Simon Cowell was left astonished during Britain's Got Talent's semi-final on Saturday (10 May) when a former contestant made an unexpected return to the ITV talent programme.
Amidst the various performers, the episode also featured a live performance from 2024 BGT champion Sydnie Christmas and cast members of the West End musical Just For One Day.

Following an impressive act by the ensemble, presenters Ant and Dec joined the stage to chat with one of the vocalists, Fayth Ifil.

Dec continued the conversation: "You're hitting the West End soon! Tell us a bit about that."
Fayth elaborated on Just For One Day, set to feature at London's Old Vic Theatre, noting: "The show is based on Live Aid, which happened 40 years ago and the best thing about the show is it's raising money for the Band Aid Trust. We've already hit £750,000, and by the end of the year, we're hoping to raise £2million."

With wishes of luck to Fayth and her co-stars, Dec concluded: "We can't wait to come and see the show."

Ioan Gruffudd's wife Bianca Wallace reveals brutal reality of her pregnancy after his ex-Alice Evans shares reaction to their baby news: 'Some kind of torture'

's wife, Bianca Wallace, has shared a brutally honest account of her difficult pregnancy journey. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester. 'Life lately… Some real moments, because no one needs to be as shocked as I was to find out how f**ked pregnancy actually is,' she wrote, alongside 13 images and videos detailing weeks of intense morning sickness and physical pain. In one confronting clip, Bianca is seen lying in bed with a heat pack, grimacing in pain as she describes how constant vomiting left her bedridden and unable to sleep. She revealed she vomited so violently she threw her back out for four days, and shared a snap of herself looking pale and drained after throwing up 67 times in one day. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester In another photo, she is seen clutching a bowl of cornflakes - one of the only foods she could stomach for weeks. The post was both a personal confession and a public service announcement. She reassured others who may be experiencing similarly rough pregnancies, writing: 'You're not crazy! More often than not it isn't just nausea and "morning sickness". It IS sh*t and rough and f**ked and it IS ok to be honest about it!' Her pregnancy update comes just over a week after Bianca and Ioan announced they were expecting their first child together, posting a sweet black-and-white image of the actor kissing his wife's baby bump. 'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' they captioned the snap, which was met with an outpouring of love from fans and celebrity friends. But while the couple's news delighted many, it appeared to trigger a scathing response from Ioan's ex-wife Alice Evans, 55, who shared her own cryptic post following the announcement. Without naming the couple, Alice wrote: 'Some people like to go low. I can't. Not because I'm better. But because I have kids. This s**t is some kind of torture.' The post sparked speculation among fans that it was a veiled dig at her ex and his new wife, reigniting tensions from the pair's bitter public split. Ioan and Alice finalised their divorce in July 2023 but remain locked in a fiery legal battle over spousal and child support for their two daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. Court documents have detailed years of alleged abuse, online harassment, and restraining orders. Bianca was previously granted a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Alice, with Ioan claiming his ex had embarked on a 'smear campaign' against them. Despite the drama, Ioan and Bianca have pressed on with their life together, sharing footage in April of their low-key wedding ceremony with the caption: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' Ioan, who currently stars in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which has grossed over $400 million globally, has denied Alice's claims that she and their children have been left destitute, saying he's paid over $400,000 more than required under their prenup. Meanwhile, Alice recently revealed she had been evicted from her Los Angeles home, later launching a GoFundMe campaign to help her find housing. 'Thanks to all of you, my girls and I and Emma [the family dog] have a roof over our heads,' she said in a recent update, thanking supporters for their donations. While Ioan and Bianca continue to navigate the highs and lows of pregnancy – and public scrutiny – the couple appear focused on their growing family, with Bianca finishing her post on a lighter note, sharing that her dog Bubba has become her 'protector' through it all. 'This week… Bubba's still taking his protector job very seriously,' she wrote, sharing an adorable image of the pup curled up next to her baby bump.

Kelsey Parker announces her baby has died

Parker revealed she was expecting her third child in January, and on Sunday shared an Instagram post with the news that her son was 'born sleeping'. She lost her husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker, in 2022 after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, and the baby was her first with her new partner Will Lindsay. Parker, who is mother to Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with the late singer, shared a poem on Instagram about the boy she was expecting, whom she and Lindsay had named Phoenix. 'For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved,' the poem began, with a caption: 'Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved.' A post shared by Kelsey Parker (@being_kelsey) After sharing the post, Parker also put up an Instagram story which read: 'Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heart-felt well wishes, I want to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. 'But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. 'I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space. 'Love always, Kelsey, Will and The Parker Family.' Parker has previously spoken candidly about how trolls have made her feel guilty for having a new partner. She said in March: 'I'm always going to have guilt but what's so hard is that Tom's not here any more, so what do people want me to do? 'Our house was full of so much sadness but now it's full of happiness, the kids deserve that more than anything.' Following her husband's death, Parker has raised money for a brain tumour charity by organising annual charity football matches in his memory. The 34-year-old hosts a podcast with model Georgia Jones called Mum's the Word! where the pair share parenting advice with celebrity guests.

Fern Britton remembers working with Phillip Schofield ‘with fondness'

Schofield resigned from ITV in 2023 after admitting to an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a much younger male colleague on This Morning. Britton, 67, presented the morning programme with Schofield for eight years before leaving in 2009. In an interview with Saga Magazine, Britton, speaking about Schofield stepping down from This Morning, said: 'It brought up a lot of mixed emotions. The years we worked together were mostly great fun and we were a very good partnership, which I can remember with fondness. 'I knew how much he loved his job and cared deeply for his public perception. It must have been a terribly difficult time for him and his family.' Britton also spoke about learning not to let others take advantage of her easy-going nature. 'I think I understand myself a bit better now, and can look back and see that I foolishly handed power to partners, bosses and colleagues, because I'm very easy-going and I never used to see around the corner and think, 'Oh hang on, they're actually manipulating me',' she said. While Britton may be best known for her years on daytime television, she has also built a career as a novelist. She has lived in Cornwall since splitting from TV chef Phil Vickery in 2020 after two decades of marriage. In her latest book, A Cornish Legacy, she draws on her life to explore themes of divorce, inheritance and the emotional weight of old houses. Talking about whether she would be open to finding new love, she told the magazine: 'I'm not averse to it but they'd have to be bloody spectacular. They have to make me laugh, they must be kind, and they must be honest.' Britton said she is now a regular at church, and talked about it giving her the 'nicest feeling'. She said: 'It's so important to feel useful. I've started regularly going to church, and honestly just helping make the coffees and the sandwiches in the church hall gives me the nicest feeling I've had for a long time.'
