it's racing. Tricky conditions. It is what it is.' Thomas said his vision was obscured by a GT car just in front of him. 'When the GT car went left, that's the first time I saw Rodrigo literally 10 feet in front of me,' Thomas said. 'There was literally nowhere to go. When the GT car went left, it looked like Rodrigo was driving at me.' Sales retired from the race, and Thomas' car still had yet to return to the track 51 laps later (and if and when it did, the car certainly would be equipped with a new windshield). The third endurance race of the IMSA season continues live on Peacock. Nate Ryan,
