With just one day left for the release of Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, the highly anticipated spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, fans' excitement has reached its peak. The trailer and songs have maintained the intrigue, and everyone eagerly awaits the family entertainer. Ahead of its release tomorrow, the film has received an early review from Aamir's close friend and cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar was seen sharing his review after watching Sitaare Zameen Par at a special screening held in Mumbai. After watching the film, he was heard saying, 'Film bahot achi lagi (film is very good). Ye movie aisi hai ke aap team sitaare ke saath haste ho rote ho movie main hi (this is such a film that you will laugh and cry through the film) and I have always said that sport has the power to teach us everything. Itne saare messages milte hai, (you get so many messages) it has the power to bring everyone together toh ye movie waisa he message deti hai. Main saare actors ko big thumbs up deta hu, bahot acha job kiya hai, (I give all the actors a big thumbs up, they have done a wonderful job) very well done and all the very best to you."
Not just the screening, Sachin was also a part of the musical night hosted by Aamir Khan at his house earlier this month. The Sitaare Zameen Par cast jumped with joy after seeing their favourite cricketer appear before their eyes.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan Productions introduces 10 emerging talents: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by RS Prasanna, who previously directed the groundbreaking hit Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, now returns with Sitaare Zameen Par, the biggest collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions.
Produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner, Sitaare Zameen Par features Aamir and Genelia in the lead roles, along with the 10 rising stars. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics, while the music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The screenplay is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma. The film is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with B Shrinivas Rao and Ravi Bhagchandka as co-producers. The film is set to release in theatres on June 20, 2025.

Given the good reviews the film has gotten, it remains to be seen how much the film will bring in on Sunday and collectively in its first weekend.
