110 Days of Widespread Zionist Aggression on Jenin
Jenin - (Saba):
The Media Committee in Jenin Refugee Camp reported that Israeli occupation forces continue their large-scale aggression against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the 110th consecutive day, amid ongoing raids and an escalation in bulldozing and destruction operations.
In a statement issued on Friday, the committee said that the occupation forces have turned the UNRWA girls' school into a military base, placing their equipment, bedding, and food inside it, and vandalizing its classrooms and hallways.
The committee also noted that plumes of smoke rose near Al-Aseer Mosque on the outskirts of Jenin Camp after the occupation forces set fire to the area.
It explained that the enemy is imposing a complete closure on the camp, preventing access or the return of displaced residents, while continuing destruction and bulldozing operations aimed at altering its structure and features.
According to preliminary estimates, the occupation has completely demolished 600 homes in the camp, while the rest of the houses have suffered partial damage.
The committee pointed out that the Israeli army continues to deploy reinforcements toward the camp and its surroundings. The city witnesses daily deployments of infantry units across several neighborhoods, while families in the camp — along with hundreds from the city and surrounding areas — remain forcibly displaced. The number of displaced persons has now exceeded 22,000.
Since the aggression began on January 21, 43 Palestinians have been martyred, and 3,250 housing units have been either completely or partially destroyed or burned. Additionally, 93 residential buildings containing around 300 housing units are under threat of demolition.
The ongoing aggression has also caused water and electricity outages, severe shortages in food and basic needs for children, and the suspension of schools and health services in the camp. Many homes have been converted into military outposts, and 342 Palestinians have been arrested, with dozens subjected to field interrogations.
The committee reported that the Israeli army has conducted 959 house raids in Jenin city and camp, along with 15 airstrikes on various targets.
The committee called for continued exposure of the occupation's escalating violations, support for displaced people, and efforts to meet their needs amid the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the aggression.

Italian Journalists Denounce Zionist Enemy's Crimes Against Journalists in Gaza
Rome - Saba: Dozens of Italian journalists and media professionals participated in a vigil on Sunday evening in Rome's Porta San Giovanni Square, condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against Palestinian journalists. The protesters carried pictures of the martyred journalists who were killed during the Israeli genocide and demanded respect for international law, concrete initiatives to halt the Israeli genocide in Gaza, an immediate withdrawal from the Strip, and the entry of UN and international aid into Gaza, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA). Participants issued a statement during the event, affirming that "what is happening in Gaza before our eyes is a genocide, in which Israel has killed 226 journalists—an unprecedented death toll in history, surpassing even major conflicts of the 20th century." They added, "Thanks to these colleagues, the world has learned what has happened and continues to happen in Gaza, especially since Israel bars international media from entering the Strip and commits deadly attacks against Palestinian journalists and their families." The protesters rejected the double standards in media coverage when it comes to Israel's victims and called on Italian and European media to freely use the term "genocide" to describe the events in Gaza. They urged Italian news agencies and official institutions to take a firm stance, stating that silence is no longer acceptable, and demanded greater mobilization among Italian journalists. Additionally, they called on "Italy and the European Union—bound by specific international obligations—to take action to prevent and halt the ongoing genocide." They also demanded that "Israel respect press freedom and immediately allow international media into Gaza and the occupied territories, as denying this constitutes an arbitrary violation of the right to information and fundamental democratic principles." Protesters held banners with slogans such as: - "Iran will not become Gaza" - "America must leave the region" - "Thank you, valiant Revolutionary Guards" They also chanted anti-U.S. and anti-Israel slogans, including: - "Death to America, Death to Israel" - "No negotiation, no surrender, only confrontation with America" - "We are not like the people of Kufa to leave Ali alone" - "We came to the square to humiliate the enemy" - "We are the soldiers of the Imam, ready for jihad" Participants expressed support for Iran's response to recent attacks on nuclear facilities, calling for a "strong and decisive retaliation" against the "blatant American-Israeli aggression on the country's sovereignty." Demonstrators also demanded Iran's withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), urging the government to take serious steps, including closing the Strait of Hormuz and targeting U.S. military bases near Iran in retaliation for the attack. Several student movement leaders delivered speeches during the rally, analyzing the regional situation and possible response scenarios by the Islamic Republic. The protest follows a U.S.-coordinated military strike with the Zionist entity earlier today, targeting sensitive Iranian nuclear facilities. While the U.S. president claimed the attack "destroyed Iran's nuclear infrastructure," Iranian authorities confirmed that damages were "limited and under control." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Inspection of Solar Energy Projects in Al Hodeida
Hodeida – Saba: Dr. Mishal Al-Rifai, Director of the General Electricity Corporation, inspected on Sunday the progress of work in several solar energy projects currently under implementation in Al Hodeida province. Accompanied by Deputy Director-General for Distribution and Technical Inspection Affairs, Engineer Mohammed Al-Shaibani, Al-Rifai reviewed the surveying, leveling, and site preparation work for the new solar stations, which are scheduled to enter service in the coming months. This falls within the joint efforts of the Al Hodeida Support and Development Fund and the General Electricity Corporation to enhance the electricity generation system from alternative energy sources. Al-Rifai, along with the Assistant Deputy Governor, Mutahar Al-Hadi, also inspected project sites in the Southern Square districts, where they observed the progress of construction in the designated areas for solar power stations. They received a briefing from concerned officials and technicians on the completion level, technical work mechanisms, and remaining implementation phases. Both officials emphasized the continuation of work at a high pace despite the current circumstances. In Al-Jarahi District, Dr. Al-Rifai examined the technical work in the city and reviewed the efforts of the technical distribution and inspection teams affiliated with the General Electricity Corporation in Al Hodeida. These efforts include preparing transformers, installing collective distribution boxes, and completing network improvements in the city's neighborhoods. During a field tour through Al-Jarahi's streets and neighborhoods, he reviewed the plan for distributing collective boxes, low-voltage line routes, and distribution transformers. The visit also included an inspection of the construction site for the electrical transmission line linking Zabid District and Al-Tuhayta City, as part of the internal interconnection project to enhance power supply in coastal districts. During the visits, Dr. Al-Rifai noted that the inspection aligns with the directives of the leadership and the plan of the government of change and development, which aims to expand electricity services and prioritize Al Hodeida and the coastal Tihama districts—especially after the direct targeting of generation and conversion stations by the Israeli-American aggression. He appreciated the support of the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water, as well as the efforts of Al Hodeida's leadership in facilitating project implementation. He also praised the technical and field performance of the executing teams. Al-Rifai considered the ongoing projects a true beacon of hope for breaking the siege and aggression, moving toward enhancing electrical stability by integrating solar energy into the national grid.
