Within 45 minutes of Operation Sindoor, THIS Muslim country called Pakistan 25 times and asked if..., the country is...
Operation Sindoor: Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has admitted in an interview that India had destroyed their airbase. However, he also said that when the Indian Army started the attack, within the next 45 minutes, a leader from a Muslim country spoke to him and asked if he should talk to India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and appeal to him to stop the attack and inform him that Pakistan is ready to stop.
Saudi Prince Faisal bin Salman also said that he is aware of Pakistan's counterpart conversation with US Defense Minister Marco Rubio. Ishaq Dar said that Faisal bin Salman called him 20-25 times and told him that he had spoken to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.
What Ishaq Dar said
Ishaq Dar's recent statement in an interview to Geo News clearly shows how the condition of Pakistan deteriorated during Operation Sindoor. Before US, a Muslim country came forward to help them and offered to normalize the situation. Apart from this, Ishaq Dar also said that his government had also appealed to US to stop the attack being carried out by India.
India destroyed many of their airbases in response to the Pakistani attack, in which Brahmos missiles were fired targeting many areas including Rawalpindi airport. This has been revealed by Ishaq Dar himself.
Evidence found through satellite images
During Operation Sindoor, India had targeted terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the night of May 7. 100 terrorists were confirmed killed in the attack. In response to this attack, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire and started an attack across the border.
After this, the Indian Army intensified the attack and targeted many airbases of Pakistan, in which the neighboring country suffered a lot of damage. Evidence of this was also given through satellite images.

Representing 57 Muslim Nations, Quiet On Iran Strikes: Exclusive On ‘Ineffective' Islamic Body OIC

Last Updated: 'It is an eye-opener for the Muslim world. It shows the OIC is a failed body and has nothing substantive to deliver. It faces systemic failures,' said intelligence sources The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) silence on Gaza and now Iran attacks have raised questions on the ability of the body that represents 57 Muslim majority nations and 1.9 billion people, according to top intelligence sources. 'It is an eye-opener for the Muslim world. It shows the OIC is a failed body and has nothing substantive to deliver. It faces systemic failures," said sources. 'They failed to defend Muslim interests during crises such as the Gaza genocide, Israeli attacks on Iran, and persecution of Uyghurs," they said. One of the OIC's major shortcomings is its lack of enforcement powers and a collective defence mechanism. The organisation operates on consensus, which is often divided and largely symbolic. Political rivalries, especially between Saudi Arabia and Iran, have obstructed unified action, particularly regarding groups like Hamas. Since 2023, the OIC has passed over 31 resolutions against Israel, yet these remain non-binding and ineffective, with no sanctions or meaningful outcomes. Many member states have deep ties with the U.S. and Europe, providing military bases, trade, and aid, which discourages confrontation with Israel. The normalisation of relations with Israel by countries like the UAE, Bahrain, and Türkiye further undermines Muslim solidarity. Notably, trade between these nations and Israel continued even during violent escalations. The OIC's silence on China's treatment of Uyghurs reflects its economic dependence on China. In fact, 28 OIC members have openly supported China's policies in Xinjiang. Trade between OIC countries remains low at 20.36%, limiting economic unity and reinforcing reliance on Western and Chinese partnerships. Sectarian divisions, particularly Sunni-Shia tensions, have also contributed to the OIC's inaction. Gulf states, for example, remained passive during Israeli strikes on Iran. Major failures of the OIC include its ineffectiveness during the Gaza genocide, where 48,500 lives were lost, its silence on the bombings of Iranian facilities, and its praise for China amid reports of Uyghur internment camps. Defence Stocks Fire Up On Escalating West Asia Tensions; Paras Defence, BEL Gain Up To 5%

Last Updated: Defence Stocks Rally: Shares of defence companies surged on June 23 after the US launched strikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities Defence Stocks Rally: Shares of defence companies surged on June 23 after the US launched strikes on key Iranian nuclear facilities, heightening tensions in the Middle East and fuelling expectations of increased defence spending globally. The Nifty Defence index rose nearly 1.7% to hover around 9,037 in morning trade. Zen Technologies and Paras Defence were the top performers, rising up to 5% and trading at around Rs 1,995 and Rs 1,718, respectively. Zen Tech was locked in its upper circuit. Other notable gainers included Astra Microwave, Bharat Electronics (BEL), Garden Reach Shipbuilders (GRSE), and Data Patterns — each gaining over 2%. Mazagon Dock rose nearly 2%, while Cochin Shipyard and DCX India added over 1.5% each. BEL also emerged as the top gainer on the Sensex. Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL), Bharat Dynamics (BDL), and BEML traded with modest gains, while Solar Industries bucked the trend with marginal losses. Meanwhile, drone-tech firm IdeaForge hit the upper circuit with a 10% rally to Rs 631.05. The rally came after former US President Donald Trump announced a successful strike on three of Iran's main nuclear enrichment sites. In a televised address, Trump claimed the facilities had been 'completely obliterated" using bunker-buster bombs and Tomahawk missiles, while also warning Iran of further action if a peace deal is not reached. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the move, calling it a 'bold decision" to deny nuclear weapons to a dangerous regime. Though US officials clarified that Washington is not at war with Tehran, the heightened rhetoric added to global market volatility. Indian defence stocks have already been in focus in recent months. In May, India carried out cross-border strikes under 'Operation Sindoor' against terror outfits in Pakistan, boosting investor interest in the sector. The ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has further supported sentiment toward defence plays. However, analysts remain divided. While some expect strong order inflows to continue, others caution that current valuations in the sector may be running ahead of fundamentals. 'Defence stocks have been highly volatile lately, rallying strongly after Operation Sindoor, then seeing profit booking, and now rising again amid Middle East tensions. This reflects a mix of short-term momentum and long-term optimism. Geopolitical risks and a stronger push for domestic defence manufacturing have boosted investor confidence. With India's defence spending at just 1.9% of GDP, there's significant room for long-term growth," said Ajit Mishra, SVP, Research, Religare Broking. 'However, the sharp rally has brought valuation concerns, making near-term volatility likely. Investors should remain selective, focusing on companies with robust order books, sound financials, and strong execution. While the momentum may fluctuate, the long-term outlook for India's defence sector remains structurally attractive in an increasingly uncertain global landscape," he added. Sankhanath Bandyopadhyay, Economist at Infomerics Valuation and Ratings, meanwhile, said, 'Defence stocks look promising due to the ongoing geopolitical tussle between Iran and Israel. Moreover, the Indian government is likely to enhance defence spending from the current ~2 per cent of GDP to 3–4 per cent over the next decade. Further, the government has targeted Rs 25,000 crore in defence exports by 2025–26." He added, 'Investors can focus on export-driven defence stocks with long-term potential. In the current scenario, geopolitical tensions will likely be lingering between different countries, especially as being reflected in rising tensions in the Middle East. Investors should carefully assess the financials and outlook of such stocks before investing, and there should be a judicious mix so that a healthy dividend can also be earned." Shashi Tharoor Hails PM Modi as 'Prime Asset' After Operation Sindoor Diplomacy Wins Over 5 Nations

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a 'prime asset for India' on the global stage following his return from a five-nation outreach tour under Operation Sindoor. In a candid column for The Hindu, Tharoor praised Modi's energy, dynamism and willingness to engage with the world and called for greater national backing. He emphasized India's strategic narrative of self-defence, which helped reverse early missteps like Colombia's condolence to Pakistan. Tharoor also recounted how even in Washington, US officials echoed India's concern over terror outfits like LeT and JeM, while a Pakistani delegation failed to change perceptions. Tharoor's endorsement signals a rare moment of unity, underscoring India's global strategy rooted in tech, trade, and tradition.
