The Steelcase Gesture chair has earned acclaim for its innovative ergonomic design, addressing the evolving needs of today's workforce. Unlike traditional office chairs, the Gesture was developed through Steelcase's Global Posture Study, which identified nine new postures driven by technology use, such as smartphone swiping and tablet browsing. Its 3D LiveBack technology mimics the spine's natural movement, providing dynamic support across various sitting positions. The chair's 360° adjustable arms accommodate tasks from typing to texting, while its flexible seat edge reduces pressure points, enhancing circulation during long work hours.
In April 2025, Expert Consumers awarded the Steelcase Gesture the title of Best Office Chair, praising its adaptability and comfort for diverse body types. This recognition underscores its relevance in a hybrid work era, where employees spend time split between home and office settings. According to a 2024 study by the Occupational Health and Safety Association, ergonomic seating can reduce workplace discomfort by up to 60%, boosting productivity and well-being. The Gesture's intuitive adjustments, including lumbar support and seat depth, make it a standout solution for addressing these concerns.
Madison Seating's inclusion of the Gesture chair aligns with their mission to provide high-quality, ergonomic furniture at competitive prices. Operating for over 18 years, the Brooklyn-based retailer has built a reputation for offering both new and refurbished office chairs from top brands. Their platform features a wide selection of Steelcase chairs, including the Gesture, Leap V2, and Amia, catering to various budgets and preferences. Customers benefit from free shipping and a 30-day return policy, although return shipping costs may be applicable. Madison Seating's responsive customer service, primarily via email, ensures prompt resolution of inquiries, as noted in customer reviews on Trustpilot.
The Gesture chair's design also reflects Steelcase's commitment to sustainability, incorporating recyclable materials and eco-friendly fabrics. This aligns with 2025 office furniture trends that emphasize environmental responsibility, as highlighted in a recent report by the AND Academy. Its high-back design and customizable options, such as fabric or leather upholstery, make it suitable for executive offices, home workspaces, or collaborative settings. Madison Seating's inventory features various configurations of the Gesture, allowing customers to find a model that suits their aesthetic and functional needs.
The ergonomic benefits of the Gesture chair are particularly timely as businesses prioritize employee health. Poor posture from inadequate seating contributes to back pain and neck strain, affecting 80% of office workers, according to the Global Posture Study. The Gesture's ability to support multiple postures—whether reclining, leaning forward, or shifting positions—helps mitigate these issues. Its sleek, modern design also complements contemporary office aesthetics, making it a versatile choice for professionals.
The Gesture chair's availability through Madison Seating's platform provides an accessible option for businesses and individuals upgrading their workspaces. While Madison Seating is listed as a gray market seller by Steelcase, their products are genuine and offer significant savings compared to authorized dealers. This affordability, combined with the Gesture's award-winning design, positions Madison Seating as a key destination for ergonomic furniture.

News Corp will extend the contract of chief executive Robert Thomson through 2030, the media giant said Sunday. His contract was extended in 2023 until 2027. Nets FA Cam Thomas likely to sign deal worth $25 million annually

The Brooklyn Nets have plenty of decisions to make this offseason as they seek to significantly improve the roster before the beginning of the 2025-26 NBA season. Brooklyn not only has to think about who they will be taking in the 2025 NBA Draft, but they also have to worry about what they will do in free-agency. "Several sources have indicated he's likely to command a deal as high as $100 million over four years, well in with first rank shooting guards at his age," NetsDaily reported on what Nets guard Cam Thomas is expected to earn in free-agency this summer. Thomas is a restricted free-agent this summer after spending his first four seasons in Brooklyn after being taken with the 27th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft out of LSU. "Moreover, those same sources see Thomas signing as a priority for the Nets," NetsDaily continued. "Because of the Nets monopoly on cap space and the new CBA, the Nets aren't likely to have much competition for him." Many around the NBA have weighed in on what Thomas should command on the free-agent market, but it seems that he's likely to sign for somewhere between $20 million and $25 million per season. One fact to consider for anyone predicting Thomas' next contract is that he is a restricted free-agent, meaning that the Nets have more leverage than they would with an unrestricted free-agent thanks to the offer sheet matching mechanic. Granted, if a rival team wants Thomas bad enough, they could put forth an offer that Brooklyn may not want to match and Thomas would be playing with that team as a result. However, unless something significantly changes between now and when free-agency is in full-swing, the Nets are one of few teams that would be able to offer Thomas more than the Non-taxpayer Mid-Level Exception (NTMLE) of $14.105 million. Given the nature of how most teams won't be able to spend much money in free-agency this summer, Thomas could opt to sign with Brooklyn for the financial security.

Upcoming Stock Splits This Week (June 23 to June 27)

These are the upcoming stock splits for the week of June 23 to June 27, based on TipRanks' Stock Splits Calendar. A stock split takes place when a company increases its number of outstanding shares by issuing more to existing shareholders, effectively reducing the price per share without altering the firm's overall market capitalization. While the underlying value remains the same, the lower share price makes the stock more accessible to everyday investors and may help boost market interest. Confident Investing Starts Here: Meanwhile, a reverse stock split does the opposite, shrinking the share count by consolidating existing shares into fewer units. This pushes the stock price higher while keeping the total valuation the same. It's a common move for companies trying to meet exchange listing requirements, especially if their share price is flirting with minimum thresholds like those set by the Nasdaq. Whether it's about attracting more investors or holding onto a listing, these corporate actions can offer valuable clues about a company's strategy and where it sees itself heading next. Let's take a look at the upcoming stock splits for the week. Pegasystems (PEGA) – Pegasystems is a leading provider of enterprise AI-powered decisioning and workflow automation software. Maase (MAAS) – China-based Maase, a digital platform company, is switching from trading American Depositary Shares (ADSs) to listing its regular shares directly on the Nasdaq. To prepare for this transition, the company announced a 1-for-90 reverse stock split on June 18, meaning every 90 ADSs will be converted into one regular share. The split takes effect when the market opens on June 23, 2025. Super League Enterprise (SLE) – Super League builds immersive experiences across gaming and metaverse platforms. On June 18, the company announced a 1-for-40 reverse stock split, designed to boost the share price and extend its Nasdaq listing runway. The stock will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis on June 23. KULR Technology Group (KULR) – Focused on thermal management and battery safety for aerospace and EV markets, KULR announced a 1-for-8 reverse stock split on June 13 to regain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price rule.
