STAMFORD, Conn. – May 13, 2025 – GOLF Central Live From The PGA Championship surrounds this week's 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., with more than 60 hours of studio coverage on GOLF Channel through this Sunday night.
Daily primetime Live From shows on GOLF Channel air at 7 p.m. ET tonight and Wednesday and will begin immediately following the conclusion of play Thursday through Sunday.
Rich Lerner hosts primetime Live From The PGA Championship alongside analysts Brandel Chamblee and Paul McGinley, featuring on-course segments with analyst and Quail Hollow Club member Johnson Wagner. Jaime Diaz will also contribute to primetime Live From coverage with reports from Rex Hoggard and Kira K. Dixon.

The first of five major championships on the PGA TOUR Champions takes place this week with the Regions Tradition at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Birmingham, Ala., which plays host to the event for the ninth time. Steve Stricker is a three-time winner of the event. Doug Barron won last year's championship for his first senior major title, defeating Steven Alker by two shots. Coverage airs 3-6 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel on Thursday-Friday and 2-5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel on Saturday and Sunday.

England's Tommy Fleetwood fired a seven-under par 63 to grab a three-stroke lead after the third round of the PGA Tour Travelers Championship (Andrew Redington) England's Tommy Fleetwood, seeking his first PGA Tour title, fired a seven-under par 63 to seize a three-stroke lead after Saturday's third round of the Travelers Championship. The 34-year-old Merseysider eagled the par-five 13th for the second consecutive day on the way to standing on 16-under 194 after 54 holes at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. "It'll come down to a bunch of things really," Fleetwood said. "Being in the last group, I'm really happy with that. "I'm happy with the work I've done. It's just an amazing opportunity to go out here tomorrow and hopefully it's my time." World number one Scottie Scheffler, second-ranked Rory McIlroy and world number five Justin Thomas stumbled to fall well back, Scheffler and Thomas having shared the 36-hole lead with Fleetwood. Fleetwood sank a birdie putt from just inside 13 feet at the third hole and rolled in a 66-foot birdie putt, his season long, at the par-three fifth. At the par-five sixth, Fleetwood dropped his approach inches from the hole and tapped in for birdie. Fleetwood made a 19-foot birdie putt at the 10th then eagled 13, sinking a 30-foot putt from just off the green -- "13 has been very kind to me so far. I'd like to keep up with that." Fleetwood, who had two eagles on the season when the week began, has made three in the past two days and only one bogey this week. Miguel Angel Jimenez shoots 66 at Firestone for share of lead in PGA Tour Champions major
AKRON, Ohio — Miguel Angel Jimenez shot a 4-under 66 on Saturday for a share of the lead with Steven Alker in the Kaulig Companies Championship, the third major of the year on the PGA Tour Champions. Seeking his four victory of the year, Jimenez played a five-hole stretch in the middle of the round at Firestone South in 4 under, making birdies on Nos. 7-8 and 10-11. The 61-year-old Spanish star dropped a stroke on the par-3 12th, then parred the final six holes. Alker, tied for the second-round lead, had a 67 to match Jimenez at 8-under 202. Jimenez won the Trophy Hassan II in February in Morocco, the Hoag Classic in March in Newport Beach, California, and the Principal Charity Classic in a playoff three weeks ago in Des Moines, Iowa. He has 16 career victories on the 50-and-over tour. Alker birdied the par-4 17th to pull even with Jimenez, then made a 5-footer for par on the par-4 18th after missing the green long and left. The 53-year-old from New Zealand won the Cologuard Classic in March in Tucson, Arizona for his ninth Champions title. Michael Wright (66) and Freddie Jacobson (67) were tied for third at 6 under. Richard Green (67) was 5 under. The winner will get a spot in The Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass next year. Firestone South previously hosted the World Series of Golf and then a World Golf Championship. It's a strong test for players who next go to the U.S. Senior Open in Colorado. Angel Cabrera, who already has won two majors this year at the Regions Tradition and the Senior PGA Championship at Congressional, was 2 over after a 73.
