We did it! One whole point.After weeks of mounting pressure, we finally have something to smile about. A very hard-earned point on the road at West Ham and coming from behind to level the record-low tally set by Derby County.It is a point that feels like a win. Unlike the Crystal Palace heartbreak. After recent collapses to Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, we were all starting to wonder whether we would hit that 11-point target. The new challenge is to surpass that. We have to fancy our chances in the final five games remaining.Interim boss Simon Rusk has Saints playing with more confidence and we would certainly have been worth a lead at half-time. But once again, we could not capitalise on our chances and conceded in the opening stages of the second half.We are all hoping this is a sign of things to come. Can we become harder to beat? Just maybe we can play with more freedom now that pressure has released. Hopefully the home form can turn around to give fans a reason to keep bums on seats.Of our 11 points this season, six points have come away from home and a meagre five at St. Mary's Stadium. We need to energy from those travelling supporters.There's no doubt that the point at London Stadium is something to build on and with Fulham at home this weekend, can we see us play like we're not already relegated?Here's hoping we can see St. Mary's stay full until till the final whistle for a change. New Rangers head coach Russell Martin wants to build his team around Raskin and is making a pitch for the player to sign a bumper new contract with improved financial terms. Doing so would put the Ibrox side in a strong negotiating position should Wolves, Aston Villa or indeed another club come calling. According to the Daily Record, Wolves have been tracking Raskin for 18 months and despite a summer of upheaval at Molineux, he remains high on their list of summer transfer targets. Midlands rivals Villa have also been credited with interest in the midfielder, a move that could see him link up with Scotland hero John McGinn. Raskin joined for £1.7m Gers in 2023 as Michael Beale's second signing of the January transfer window that year. The player himself has publicly said he wants to stay with Rangers. He was asked about his future and his thoughts on a new boss at the end of last season. And Raskin said: "I've been enjoying myself this season and it's not so often that you can enjoy yourself at a club. "Barry's been great for me and my statistics can show it. I've been much more efficient and going forward for the team. "So Barry's been great for me. I think he's a great guy. "It's going to be a big change in the summer. So who knows what's going to happen? I don't know. "So let's just wait and see." Liverpool get boost in Guehi transfer chase with Crystal Palace talks imminent

Liverpool have quickly emerged as favourites in the race to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace this summer and the Premier League champions could now be in a position to act Liverpool are in a position to ramp up their interest in Marc Guehi after agreeing a £35million deal to sell their homegrown defender, Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds have emerged as serious contenders in the race for Guehi's signature with the 24-year-old now approaching the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park. But there are other clubs lurking, too, including Arsenal and Newcastle, who saw substantial bids for the England star rejected last summer. ‌ It was outlined earlier this week that Liverpool were unlikely to pursue anything with Guehi until a deal for Quansah was done. ‌ And following a prompt resolution to negotiations with Leverkusen over a third transfer between the two clubs this summer, the Premier League champions are now, theoretically, in a position to make their move for Guehi. Mirror Football revealed on Friday that Crystal Palace are braced for an imminent approach for their star defender from their domestic rivals. But it's understood that Liverpool will not be held to ransom over a price for Guehi, who was valued in excess of £60million by the FA Cup holders last summer when Newcastle came calling. The Reds have already spent well over £100m this summer after completing deals for Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, who could end up costing a British record £116m. And with a further £40m swoop mooted for Milos Kerkez, the Bournemouth left-back, it's easy to see why Liverpool will not commit to big money for a player who could be available for free next summer. ‌ Join the debate! Palace are already in discussions over a deal for Sporting Lisbon's highly-rated defender, Ousmane Diomande, who would, in theory, be Guehi's replacement should he be sold. Liverpool transfer stance on Marc Guehi as Crystal Palace face two options

Liverpool have been offered encouragement in their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi after the England international made his stance clear on his future Liverpool are interested in Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi - but only if the price is right. The England international is ready to leave Selhurst Park this summer. Guehi, 24, has just one year left on his deal with the FA Cup winners and is attracting attention from a number of Premier League clubs. Both the Reds and Arsenal are admirers, while Newcastle United have a long-standing interest. ‌ Liverpool have agreed a deal to sell Jarrell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for an initial £30million. The England Under-21 international made 25 appearances in all competitions last term, but only made five Premier League starts, with only one of those - at Ipswich on opening day - coming before the title had been won. ‌ Quansah, currently with the England Under-21s at the European Championships in Slovakia, will complete his move to Germany when his participation at the tournament is over. Liverpool bosses are keen for Quansah to go and get regular football, which will be on offer under new Bayer boss Erik ten Hag, with the Warrington-born defender set to replace Jonathan Tah, who joined Bayern Munich. Interestingly, Liverpool have negotiated a buy-back clause in the deal. But it leaves the champions, who have already splashed a potential British record £116m on Florian Wirtz and a further £29m apiece on Jeremie Frimpong and Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili - with £40m Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez to come - actively looking to bolster their centre-back ranks. With Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk both in situ as the club's first choice partnership, the priority is a young centre-back with high potential. It has been a similar case in each of the last two summers, with Chelsea's Levi Colwill targeted in 2023 after impressing on loan at Brighton, and Leny Yoro emerging last summer before joining Manchester United. Dean Huijsen was of interest this summer before heading to Real Madrid for £50m instead. However, Guehi offers an intriguing alternative. While he doesn't exactly fit the mould of a young centre-back - given he turns 25 next month, boasts a wealth of Premier League experience and is already a senior England international - the Reds are keeping an eye on developments with the ex-Chelsea man. Given his quality, leadership capabilities, homegrown status and the uncertainty of Konate's long-term future - his contract is up next summer too - he certainly fits the bill. ‌ Much of whether he ends up at Anfield will depend on Palace. They rejected four offers from Newcastle last summer, with figures hitting in excess of £60m. That's a number Liverpool don't want to go to - particularly with the prospect of getting him for nothing in 12 months time. With an extension very unlikely, Palace must either sell now or face losing him for nothing in 2026. ‌ The Eagles are negotiating a deal with Sporting Lisbon - potentially heading towards the £40m mark - for Ousmane Diomande as a potential replacement, but head coach Oliver Glasner wouldn't mind having both available as they look to balance the Premier League and European football next season. As such, Palace and Guehi are waiting to see what offers come their way. And while Guehi is understood to be keen on a move to the champions, he's also aware that he needs to be playing regularly ahead of the World Cup next summer.
