Michael Jackson's daughter Paris sparks concern over tearful chat with fiancé before dad's death anniversary

Daily Mail4 days ago

Paris Jackson seemed to be showing the strain when she was spotted on a tense outing with her fiancé in Malibu, California.
The 27-year-old singer–songwriter was seen tearing up before her fiancé Justin Long tried to comfort her with an embrace on Tuesday.
The emotional moment came at a difficult time for Paris, as the 16th anniversary of her father Michael Jackson 's death is just a week away.
DailyMail.com has contacted Paris' representative to request comment.
The upcoming event had already taken on an even darker tone after she was forced to defend herself from furious fans who were upset that she would be performing on tour on the anniversary of her father's death.
The nepo baby and her partner looked as if they had been enjoying some fresh air in the coastal city before
Paris was dressed in a sporty workout-ready ensemble with a medium-brown sports bra that revealed her toned midriff and tattooed arms.
She paired it with darker brown athletic shorts highlighting her trim legs, and she completed the low-key look with white trainers.
The daughter of Debbie Rowe wore her long blond-dyed hair tied back in a high ponytails, and she wore a silver pendant dangling from her throat.
Her fiancé Justin opted for a less sporty ultra-casual look with a tan Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt and dark blue pants that he had rolled up to the knee.
Unlike Paris, he wasn't ready for a rugged outdoor adventure, as he was dressed in brown leather boat shoes.
His fiancée displayed a somber expression on her face as they chatted on the side of the road.
Justin seemed to try to comfort the sobbing Paris, as he embraced her at one point while she rested her forehead on his shoulder.
The outing comes just over a week before the anniversary of her father's untimely death at 50.

Jackson died on June 25, 2009, only a few weeks before he was to begin a sold-out residency in London titled This Is It.
The Thriller singer had developed a dangerous relationship with his personal physician, Conrad Murray, who would regularly administer him a cocktail of psychiatric drugs and anesthetics that were more commonly used to put patients under for surgery, rather than as a sleep aid.
On the afternoon of June 25, Murray had giving Jackson a mix of the benzodiazepines lorazepam and midazolam, along with propofol.
Jackson stopped breathing after the drugs were administered, and paramedics arrived to perform CPR and attempt to resuscitate Jackson on the way to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead nearly two hours later.
A coroner's report later determined that it was an overdose of propofol, which is traditionally used as part of general anesthesia for surgery, that caused Jackson's death.
Paris has long been open about how difficult the anniversary of her father's death is for her, but that hasn't stopped some callous fans from lambasting her on social media for choosing to move on with her life sixteen years later.
On Friday, she hit back at her critics via now-expired Instagram Stories posts.
According to People, Paris — who went bra-free with her fiancé days earlier — wrote to her five million followers: 'So people are mad again. I guess one of the dates I'm supposed to be going out on tour (with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra) happens to be June 25, which is a very negative anniversary for me in my life and my family.'
The nepo baby of the iconic artist fired back at fans via now-expired Instagram Stories on Friday; Michael pictured in 2009
'It's just me and my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who happens to be my fiancé. So we're gonna be in a soccer mom van,' Paris said as she explained her modest tour accommodations; pictured on stage on May 27, 2023
She continued in the video post, 'So, what I guess I have to explain to these people is that when you're not headlining these shows, you don't pick what date you perform.'
The music artist also underscored that she is not getting lavish accommodations as an opening act.
'It's just me and my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who happens to be my fiancé,' she said in reference to her husband-to-be, Justin Long. 'So we're gonna be in a soccer mom van.'
Paris noted that she volunteered to be part of the tour and wouldn't step down over the date.
'So, I'm gonna tell 'em, "Sorry, guys, we can't perform on this date?"' she posited, facetiously, adding, 'F*** you.'
The songstress also reposted, via Instagram Stories, what appeared to be a comment or caption from a fan account.
It read in part, 'Note to admins: It is unacceptable to judge someone else's pain and grief based on information from the internet.
'Judging Paris' respect for her father from an outside perspective is unfair. June 25 may intensify our pain as fans, but she lives with the loss of her father daily.'
Paris added a simple response: 'thx fam.'
In March it was announced by Incubus that Jackson and Manchester Orchestra would be hitting the road with them for their Morning View + The Hits tour throughout the US and UK.
On June 25 — the 16th anniversary of Michael's death — the tour will be in Nashville, Tennessee.
Paris and Justin met in 2022 and their relationship was professional before it was romantic.
'Happy birthday my sweet blue,' she wrote in a birthday tribute announcing their engagement last December.
She added, 'Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.'
According to his LinkedIn Justin attended college in Indiana at Grace College & Seminary, where he graduated in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and business administration.
He transitioned to music full-time in 2013 and has worked with artists including Grace Potter, The Wombats and Sleater-Kinney.

‘Are you ready for Strictly?' – Snooker star Shaun Murphy shows off amazing dance moves while onboard a ‘wine train'

SHAUN MURPHY could be getting ready for Strictly Come Dancing after showing off his dance moves on board a wine train. The snooker star, 42, enjoyed a well-earned break following the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. 2 Murphy earned £327,900 to rank ninth in the one-year World Snooker Tour list. He suffered a second-round exit to No2 seed Judd Trump at the World Championship. And then the Englishman lost 4-3 to Mark Williams in the Helsinki International Cup in May. Now Murphy is home after letting his hair down with a holiday in America. The Magician took to Instagram with a pair of posts from the trip. The first was a picture of Murphy smiling in a restaurant earlier in June. He captioned it: "Off season going well - not sure I'll remember how to play snooker at this rate." Then the next post from Friday showed Murphy dancing along to music while riding along the road - with a drink in hand. He was decked out in a pink shirt, grey trousers and sunglasses as September by Earth, Wind & Fire pumped out of the speakers. Murphy wrote: "Just back from a two-week holiday in the States. Ronnie O'Sullivan is BACK with Strictly star Laila Rouass as they ditch Essex for shock new life abroad "I promise it wasn't all drinking and dancing. "Looking forward to getting back on the baize!" And the brilliant video sparked plenty of reaction in the comments. Fellow snooker great Stephen Hendry said: "Oh dear." BBC Sport's Jason Mohammad replied: "Scenes." Another added: "Hate him or love him, but you cannot deny, he got the moves!!! Enjoy it!!!" A fourth typed: "I can't unsee this unfortunately." And a fifth quipped: "Are you ready for Strictly?" But upon his return home, Murphy did not have long to get ready for his 2025-26 season opener. The 2005 world champ took to Instagram again on Sunday afternoon with a photo of himself in action and wrote: "How is it time for the new season???? "Wuhan Qualifier, tomorrow 2.30pm (UK time)."

Kendall Jenner shows ex Bad Bunny what he's missing in tight white tank top on steamy summer outing

Kendall Jenner proved her 'hot girl summer' was well underway when she surfaced with a pal in Los Angeles this week. The 29-year-old showed her ex Bad Bunny what he was missing in a skintight white tank top that emphasized her hourglass figure to full advantage. Playing up her ample endowments and her enviably trim midriff, the top clashed elegantly against her fashionably faded jeans. Sharpening her screen siren features with makeup, she wore her dark hair down in silken curtains that framed her luminous complexion. She accessorized with a sleek pair of gleaming dark shades and rounded off the ensemble with a stylish set of cowgirl boots. Kendall, who has inherited her transgender father Caitlyn Jenner's love of cars, was seen driving a friend around in a vintage Toyota Land Cruiser that day. Kendall and Bad Bunny dated for about a year before splitting up in late 2023, only to rekindle their romance briefly in 2024 and then go their separate ways again. The apparently amicable exes crossed paths last month at the Met Gala, where a source exclusively informed they enjoyed a chat. 'They bumped into each other inside the event,' a guest revealed. 'They said hello and hung out a bit. They have stayed in touch.' Although she is not currently known to be in a relationship, Kendall's dating history also includes NBA heartthrobs Devin Booker, Ben Simmons and Blake Griffin. She recently joined her sister Kylie Jenner and the latter's boyfriend Timothee Chalamet to watch his beloved New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The trip did not proceed without incident, as Kendall accidentally chipped a front tooth during the ride to New York on Kylie's private jet. She took a relaxed view of the snafu, laughing uproariously with Kylie over the incident in a clip that was shared to Instagram. Kendall has also been enjoying quality time with her gal pal Hailey Bieber, who is at the center of rumors of marital strife with her husband Justin Bieber. The new photo-shoot comes after she offered fans a glimpse of the healthy diet that has helped her maintain her exquisite figure over the years. Earlier this month, she posted an Instagram photo of the meal she starts her day with, including a parfait of berries and yogurt, plus nuts and matcha green tea powder. The food was washed down with the fashionable Golden Milk Latte, so-called because turmeric is mixed into the beverage. 'The whole plate is about 200 calories, and it's full of healthy fats that help keep her thin,' functional nutritionist Monica Partier told 'The meal consists of fresh berries like raspberries, strawberries and blackberries that have fiber and vitamins in them,' she noted. 'It looks like Kendall added Matcha green tea powder, which is an antioxidant and contains vitamin C, chromium, magnesium, selenium and zinc.' Monica observed that there were 'also a few small nuts, which contain healthy fats, and a splash of Greek yogurt which is high in calcium and protein, and supports gut health, and also is a healthy fat.' Apropos the latte, she added: 'Turmeric is rich in phytonutrients that may protect the body by neutralizing free radicals and it also has anti-inflammatory properties.' The information came shortly after Kendall revealed she was a size two whilst putting her old clothes up for sale on her Kardashian Kloset page.
