ONE of ITV's most popular reality TV formats has been named as the most complained-about TV show of the year so far.
Ofcom is the UK watchdog that aims to protect viewers by regulating all the channels.

If TV networks fail to adhere to the code, they risk substantial fines and other potential sanctions.
But it is Love Island: All Stars that has been named as the most complained-about TV show of the year so far.
Over 2,300 complaints were made throughout the second series of the dating show which saw previous contestants return to the villa.
An episode on the February 12th received 1,347 complaints, which is the single most complained-about episode to date.

On that night, Towie star Elma Pazar, shocked fans while she was engaged in a heated discussion with Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard.
The trio came to loggerheads when it was revealed 58 per cent of the public didn't believe that Ekin and Curtis were a good match.
Fans couldn't help but notice Elma smirking as the former Turkish soap star reacted badly to the result of the vote.
Other concerns throughout the show were also raised over Grace Jackson's language towards series eight star Luca Bish.

Meanwhile, ITV were flooded with complaints on other shows, which included Britain's Got Talent.
The variety talent competition has racked up over 960 complaints since the 2025 series started.

After the first semi-final, 129 complaints were made to Ofcom about Auzzy Blood and Akira, as viewers thought that their respective performances were not suitable for children.
Entertainment Expert at OLBG, Jake Ashton commented on the findings as he highlighted that Love Island was a particularly bad case.

He explained: "Despite the fact that we're not even halfway through 2025, we have already witnessed a host of controversial TV moments that have left many viewers so upset and angry, they have made the decision to raise a complaint with Ofcom.
'Our research has shown that an episode of Love Island: All Stars that aired on the 12th February has been named the most complained-about to date.

Big Brother also faced backlash after Mickey Rourke caused controversy in the house with his homophobic slurs and other inappropriate behaviour.

The expert added: "Other controversial TV moments that have resulted in large-scale complaints include Mickey Rourke's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
"The American actor's time on the show was cut short due to inappropriate behaviour towards his fellow housemates.
"One episode alone racked up over 1,000 complaints, making it the second most complained-about in 2025."

When we turned up, we had our friend in the back of the car because we thought everything would be normal. 'As soon as we sat down I saw two babies and not one, I was floored by that. I have twins in my family and as soon as we found out I was already nervous as we've not had a great history of twins in our family.' The Love Island star broke down in tears as she revealed: 'One of the babies just basically didn't have a heartbeat but I'd had no symptoms, no pain, no bleeding to tell me that was what we were walking into. We were floored, we were expecting to have these two little babies.' The star had experienced vanishing twin syndrome, which occurs when one twin passes away in the womb and 'vanishes' and studies suggest happens in roughly 36% of twin pregnancies. Olivia heartbreakingly revealed that 'the one beautiful part of it' is that the babies do 'absorb back into your body' and that's what the couple have been 'holding onto'. The reality star continued: 'The baby had completely absorbed into my body at 14 weeks, just completely gone which is tremendously sad knowing they're still in there. 'I am so lucky to have experienced that moment of possibly having twins, it's something that not everyone gets to feel so even having those two little babies at that time.' Alex then emotionally chimed in with: 'I built this scenario up in my mind, I was thinking of the future. 'I thought it was 100% happening and I had come to terms with it.
