Ryan Reynolds' "Animal Friends" Delayed to 2026

Ryan Reynolds fans will have to wait a little longer to meet Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Entertainment's 'Animal Friends,' as the upcoming movie is getting pushed back to next year.
The project, which the Burbank, CA lot inherited from Sony, was moved from its scheduled October 10 theatrical release to May 1, 2026. It was previously dated for August 15 under Sony. When it moved to Warner Bros., the release date shifted to October 10.
Despite the move, there's obvious box office potential at play: for starters, Reynolds most recently starred in Marvel's 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' which grossed $1.3 billion at the international box office, while Momoa's 'A Minecraft Movie' has grossed $948 million worldwide to date.
Directed by Peter Atencio and written by Kevin Burrows & Matt Mider, 'Animal Friends' stars Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, Addison Rae, Dan Levy, Lil Rel Howery, and Ellie Bamber in a 'live-action hybrid road trip adventure.'
The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. and Legendary, and was produced by Legendary, Reynolds' Maximum Effort, and Prime Focus Pictures.

Deezer Adds AI Song Tags to Tackle Streaming Fraud

Yara Sameh Deezer announced Friday that it will begin labeling albums that include AI-generated tracks in combat against streaming fraud. The music streaming service reports that about 18% of the music uploaded each day — more than 20,000 tracks — is now fully AI-generated. While most of these tracks don't go viral, Deezer says around 70% of its streams are fake and designed to earn royalties fraudulently. To combat this, AI-generated tracks on Deezer are now clearly tagged and won't appear in editorial playlists or algorithm-based recommendations. Fraudulent streams are also being filtered out of royalty payments. The company says the new labels will be a game changer in helping listeners determine the difference between human-created music and AI content. Deezer notes that for now, AI-only songs make up just 0.5% of all streams on its platform, but that the trend is growing fast. 'We've detected a significant uptick in delivery of AI-generated music only in the past few months and we see no sign of it slowing down. It's an industry-wide issue, and we are committed to leading the way in increasing transparency by helping music fans identify which albums include AI music,' Deezer CEO Alexis Lanternier said in a press release . 'AI is not inherently good or bad, but we believe a responsible and transparent approach is key to building trust with our users and the music industry,' he added. 'We are also clear in our commitment to safeguarding the rights of artists and songwriters at a time where copyright law is being put into question in favor of training AI models.' Deezer applied for two patents in December 2024 for its AI Detection technology, which it says is focused on two different ways of detecting 'unique signatures' that tell the difference between synthetic and authentic content. The move comes as Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment are reportedly in talks to license their work to AI startups Udio and Suno, Bloomberg reported earlier this month. "Watar Hassas" Is Coming Back for Season 2

Yara Sameh "Watar Hassas" has been renewed for season 2. Season 1 of the series debuted on October 27 and revolved around the issue of marital infidelity and the secrets of the human psyche through three women (a doctor, a lawyer, and an employee), as the pace of events escalates due to the disputes between the lawyer and her interior designer husband, especially after she accuses him of infidelity, with the relationships between all parties becoming intertwined. The cast starred Saba Mubarak, Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam, Mohamed Alaa, Ahmed Gamal Said, Mohamed El Amroussi, Hager Afify, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Ahmed Tarek Nour, and more. "Watar Hassas" consists of 45 episodes and was produced by ‎United Media Services‎. It was written by scriptwriter Amin Gamal and directed by Wael Farag. Season 2 of "Watar Hassas" takes place after the events of the first season. Ghada Adel is in negotiations to play the titular role instead of Mubarak, who will not be returning for the upcoming season. The creators of "Watar Hassas" will also add new elements to the plot to keep up with the events. "Catalog " Gets Premiere Date and First Look

Yara Sameh The first look and premiere date for Netflix's highly anticipated original series "Catalog" have finally been unveiled. The cast includes some of the region's most beloved stars: Riham Abdel Ghafour Mohamed Farag, Samah Anwar, Tara Emad, Ali El Beialy, Retal Abd El Aziz, Donia Sami, Sedky Sakhr, Dina Samy, Khaled Kamal, Bayoumi Fouad, and more.
