Mukul Dev
's sudden demise at the age of 54 has left the industry in shock. Among those struggling to come to terms with the news is actor Rizwann Sikander, who shared a close bond with him since their time together on Fear Factor India in 2006.
Rizwann recalls, 'Mukul bhai always had a soft corner for me during Fear Factor India. I think he saw the youngest, most adrenaline-filled, mentally strong version of me — and gave me a special place in his heart. He constantly encouraged me to push forward and never give up. I'll never forget that he was the first to announce my victory, proud and beaming with joy. Sharing that historic win with him was the start of my career, and a memory I'll cherish forever.
He truly was a gem of a person. His presence will be missed, but his belief in me will always stay in my heart.'
The two last met on the sets of R... Rajkumar (2013), which starred Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. Rizwann shares, 'We met through our common fitness coach. He was genuinely happy to see me, and all our Fear Factor memories came rushing back — we were laughing about all the goof-ups. I told him about my acting journey since then — working in Balaji TV shows, living in London, shooting a commercial, hosting a French reality show, even working at a restaurant near Victoria Bus Station, while continuing to pursue acting.
He appreciated my journey, boosted my morale, and encouraged me to never give up on my dream. He gave me his blessings.'
Rizwann remembers Mukul as someone who was warm, supportive, and grounded — traits that made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Cost of Disneyland meal divides internet: 'This is pure theft') Authorities told The Sunday Times that the man, who posed as the groom in the ceremony, claimed the event was intended purely for the creation of social media content. However, the seriousness of the situation came to light after Disneyland Paris staff raised concerns when they noticed the supposed bride appeared alarmingly young. The event, scheduled as part of a pre-booked wedding package, quickly came under scrutiny, leading to police intervention. Further investigation revealed that the guests at the wedding were actually hired actors who had been transported to the park with minimal knowledge about the event's true nature. Multiple arrests made Alexandre Verney, assistant prosecutor for the Seine-et-Marne département, confirmed to The Sunday Times that the child was given a medical examination and was found to be physically unharmed. In connection with the incident, police arrested four individuals: the British man alleged to be the groom, the child's 41-year-old Ukrainian mother, and two Latvian nationals aged 24 and 55. While the mother and the 55-year-old Latvian have since been released from custody, Verney said the British man and the 24-year-old Latvian remain detained as authorities explore potential charges of financial fraud. Guests left stunned Eyewitnesses at the park expressed disbelief upon realising the child's role in the ceremony. Speaking to French news outlet Le Parisien, one attendee said, 'We all thought we were going to attend a wedding. Everyone was stunned, no one expected it.' He went on to admit, 'I'm of the empty-nest syndrome.' The actor and French singer Paradis were together for 14 years before parting ways in 2012. During that time, they chose to raise their children away from the spotlight, living on an estate near St. Tropez, which Depp purchased in 2001. Later, the family relocated to Los Angeles. Reflecting on those early days, Depp said, 'Oh man, my kids growing up in the south of France in their youth?' He spoke warmly about fatherhood: 'I was Papa. I cannot tell you how much I loved being Papa.' Then, with a hint of humor, he added, 'Then, suddenly, Papa was out the window. I was Dad. But Papa was awesome, and I'm getting old enough for Papa to possibly come back. Some motherf-----'s going to have to call me Papa!' 'That was home' for Depp Asked where he considers 'home' now, Depp said he doesn't spend much time in the US anymore, instead dividing his time between the UK and the Bahamas. Still, he called the family's time in France his true sense of belonging. 'Truly, the first time I felt I had a home was the place in the south of France where Vanessa and I raised the kiddies. That's the only place that ever felt like home,' Depp explained. Paradis once said she chose France as their home base. 'Only in the south of France can you live much more anonymously. And that's bliss, especially when the children are still young,' she told Weekend Knack in 2007.
