Viewers watched as Stephen K. Amos tackled the show's Super Catchphrase.
The comedian worked his way up a pyramid to play for the show's top prize.
Stephen answered the first few with ease - but wasn't quite as lucky on the £50k catchphrase.
It appeared to be someone who was running alongside a clock or watch.
Although Stephen's guesses included "time travel" and "running with time", he failed to find the correct answer.
Despite the setback, he still won £25,000 for his charity as well as helping increase the amount won by his competitors.
Host Stephen Mulhern said afterwards: "Well I tell you what, there's a turn up for the books.
"Honestly, that was fantastic. That was amazing play."
To which Stephen K. Amos replied: "Thank you. I'm glad we could help my friends as well."
It was at this point that the elusive £50k answer was finally revealed.
Rob Brydon appears on a celebrity edition of Catchphrase
Stephen Mulhern admitted: "I thought you were going to say it at one point. It's running like clockwork."
He continued: "Think of that no longer, because you are taking away the £4,900 that you won earlier on.
"Now, that £25,000, taking your total prize money for your charity to £29,900."
Stephen K. Amos triumphed over Corrie legend Beverley Callard and presenter Kirsty Gallacher in the earlier rounds.
His efforts in the Super Catchphrase meant he also doubled their winnings, so Beverley now received £3,800 for her charity.
Meanwhile, Kirsty's doubled amount went up to £6,800 for her cause.
The episode originally aired in 2022 - although ITV2 viewers have now seen the outcome play out again.
Earlier this year, it was revealed Celebrity Catchphrase had been renewed for an 11th series - before series 10 even aired.
ITV commissioner Gemma John-Lewis said: "We're delighted to announce a further series of the much loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase.
Stephen Mulhern's career so far
The presenter is a mainstay on various ITV shows, but how did he become one of Britain's most well-known faces?
Stephen first gained an interest in magic and tricks from his father who taught him as a kid.
After performing at Butlins, he became the youngest member of the Magic Circle and even made an appearance on Blue Peter in a piece about Harry Houdini.
His career started in Children's TV when he presenter the show Finger Tips in 2001.
After four years, he launched Tricky TV on CITV in 2005, which he presented until 2010.
During this time, he was handpicked by bosses to front the ITV2 spin-off for Britain's Got Talent.
He presented Britain's Got More Talent until the cancelation of the companion in 2019.
But it's not all bad news for Stephen who is known for his duties on a number of quiz shows.
In for a Penny, a format originally launched on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway was launched the same year.
Before, he was chosen by bosses to host Catchphrase in 2013 and has been fronting the show ever since.
Other huge shows he presented for ITV included Big Star's Little Star, Rolling In It and the reboot of Deal Or No Deal.
He also made regular appearances on This Morning in 'The Hub' segment between 2011 and 2014.
After the Philip Schofield scandal rocked ITV, he was chosen to reunite with his former CITV co-star Holly Willoughby as the host of Dancing on Ice.
"The only show where you say what you see, the hugely popular series continues to win legions of fans and with Stephen's infectious and playful humour it's a firm favourite with our viewers."
Gary Chippington, Executive Producer and Creative Director of STV Studios Entertainment, added: "It's testament to Catchphrase's fantastic format and universal appeal that it's still one of the UK's most-loved entertainment shows, four decades after ITV first commissioned it.
"The incomparable Stephen Mulhern is a huge part of the show's success, and we're looking forward to getting back in the studio with him and a great line-up of stars later this year for what promises to be another brilliant series of Celebrity Catchphrase."
Celebrity Catchphrase airs on ITV1 and ITVX.

Abi, 31, wrote: "So today is officially my third week living in LA.. i'll be dead honest and admit it's been way more challenging than I ever expected it to be. I haven't been posting much on the grid cause honestly it's been mainly pretty boring life stuff, tryna get set up in a new country ain't no joke. "I mean literally no one said it was gonna be easy.. but FECK America why you gotta make everything so dam tricky?? ahahah." She continued: "I'd say I've spent majority of my time here so far feeling overwhelmed and stressed lol. "But as of yesterday, I finally got my SSN number through (something I discovered you can't do anything without it here) so now I can finally make a start on finding my own little apartment and create my own little safe space to start building my foundations for my new lil dream LA life. Whatever goal you're tryna achieve right now, just a lil reminder that you've absolutely got this." She also posted a video telling her followers how the move caused "new heights to my stress levels". One of her hashtags on the post said she had an O-1B visa. This kind of visa is for "individuals who have extraordinary ability in the arts or have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry". They can work in the US on the visa, which is a "nonimmigrant" category, with dual intent - this means applicants can pursue a green card at the same time granting them permanent residency.

Broadcaster Selina Scott 'traumatised' after being robbed
The 74-year-old former ITV News at Ten anchor revealed how she fought back during the terrifying incident last week. Scott said she was leaving a branch of Waterstones in central London when she was struck on the back of her knee, leaving her feeling as if she had been 'stabbed'. The gang attempted to snatch her designer backpack, which she tightly held onto, however one of the thieves unzipped it and removed her purse before running off. She lost her bank cards, driving licence and cash in the robbery. Another group then barged into her, and she realised she was being 'attacked from both sides at the same time'. Writing in the Mail on Sunday, Scott said the events were 'so swift and practised that it was clear it was a coordinated assault'. She explained: 'I was right by a busy bus stop, although no one would have known what was going on. 'It was slick, brief and clearly engineered to happen in the middle of a crowd. I still feel shattered after what has happened. I can't believe it happened to me. 'I'm mentally resilient and physically fit, but if they can attack me in such a brazen way they can attack anyone. You're left feeling not just traumatised, but stupid that you have somehow let it happen.' After starting out her career as a journalist in Dundee, Scott became a national figure as a newsreader for ITN in 1982 at the height of the Falklands War.
