Courtney Stodden Calls Out Bethenny Frankel Interview

Courtney Stodden Calls Out Bethenny Frankel Interview

Buzz Feed6 hours ago

Courtney Stodden is calling out Bethenny Frankel for the "criticism and bullying" she says she faced in a past interview.
Courtney appeared on Bethenny in 2013 amid her split from Doug Hutchison, whom she'd controversially wed two years earlier when he was 51 and she was 16. Her rep had attributed the breakup to Courtney's age at the time, saying in a statement: "As you know, Courtney was married at a young age. Now, at 19, she's interested in exploring life as an unmarried single young adult—with the freedom to explore her independence."
Bethenny asked Courtney about the split and her plans after divorce on the show. "You said earlier that you want to go back to being a 19-year-old," she said. "You come here, you have very blonde extensions. You have very large breasts. You have a short skirt. You come in looking like you could be a strip club." She also couldn't believe Courtney had turned down porn deals because of her "promiscuous" appearance.
She also said, "🥀 I had to cancel my other interviews that day for a press tour in NYC because I couldn't handle any more criticism and bullying 💔"
Bethenny hasn't publicly respond to the clip, but she previously defended her behavior after Courtney called her out for making her feel "mocked" in 2022.
"Perhaps unfortunately, how we present ourselves is part of our branding and marketing," she wrote in a message to Courtney, which Courtney then shared on Instagram. "You were certainly marketing yourself differently than you are now, which seems to be working for you."She added, "I wish you luck in your endeavors. If something I said, upset or stuck with you, I'm sorry. Perhaps our conversation did contribute to the positive path that you embarked on."
People reacted to the clip in the comments, calling Bethenny's behavior "horrible" and downright disappointing.
"wow. it's giving 'but what were you wearing,'" one person wrote. Another stated that's exactly why her "talk show tanked!! She's horrible at interviewing at hosting."
"You didn't deserve that," said a third. "I'm so sorry. It's written all over your face that you were hurting. I hope you get a meaningful apology."
"You were groomed and healing yourself at this point and she has this to say?" a fourth wrote in disbelief, adding, "Bethenny has always been a mean girl. If anyone said this to Bethenny, she'd rip them a new one. She's also always been a hypocrite."
Someone else commented, "God forbid a girl love playboy aesthetic and still wants to be seen as a human being," while one more added, "I will NEVER forgive all the adults who failed you. It still makes me sick to this day. They should feel so ashamed for how they took advantage of a child who was clearly being exploited. I hope it haunts them forever. You deserved so much better."

‘Vanderpump Rules' Star Tom Sandoval Impresses ‘AGT' Judges With Surprise Audition Tape

Tom Sandoval has got skills — or, at least, that's what he's trying to prove on America's Got Talent. In a preview for the show's Tuesday, June 24, episode shared on Friday, June 20, Sandoval, 42, tells judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Mel B and Howie Mandel he's auditioning for the show because he's out of options. 'My name is Tom Sandoval, I was the most hated man in America,' Sandoval said in a clip shared via Instagram, referencing the so-called 'Scandoval' drama that unfolded on season 10 and 11 of Vanderpump Rules after Tom cheated on his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix with friend Raquel Leviss. 'This is the chance to show who I am as a musician.' He then launched into a cover of the 1980s song 'Take On Me' while cavorting onstage in a bedazzled green jacket and black pants. Ariana Madix Makes Subtle Jab at Tom Sandoval After Being Sued Over Explicit Rachel Leviss Videos Initially, judges weren't quite sure what to make of Sandoval. Cowell was seen grimacing at the beginning of the performance before cracking a smile, while Vergara seemed to doubt Sandoval's singing abilities. While Sandoval and the rest of the original cast of Vanderpump Rules will not be returning — in November, Bravo announced an entirely new cast will return for season 12 – Sandoval has not left reality TV behind. In May, Sandoval was announced as part of the cast of season 3 of House of Villains. He will be joined by Below Deck alum Kate Chastain, season 1 and 2 cast member Tiffany Pollard and Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn, as well as by Big Brother's Paul Abrahamian, Survivor's Tyson Apostol, Basketball Wives' Jackie Christie, Mob Wives' Drita D'Avanzo, RuPaul's Drag Race's Plane Jane, Love Island's Johnny Middlebrooks and The Challenge's Ashley Mitchell. Sandoval has yet to escape the full shadow that followed the revelation he had cheated on Ariana. In May, Madix said the pair still have not sold the home they bought together. 'You and Tom agreed to sell your shared home, what's the latest news?' Andy Cohen asked the Love Island USA host at the time, to which she responded, 'That is ongoing but hopefully wrapping up soon.' Tom Sandoval Thinks It's Time to 'Move On' from Scandoval: Did 'The Traitors' Kickstart His Redemption Era? The update came six months after Sandoval said he had agreed to sell the home after Madix took legal action in January 2024. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly last year, Madix alleged there was 'discord' between Sandoval and herself, who are co-owners of the house. Sandoval had pushed to receive full ownership before agreeing to put the home on the market. Cohen asked Madix during her WWHL appearance whether she and Sandoval are 'cohabitating' as they continue to find a buyer, with Madix explaining that she now has her own separate house while Sandoval still 'lives there.' Us also confirmed in March 2024 that Madix bought a $1.6 million house that month.

Where to Eat, Drink and Chill in Kauai's Tastiest Beach Town

Before traveling to Hawaii for the first time, I spent hours browsing through Instagram and TikTok foodie posts. Gathering ideas for all the delicious meals I'd eat, I had high expectations for the food in Poipu Beach, located on the south shore of Kauai. As it turns out, this island's food scene impressed me even more than expected. From nicer, more sophisticated spots like Red Salt Restaurant to quick bar bites at Kalapaki Joe's, check out these best Kauai food and drink spots on your next visit. These must-visit restaurants in Kauai won't let you down. I love Indian food and will make a point to grab it during any trip. This tucked-away restaurant, "That Indian Place", has excellent food and will adjust to your spice preferences. I ordered the butter chicken (mild) and the chicken sagwala (mild), along with some garlic naan bread. The local atmosphere and outdoor dining patio really made this place stand out as one of my favorite spots to eat throughout the whole trip. Top menu items Mango LassiButter ChickenChicken Tikka MasalaChicken SagwalaPaneer Tikka Stop by Brennecke's Beach Broiler as you stroll along Poipu Beach for a lively, vibrant atmosphere. Locals and visitors alike know this top spot as one of the best places for food and drink on Kauai. While crowded, you can grab some phenomenal bites here as well as tropical-style frozen cocktails. I loved the desserts here too. If you plan on doing some appetizer or bar hopping along the main strip, definitely make this restaurant/bar a must-visit spot. Top menu items Seafood Pupu PlatterMango MadnessLava Lava FlowPineapple Rum Upside Down Cake If you want to try a Loco Moco, stop by Red Salt Restaurant, attached to the beautiful Ko'a Kea Resort. This spot served the best Loco Moco I had while in Hawaii. A Loco Moco is a Hawaiian favorite comfort food, made with white rice, gravy, a hamburger patty, and topped with a fried egg. It sounds interesting, but trust me once you try it, you'll want to order it time and time again. The ocean views from this restaurant also set the scene for a nice meal. Top menu items Lemon Pineapple PancakesLoco Moco Acai Bowl Unlike other islands with numerous national chains, Kauai offers a more locally inspired dining scene. This laid-back, down-to-earth island provides numerous options for fresh, local seafood, including mahimahi, ahi tuna, and ono. The island also has many traditional Hawaiian plates to try. I highly recommend trying at least one classic Hawaiian dish, such as the Loco Moco, during your visit. You'll also find spam musubi almost everywhere, another classic food in Kauai. Morgan Wallen sets negative headlines ablaze during 'I'm the Problem' tour opener

Morgan Wallen marked the opening night of his "I'm The Problem" Tour with a fiery performance at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, including what seemed to be his reaction to recent news headlines. According to multiple videos from fans in attendance at the June 20 concert, Wallen displayed a montage of negative headlines − including one that read "Morgan Wallen breaks COVID mask protocols" − during his performance of "I'm the Problem." After the song's performance, Wallen appeared to pour gasoline on the stage and then picked up a lighter, cueing a pyrotechnic show. "You say I'll never change, I'm just a go around town with some gasoline," Wallen sings during the opening lyrics of the song. "Just tryin' to bum a flame, gonna burn the whole place down." Wallen posted an Instagram video walking out before the concert with retired NFL legend Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans. USA TODAY reached out to reps for Wallen and NRG Stadium for comment. "Morgan Wallen burns the place down while bringing the receipts," wrote one X user. Another user on TikTok wrote, "Morgan Wallen claps back at all the negative headlines and sets the stage on 'fire.'" Wallen has spent his fair share of time in the headlines. Earlier this year, he caused quite a stir by making an early exit from "Saturday Night Live" during a March episode of the NBC sketch series. In an unusual moment, he hugged Oscar-winning host Mikey Madison during the signoff before walking off stage and then taking to his Instagram stories to post a photo of a plane and wrote, "Get me to God's country." Morgan Wallen teases new album 'I'm The Problem' and announces 2025 tour The walk-off moment sparked a wave of criticism for the "Just In Case" hitmaker, who pleaded guilty last year to misdemeanor reckless endangerment after throwing a chair off the roof of a bar. In 2020, Wallen was uninvited from "SNL" after videos surfaced that showed him partying without a mask amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The next year, he shocked the music industry when he was captured on tape in a TMZ video using a derogatory racial slur commonly used to describe Black people. The "Kick Myself" singer will also perform Saturday, June 21. Wallen's tour is named after his fourth studio album, in its fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 top albums chart. His previous album, "One Thing at a Time," spent 19 weeks at No. 1 — the most weeks any country album has ever logged at No. 1. "One Thing" followed "Dangerous," which spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on its way to becoming Billboard's most successful album of the century so far.
