Bahrain Announces Readiness to Host 2025 International Para Badminton Tournament

Manama: Ali Mohammed Al Majed, Secretary General of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, confirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's readiness to host the Bahrain Para Badminton International 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from May 13-18, in collaboration with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Majed expressed appreciation for the federation's support, highlighting the contributions of its President, Dr. Sawsan Haji Mohammed Taqawi, in advocating for para sports. He stated that the tournament aligns with the vision of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee and the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He also recognized the backing of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the involvement of Shaikh Mohamed bin Duaij Al Khalifa in the initiative.
Al Majed underscored that hosting the championship will bolster Bahrain's global sporting reputation, provide support for para athletes, and foster community awareness and inclusion.
