Deal of the Day: Ring Battery Doorbell is at its lowest price ever
Amazon Prime Day 2025 is coming next month, but that doesn't mean you have to wait until July to find a good deal. Take the newest Ring Battery Doorbell for example: it's at its lowest price ever right now at 50% off for Amazon Prime members.
Ring makes some of our favorite home security cameras, and this video doorbell is relatively easy to set up and simple to use.
Deal of the day: Ring Battery Doorbell deal
This Ring doorbell launched last year and has a few notable improvements over the previous version. The big one is 66% more vertical video coverage, making it easier to see the full profile of who is at your door. Like previous versions, it has motion detection, color night vision and two-way talk. You can view a live feed and change your settings in the Ring app, but features like video history and package alerts require a Ring subscription.
It comes with a new push-pin mount so you can more easily remove it from the wall when it's time to recharge the battery. But it also comes with hardwiring equipment if you'd prefer a more permanent installation.

Amazon slashes price of 'massive and brilliant' paddling pool big enough for adults
The hunt for the ultimate summer bargain is on, as shoppers are snapping up a self-erecting paddling pool that has been hailed as "a heatwave saviour." The Intex Easy Set Up 10 Foot Pool has seen its price slashed by 20%, with the new £42.99 price tag significantly lower than the original £53. Ideal for both kids and adults, this 10ft wide by 30 inches deep round pool is perfect for keeping the whole family entertained through the warmer months. Thanks to its three-layer reinforced material construction, it's promoted as puncture-proof and robust, ready to handle a full season of fun. Featuring a 'fill and rise' system, the above-ground pool simply expands as water is added after inflating the top ring. For money-saving tips, sign up to our Money newsletter here With its straightforward setup, those sweltering at home could be taking the plunge by tomorrow if they take advantage of next-day delivery options available to Amazon Prime subscribers. Inflating a paddling pool often feels like a daunting task, however, Amazon claims that it only takes about five minutes to inflate the ring, and filling the pool with water can be done in 40 minutes, reports Nottinghamshire Live. Alongside the pool itself, buyers receive a filter pump, protective cover and even a repair patch kit for any tears. Although designed for children six years and older, the pool is also a breeze to drain and fold away when the summer sun sets. If you're eager to make a splash without waiting for delivery, Argos has the Funsicle Round Frame 10ft Pool available for £150. While it's a bit pricier, this pool boasts a sturdy snap-in frame, making it an ideal semi-permanent addition to any garden and can accommodate up to five people. For those with larger outdoor spaces, the Large Bestway Framed Pool is a steal, reduced from £159 to just £64.99. It's available in three sizes so you can choose how big you want it. Amazon's Intex 10 Foot Pool is proving popular, with a glowing 4.3 out of five stars from over 36,000 reviews. A pleased customer shared: "This is a fantastic pool, massive and brilliant. Price wise I think this is really good value compared to paddling pools, because it is so much better and I feel sure it will be reusable for years." Another satisfied purchaser remarked: "It's an instant fun pool. I know it sounds simple, but it was fantastic on a hot day, and my teenagers spent hours sitting in it, sipping drinks and chatting." A third pleased customer shared their satisfaction with the product, saying: "We got tired of having to replace the children's garden pool every few years because of both punctures and unattractive discolouration of the plastic. These Intex pools seemed of much stronger, durable design." Yet, not all feedback was glowing, as one buyer left a two-star review, voicing their issues: "The top is constantly deflating, within 2 weeks the top is deformed and sometimes the top is flipped over and the water spills, so I have to rush to lift it up." Nonetheless, the Intex pool has largely been met with approval. One particularly thrilled reviewer gave a five-star rating, stating: "I bought this as a replacement for our family holiday to Spain. (Thanks Covid-19) If you're drunk enough, and the sun is hot enough, it's like being on holiday. As pools go, this one is nothing short of fantastic. Get one."

‘Super effective' hands-free portable neck fan keeps you cool on your commute
Amazon has slashed 17% off the 'super effective' hands-free neck fan thats a godsend for keeping you cool and comfortable whilst working or commuting in the heatwave From sweating on your commute to overheating at your desk, the heatwave can be a nightmare to navigate for workers. Handheld fans are great for a quick fix but leave you with just one hand free, whilst portable fans can be a pain to carry around with you. So when we spotted the Kouric Neck Fan with Cooling Plate on Amazon, we knew it was an instant must-have for working in the summer. The clever neck fan blasts cool air around your face, neck and head without needing to constantly hold anything up, leaving you with both hands free to use your phone, carry your bags or even steady yourself on your commute. Ordinarily priced at £35.98, it's also currently on sale with 17% off, slashing the price to £29.98, making now the perfect time to get your hands on it. Plus Amazon Prime members can get it delivered the next day, so you don't need to spend another moment overheating on the train. There are some more budget-friendly options to pick from too if you'd rather. At Boots you can pick up the Menopause & Me Wearable Neck Fan priced at £15.99, or Argos has the £15 Menkind BeCool Bladeless Neck Fan in Black. The Kouric Neck Fan with Cooling Plate simply sits around the back of your neck, kind of how a travel pillow would, and has small fans built in all the way around it. These blast cool air directly onto your neck and face, with three different cooling temperatures to choose from which can cool you down to as low as 15 degrees, and there are five different speed settings too. It's fully portable so you can wear it on public transport, sitting at your desk, even walking around on holiday or at somewhere like Disneyland. It also reaches all the way around your face and neck so you get cool air from all angles, with 12 different colourways to choose from. There's an LED display on the Kouric Neck Fan with Cooling Plate too so you can keep an eye on things like battery levels and what settings you're on. It has a fast-charging USB charging port so you can have it ready to go in no time, and has between three and 19.5 hours battery life depending on which settings you're using. It's also got great reviews from Amazon shoppers too, with one saying: 'Mums menopause gift, my mum has been getting it really tough with hot flushes during menopause. I had googled to see what I could do to help her and neck fans was actually recommended. I can confirm she has been very happy and uses it while working from home when she feels one coming on. It's also great to use in general in the heat wave we had recently.' Another wrote: 'I was just looking for a neck fan and didn't even know what a cooling plate was, its super effective at cooling me down. Cannit wait to take this on holiday. Hands free comfort. Saves carrying a mini fan around.' Some were less impressed, with one saying: 'It does as it says on the box, and does it well. Generates much cold air. Battery life is dependent on which settings you found it a bit bulky and uncomfortable to wear. Takes around 3 hours to recharge.' Another simply said: 'Not silent.' However others loved it, writing: 'We got one of the cheap neck fans without the cooling plate, but this makes such a real difference. We grabbed another after testing our first.'
