
Meropa Casino hosts vibrant Lekompo Balcony Mix
POLOKWANE – The city came alive with rhythm, colour, and celebration this weekend, as Meropa Casino and Entertainment World played host to the sixth edition of the Lekompo Balcony Mix, a travelling music festival.
Music lovers from Limpopo, Gauteng and other provinces gathered in numbers to experience a day of high-energy performances, traditional beats, and a shared sense of identity.
Following a successful stop in Gauteng, this latest edition marked a highly anticipated return to Limpopo, where fans warmly welcomed the festival back to its roots.
Taking centre stage was Shebe Maburna, making a long-awaited return to the spotlight after taking a break from music for personal reasons.
His comeback was met with resounding cheers as fans sang along to his well-known hits.
Shebe was joined by performers Kharishma and Naqua, who delivered great sets and engaged the crowd with their energy.
The event was a celebration of community and connection. Local celebrities such as Shandesh, Janesh, Zoli White Smoke and Clement Maosa mingled with fans.
