Boots discounts £24 Too Faced plumping lip gloss that 'lives up to hype' to £10

Shoppers love the Too Faced plumping gloss 'for lips that appear full and pouty'
Boots' £10 Tuesday deals are live, offering customers savings on a range of popular beauty products. The latest deals include household names such as Liz Earle, Lumene, and Nip + Fab, with offers on various products, including sun cream, body butter, and skincare.
One offer has seen the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Plumping Lip Gloss discounted from £24 to £10, with two shades currently available. Boots' description says the gloss makes "lips appear full and pouty from the first application," and reviewers agree it makes lips look "big but natural."
Sadly, not all feedback was positive. While someone dubbed it "the best lip plumper I have ever used," another thought it "doesn't do any kind of plumping, just stings." Beauty fans looking for alternatives could prefer the Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper, which is currently on sale for £17.60 from £22 at Look Fantastic.
It's described as "a plumping lip gloss with sheer colour coverage and a high-shine finish." Yves Saint Laurent offers its YSL Loveshine Plumpling Lip Oil Gloss, which is described as a juicy gloss with 8-hour plumping hydration, for £38.
Elsewhere, Space NK has the Charlotte Tilbury Big Lip Plumpgasm on sale. It's on offer for £21.60 from £27. The description says the lip gloss "provides an instant lip-plumping effect upon application" and a "glazed finish that makes them appear fuller."
Nonetheless, shoppers might like the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Plumping Lip Gloss. The product description says: "A lip plumper for immediate satisfaction and long-term results; this is a day-and-night-use serum for lips that appear full and pouty from your very first application and plumper over time.
"Lips appear full and pouty from the first application with a light-reflecting shine and supreme moisture. Over time, lips will become plumper overall." It adds: "You may experience a slight to intense tingle. Apply only within perimeter of lips. If applied on skin, a temporary redness may occur."
Reviewers gave the product an average rating of 3.5 out of five, reports the Mirror. An impressed customer said: "This was a huge hit this product is amazing and I use it everyday because it looks big but natural." Another echoed: "Great plumping gloss. This lip gloss does live up to the hype. It makes lips feel soft, plump whilst tasting delicious."
However, some shoppers didn't see results. For example, a shopper wrote: "This is okay as a lip gloss but does not do anything else. Do not recommend." A second agreed: "Just a normal lip gloss. Didn't do what I expected. The girls at work raved about it. I'm not!"
Others criticised how the product felt on their lips, with a buyer writing: "Doesn't do any kind of plumping, just stings and the shine from the lip gloss makes the lips look a little rounder. That's it. Not worth the money, unfortunately."
Some still liked the product despite the sensation. A shopper shared: "Love this - it really works! Yes, you get the sting initially, but it really helps my fine lines around my lips and give my thin lips a boost. I've tried lots of different plumbers and this is best so far."
Another thought: "Gives an amazing plump which is definitely noticeable and does resemble lip fillers, but doesn't stay or last for long. Effect goes down within an hour.. have to reapply to keep effect long-wear. It does sting and feels uncomfortable at first but is then fine after a few minutes. Would recommend this product!"
Elsewhere, an unhappy customer commented: "It really does make your lips bigger however it always leaves a reddish line around my lips, almost as if I have food around my mouth which is not ideal obviously."
Despite this, someone praised: "This product does exactly what it says. The best lip plumper I have ever used. Not only that, it is probably the most hydrating product I have ever used. Unlike chapsticks and other several lip products, the glossy and hydrating residue that lasts on your lips for hours after use does WONDERS for my dry chapped lips."

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference - and this matters for all ages - is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed. "The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation," she continued, not because you're "not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday". "If you're not doing in your 20s, get on that now." But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn't go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun. Doing this over your lifetime - and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days - "will reduce the visible signs of photoageing", Andrea said.
