Argyle's Randell banned following misconduct charge
Plymouth Argyle midfielder Adam Randell has been suspended for three matches for misconduct following an incident in the Championship match against Cardiff City.Randell admitted a Football Association charge that he "acted in an improper manner and/or used violent conduct and/or threatening behaviour towards a match official in or around the match officials' dressing room".The incident following the 1-1 draw at Home Park on Saturday, 22 February means the 22-year-old, who was also fined £4,000, will miss the games against Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth and Derby County.Two of Plymouth's backroom staff were also charged by the independent regulatory commission; physiotherapist Alex Kay and sports therapist Abner Bruzzichessi.Both were are found to have "acted in an improper manner in or around the dressing room after the match had finished". Kay was given a one-match extended touchline ban and £500 fine, while Bruzzichessi received a three-match extended touchline ban and £500 fine.

He told VBET: "It all depends on what Jamie Vardy wants to do with the rest of his career. "There are plenty of teams in the bottom half of the Premier League who could benefit from his experience and goal threat from the bench. But I can't see him being a starter in the Premier League. "If Vardy went and played for Wrexham in the Championship, it would be a lot of games for him to endure at his age. "I played in the Championship at 37, it was relentless, the stress of those games at that age felt much worse than it ever did in the Premier League, so it won't be easy for him if he signs for Wrexham. "Rangers would be a similar story to the Premier League, a little bit less intense, fewer games, but also less game time, I'd imagine. "If I were Vardy, I'd probably go and play abroad. If he has offers from the MLS or somewhere similar, I would go and enjoy football while getting a lot of game time, scoring goals in a less intense environment than the Championship." Gareth Bale is part of a United States investment group wanting to buy League One club Cardiff, according to reports. The 35-year-old former Real Madrid and Wales forward was understood to be part of a consortium that had conversations regarding a takeover of Plymouth earlier this week, along with several other clubs, but it appears they have now turned their attention to south Wales. The Athletic reports that the consortium sent current Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan a letter of intent last month, which included financial figures, but it was rejected.
