Dhamar event commemorates "Scream" as weapon against foreign domination

Saba Yemen28-04-2025

Dhamar - Saba:
The Public Works Sector and the Youth and Sports Office in Dhamar province, along with residents of the northern sector of Dhamar city, held a speech event on Monday to commemorate the anniversary of "The Scream" under the theme "The Scream: A Weapon and a Stance."
Province undersecretary Mahmoud al-Jabin stated that the "Scream" slogan is a continuation of a Quranic project aimed at liberating Yemen from foreign domination.
He explained that the "martyr leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi" launched it to provoke the enemies of Islam, making it an effective weapon against their attempts to control the nation. He highlighted its impact in Yemen's support for Palestine.
Engineer Moath al-Shawkani, head of the Public Works Sector, indicated that the slogan moved the nation from inaction to action, exemplified by Yemen's current confrontation with the US and Israel in defense of Palestine.
He reviewed the nation's submissive state before the slogan's launch, emphasizing that "The Scream" broke the silence and represents a return to pride and freedom.
Ali al-Aoush, Director of the Youth and Sports Office, highlighted the stages of the Quranic movement and the "Scream's" launch, noting the challenges faced by early followers and their current strength through adherence to the Quranic culture.
He stated that the martyr leader transformed faith-based education into a practical project, taking a courageous stand against the "American conspiracy" when other regimes did not.

Mohajerani: Iran Will Not Compromise on Its Sovereignty, Enemies Know It

Tehran - (Saba): Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani affirmed that Iran will not compromise on its sovereignty and independence, and that its enemies are more aware of this than its friends. In a post on her personal page on the 'X' platform on Sunday evening, Mohajerani said: 'The behavior of those who claim to defend human rights is disgraceful, the conduct of international organizations and forums is disgraceful, and the actions of those who claim to uphold international law are also disgraceful.' She added: 'The behavior of countries that try to justify the aggression against Iran is the most disgraceful of all, as it reflects their fear of the fake Zionist entity and the United States.' In the early hours of Sunday morning, Iran was subjected to a brutal American attack targeting its nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The assault came in support of the ongoing Zionist aggression against the country, which began on June 13 and has resulted in the assassination of dozens of civilians, military leaders, and scientists, as well as the targeting of civilian, military, and nuclear facilities. Bahrain urges against using main roads following US strikes on Iran

Bahrain on Sunday urged citizens and residents to avoid using main roads unless necessary to 'allow relevant authorities to use roads efficiently' following strikes US against Iran's nuclear facilities. 'In light of recent developments in the regional security situation, we urge citizens and residents to use main roads only when necessary, to maintain public safety and to allow the relevant authorities to use the roads efficiently,' the ministry said on X. Separately, Bahrain also said on Sunday that it has permitted a 70 percent remote working for all workforce in ministries and governmental institutions except for sectors whose work requires in-person attendance amid the ongoing tension in the region, according to the Civil Service Bureau. 'In light of the regional circumstances and current developments, starting today and until further notice, it has been decided to activate remote work for 70 percent of the workforce in all ministries and government agencies, with the exception of sectors whose work requires in-person attendance or those with special work procedures in emergency situations and as required by public safety,' the Bureau said in a statement on X. The Gulf country hosts a US military base. The statements came after the US hit Iranian nuclear facilities amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday night that American forces had struck three nuclear sites in Iran. Trump said that the US 'completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.'
