'I tested Amazon's top-selling Belissima Styler and the results surprised me'
Shopping Writer Meghan has got her hands on this Bellissima Air Styler that's one of Amazon's top-selling hairstyling tools - putting it to the test, she says she 'was not expecting these results'
As someone who was born with naturally very curly hair, I never had to learn how to create curls with heated tools - if I wanted to rock curly hair on any given day, I'd just leave my hair dry naturally and be done.
That said, I've been dipping my toe into the world of hair stylers in recent years, and one I've always been curious about is the iconic Dyson Air Wrap - but they're not known for their affordable price tags, as a typical set retails for £500, so they're not the most feasible choice when it comes to your average budget.
I recently got my hands on this Air Multi Styler from Bellissima. It retails for substantially less than the likes of Dyson and is so popular that it's nearly always sold out on Amazon. The retailer's top-selling air styler is currently up for grabs for the reduced price of £159.99, but it's running incredibly low in stock, so you'll need to be super speedy to snatch one up before it's out of stock again.
If you miss your chance on Amazon or don't mind splashing a tad more cash, you can pick up the same Bellissima Prodigy Air Multi Styler directly from Bellissima (where it's currently up for grabs for the discounted price of £179.99 down from £249.99) or you can shop at Boots, where the set is available for the same price.
Set to be the ultimate air styler for stepping up your hair routine with easy and damage-free hairstyles, the Prodigy comes with an impressive six heads to switch between, offering plenty of versatility when it comes to picking your preferred look. The set includes a handy beauty bag that's ideal for keeping your kit safe and easy to take with you when you travel, and the following six styling options: detangle and smooth (flat brush head), extra wavy (round brush), volumise and straighten (oval brush), two coanda prodigy (curling wands), and gentle dry (a hair dryer attachment).
The air styler also offers plenty of flexibility to best suit your hair and styling needs, as it comes with three fan speeds, three temperatures and a cold blast, which is recommended for locking in your look.
Boasting Hi-Pro Ceramic Technology that promises shiny and glossy hair, without damage, this styler comes armed with a digital motor and digital heat control that ensures five times the pressure of a conventional hairdryer, providing ultra-fast drying while the tool checks the temperature 50 times per second, avoiding heat damage. The gadget also boasts Ion Care Technology, which means you don't have to worry about frizz and flyaways, as it prioritises shinier and smoother locks.
On to my experience with the styler; as I said earlier, I'm not proficient when it comes to hairstyling tools, but this device was surprisingly easy and hassle-free. Yes, it did take me some time to get into a rhythm, but when I was using the Coando Curlers, I found it to be seamless to use, and I barely had to do anything. Thanks to Bellissima's Coanda Technology, which generates 200 micro-flows of air, your hair wraps around cylinders smoothly without you needing to painstakingly wrap every segment around or risk burning your fingers.
I was hoping for defined waves and curls, and I was shocked by how little time it took. I will note that the hair styler is relatively big, longer than your average straightener or curling wand when the Coanda Prodigy curlers are attached—while I got used to this, as a beginner, this does take some time to get used to. That said, once I familiarised myself with how this thing operates (with easy-to-use controls that let you seamlessly switch between temperatures and speeds), it took a surprisingly short period of time to get the curls I was hoping for.
I will point out that I have relatively short and thin hair, so I imagine styling would take longer for someone with thicker and longer hair, but all in all, I think it took me 20 minutes. I did section my hair into three layers to make grabbing sections easier without too much hair getting in the way, but I don't think this would be necessary depending on the style you're trying to achieve. I would recommend sectioning if you have more hair than I do, as the air styler did have a tendency to pick up hair outside of my section, if I wasn't paying attention - so if, like me, you want tighter curls, you'll need to keep an eye to make sure too much hair isn't wrapping around the curler.
While I did play around with the other heads, the Coanda Prodigy curlers have definitely proven to be my favourite for getting smoother, more defined curls that beat even my natural hair. Regardless, I was blown away by this set's versatility and its catering to plenty of hair types and styles. It's super easy to use, with a coherent set of instructions also included, making it simpler than ever to achieve coveted styles without the need for experience or proficiency with other hairstyling tools.
It's also important to note that as someone with bleached hair, I always worry about my hair getting fried by too much heat. After using this air styler, my hair didn't feel dry or brittle at all. In fact, I did think my curls felt noticeably smoother, and my hair appeared to have a bit more of a shine to it. That said, I did use a heat protector spray, which may have contributed to those results. I used the Colour Wow Dream Coat.
And it's not just me who's obsessed with this hair styler. Bellissima shoppers have bestowed a near-perfect rating on this set, currently boasting an impressive 4.8 out of 5 stars. One satisfied shopper shares: "I bought this last week, and it's AMAZING! It dries my (long and thick) hair within 10 minutes. Especially for this price, it is the best out there! Additionally, this product simply looks beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing."
Another fan of the Prodigy Air Styler beams: "This air styler is a must have for anyone. I have been amazed by the results, taming my hair to make it smooth and aleek And very simple styling. I'm amazed how the air style works. The curling tongs are great. It comes in a beautiful gag and has several attachments which are easy to attach and swap."
And a third chimes in: " Absolutely amazing product! So versatile! Works so effectively for many different hair styles! So durable and very portable for travel! Feels very safe to use no concerns whatsoever!"

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos shrug off protestors to kick off lavish Venice wedding celebrations with scantily clad FOAM PARTY on $500M yacht
and her billionaire beau Jeff Bezos have shrugged off anti-capitalism protestors with a rowdy foam party on board a $500million superyacht to kick off their opulent wedding-week festivities. The couple and a host of celebrity friends will descend upon Venice this week ahead of the highly anticipated June 27 nuptials, greeted by anti-capitalist demonstrators vowing to 'block the canals' and prevent the wedding from going ahead. But the Amazon founder, 61, and his soon-to-be-wife, 55, didn't let the backlash get them down, stripping down to their swimsuits for a soapy foam party on Bezos' superyacht Koru on Sunday. Pictures obtained by of the lavish celebration show the loved-up couple covered in little more than soap suds as they relished in the summer sunshine. The couple partied off the island of Cres in Croatia in a final pitstop before arriving in Italy for their long-awaited wedding, more than two years after Bezos proposed on board the superyacht while it was docked near the Cannes Film Festival. While they spent most of the afternoon celebrating with friends, the soon-to-be-newlyweds managed to find pockets of intimate downtime, pictured with their arms wrapped around one another and beaming in the foam pit. Both Sanchez and Bezos were mindful of the UV rays, wearing hats and sunglasses, while the bride wore an ombre black and red string bikini and the groom wore blue and black swimming trunks. The rowdy party saw young guests diving off the back of the yacht into the water below, utilizing the stand up paddle boards on board and ferried to and from shore on smaller boats. Other guests took the opportunity to relax, basking in the sunlight on one of the many day beds available on the top floor of the yacht. According to an insider, a police boat briefly approached the vessel during the festivities, but quickly moved on. A 'Happy Birthday' sign was pictured hanging from the yacht, amid reports the festivities were to celebrate Lauren's son Evan's 19th birthday. A relaxed-looking Sanchez and Bezos are in Europe ahead of their nuptials, which are expected to be a week-long affair estimated to be costing roughly $15 to $20 million. Ahead of their arrival in Venice, i mpassioned signs reading 'No space for Bezos' and 'Veniceland: A playground fit for an oligarch' have been plastered across the region, hinting that residents want Bezos and Sanchez to take their multimillion-dollar wedding elsewhere. Demonstrators have also been plotting to clog up streets and canals to throw off the wedding's events and hinder the roughly 200 guests from getting around the city. Federica Toninello, who is helping to organize one of the coordinated protests, told the New York Times that she has 'moles' who are leaking details of the upcoming events. The group has received intel that one of the key events will take place at Misericordia. 'Bezos will never get to the Misericordia,' she told a crowd of about 300. 'We will line the streets with our bodies, block the canals with lifesavers, dinghies and our boats.' Among protestors' biggest gripes is that tourists flocking to Venice have contributed to soaring housing costs which make it near impossible for 'ordinary Venetians' to live in the region. And the Bezos-Sanchez wedding has coincided with peak season in Venice, meaning hotels of all budgets are nearing capacity with tens of thousands of visitors arriving daily. But the couple's wedding organizers, Lanza & Baucina Limited, earlier spoke out on their high-profile clients' behalf, hitting back at suggestions that the couple have not been respectful of the locals during the planning process. 'From the outset, instructions from our client and our own guiding principles were abundantly clear: the minimizing of any disruption to the city, the respect for its residents and institutions and the overwhelming employment of locals in the crafting of the events,' Lanza & Baucina Limited said in a statement to Page Six. 'Before the recent news of protests arose, we had worked for there to be minimal negative impact or disruption to the lives of Venetians and the city's visitors.' The company added that Bezos and Sanchez have donated funds to various Venice charities in the months leading up to the nuptials. Bezos and Sanchez have also gifted funds on behalf of their guests, according to the report. The high-end wedding planning company has worked with stars including George and Amal Clooney, and Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault. Mayor Luigi Brugnaro also advocated for Bezos and Sanchez, telling The Associated Press: 'We are very proud. 'I don't know if I will have time, or if he will, to meet and shake hands, but it's an honor that they chose Venice. Venice once again reveals itself to be a global stage.' The highly anticipated ceremony is just one of three formal events - all at different locations. It is believed that on June 26, there will be a gala at a private cloister along the iconic Lid, possibly at Chiostro della Madonna dell'Orto. And on June 28 there will be an extraordinary party at a church, one source claimed. The insider confirmed guests should be steadily arriving in the country over the next few days and will likely leave by June 29. The guest list is thought to have less than 200 people, with A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and even members of the Trump family thought to be invited The couple and a flock of celebrity friends will descend upon Venice this week ahead of the highly anticipated June 27 nuptials, greeted by anti-capitalist demonstrators vowing to 'block the canals' and prevent the wedding from going ahead A-listers Lady Gaga and Elton John are set to perform. 'Lauren wanted some big talent to sing for them and it just doesn't get any bigger than Gaga and Elton,' a source previously told 'It also helps that Gaga and Elton are good friends and were happy to do it together, which is cool. It will be like a mini vacation for the besties.' Around 60 of Venice's water taxis are reserved for the week, with some of the 400 gondolas on the island out of commission as well, according to the source.

Meghan Markle's eagle-eyed fans spot 'mortifying blunder' in Instagram post
Meghan Markle's latest Instagram post from her brand As Ever was questioned by fans after they pointed out a small blunder as Meghan thanked her followers for 'being here' Eagle-eyed fans have pointed out a surprising blunder in Meghan Markle's latest Instagram post from her brand As Ever, as she thanks her followers for their support. The picture is of a kitchen counter top with a small note which reads 'You're beautiful. Full stop' in handwriting. Meghan captioned the post: 'It's true. From our hearts to your homes: thank you for being here. You're the sweetest part of what we do!' The note is placed candidly on the table along with a rolling pin, two eggs, scattered flour and what is believed to be Meghan's left hand in the corner. However, fans believe the image may not have been taken in her home and may be a screen grab due to a small black and white cursor at the left-hand side of the screen. Followers took to social media to point out the blunder as one person said: 'Eagle eye right there', leading to many other comments. Another added: 'I didn't even notice that, well spotted'. The comments section has since been turned off on Instagram. The brand sells an array of products, including cookie mix and spreads. According to their website: 'As ever is more than a brand - it's a love language. Created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, As ever welcomes you to a collection of products, each inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining, and hostessing with ease. This curated collection has been crafted to elevate your everyday and inspire moments of joy.' The Instagram cursor blunder has drawn attention to other social media mishaps where Meghan came under fire. Fans pointed out a similar situation at the beginning of the year when Meghan made her long-awaited return to social media with a video of herself writing '2025' in the sand. It didn't take long for some viewers to point out a previous attempt in the sand and suggest that the video wasn't as candid as it looked, but rather took a few takes. One follower penned: 'Wonder how many it took to get the perfect shot?'. Meghan originally announced the brand earlier this year and shared its name with her fans and followers. She initially called the brand American Riviera Orchard, however, she swiftly changed the name for reasons she explained online. She said: 'Last year, I had thought, 'American Riviera', that sounds like such a great name… but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.' She added: 'As Ever essentially means as it's always been… If you've followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I've always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do.'

Eagle-eyed fans spot blunder in Meghan Markle's latest Instagram post promoting As Ever brand
EAGLE-eyed royal fans have spotted a surprising blunder in Meghan Markle's latest Instagram post – despite the Duchess of Sussex being praised for her 'attention to detail'. The photo, posted on the official Instagram page of her lifestyle brand As Ever, appears to be a heartfelt thank-you to followers. 6 The image, believed to be taken in Meghan's kitchen in Montecito, California, seems to have accidentally revealed more than intended Credit: aseverofficial/Instagram 6 Fans quickly noticed something that seemed out of place – a small black mouse cursor just above Meghan's hand on the left edge of the picture Credit: aseverofficial/Instagram 6 The new honey – priced at £21 – is said to have a 'beautiful golden hue' and 'delicate floral notes with subtle citrus undertones' Credit: Not known, clear with picture desk 6 Now, Meghan's oversight has led some to call this her own 'take two' moment Credit: oprahdaily / instagram But the image, believed to be taken in Meghan's kitchen in Montecito, California, seems to have accidentally revealed more than intended. At first glance, the post looks polished and charming. A handwritten note sits neatly in the centre of the picture on a marble worktop, reading: 'You're beautiful. Full stop.' The note is surrounded by sprigs of thyme, two eggs, a rolling pin and scattered flour, with Meghan's hand peeking into the bottom left corner of the image. However, fans quickly noticed something that seemed out of place – a small black mouse cursor just above Meghan's hand on the left edge of the picture. The digital slip suggests the image may have been taken as a screen grab, rather than a fresh photograph. Followers took to social media to comment on the tiny detail. One user posted on Twitter: 'Eagle eye right there.' Another wrote: 'I didn't even notice that, well spotted,' as the image gained attention online. Others were excited to simply catch a glimpse behind the scenes of the Duchess's latest project – a lifestyle venture that's seen a wave of success since launching earlier this year. The cursor blunder has drawn comparisons to another royal photo mishap. Last year, the Princess of Wales came under fire for edits made to an official family photo, sparking widespread speculation and criticism. Now, Meghan's oversight has led some to call this her own 'take two' moment. It follows another incident at the start of the year when Meghan made her long-awaited return to social media. On New Year's Day, she posted a video of herself barefoot on the beach, writing '2025' in the sand. But sharp-eyed viewers spotted an earlier attempt already written nearby – suggesting the scene may have required a few takes. One follower quipped: 'Wonder how many it took to get the perfect shot?' while others noticed multiple footprints in the background that hinted at previous runs. This week's Instagram post came as Meghan launched three new items under her As Ever brand – a Napa Valley rosé wine, an apricot spread, and a limited-edition orange blossom honey. In her caption, she wrote: 'It's true. From our hearts to your homes, thank you for being here. You're the sweetest part of what we do!' The new wine is Meghan's first move into the drinks market, described by the brand as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish'. The 2023 rosé will be available to buy from 1 July, just in time for summer. The new honey – priced at £21 – is said to have a 'beautiful golden hue' and 'delicate floral notes with subtle citrus undertones'. It sold out quickly, along with the apricot spread, which comes in either a keepsake jar (£10) or a standard pot (£7). The brand also brought back several items from its first collection, including raspberry spread, herbal teas, flower sprinkles and shortbread cookie mix. Most of the original items sold out within an hour of launch. Meghan originally announced the brand earlier this year under the name American Riviera Orchard, but changed it after a trademark dispute. Explaining the name switch, she said: 'Last year, I had thought, 'American Riviera', that sounds like such a great name… but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.' She added: 'As Ever essentially means as it's always been… If you've followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I've always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do.' Now, as her followers continue to grow – with her personal account @meghan already boasting over 3.9 million – every post she shares is under the spotlight. And as this latest image proves, no detail, however small, escapes notice. 6 The 2023 rosé will be available to buy from 1 July, just in time for summer Credit: Not known, clear with picture desk
