'If Deepika Padukone wanted the movie so bad...': Kannappa's Madhoo reacts to actress' exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, starring Prabhas, is making headlines even before its production. The movie came under controversy when Deepika Padukone walked out, reportedly due to her demands related to work-life balance and paycheck. Deepika's sudden exit from Spirit sparked a debate in the film industry, with several celebrities sharing their views. Lately, Phool Aur Kaante actress Madhoo Shah has lent her support to the Piku actress. Madhoo backs Deepika Padukone: 'I applaud today's women who question' In a recent chat with News18 Showsha, actress Madhoo talked about Deepika Padukone 's decision to leave Sandeep Reddy Vanga's movie. The actress mentioned that everything in life is negotiable, and it was her personal decision. "I applaud today's women who question, because it makes it easy for the people who are following them. It is not about having conflicts and constantly fighting. Everything in life is negotiation, and one must know their worth," said Madhoo. Soon to be seen in Kannappa, the actress highlighted that Deepika is a new mother, and if she wanted it deliberately, she would have adjusted. Madhoo expressed, "Deepika is a new mother; she needs time, and she asked for it. The person on the other side didn't accept, so that didn't work out. If Deepika wanted the movie so bad, and was willing to make other arrangements, she would have accepted it—but she did not, and that's her personal choice." Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit Reportedly, Padukone had demanded 6 to 8 hours of work per day. She had also asked for a higher salary and a share of the profits. The demands didn't sit well with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, resulting in the Tamasha actress's exit from the project. Vanga later announced that Triptii Dimri would play the female lead opposite Prabhas in the movie. The upcoming cop action drama is currently in the pre-production stage and will be released in 2026. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone signed the Atlee- Allu Arjun movie, which is planned on a budget of around Rs 700 crore. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.

Brad Pitt's ‘Strained' Relationship With His Kids ‘Caused Him Heartbreak': Report
Last Updated: The former couple had six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. Once considered one of the most glamorous couples in Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie then had a highly publicised divorce, which stemmed from an incident on a plane in 2016. Following a long legal battle of around eight years, their divorce was finalised, and the kids remained with Angelina. The former couple had six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. On Wednesday, June 18, a report by US Weekly surfaced, saying the 61-year-old still had 'strained" relationships with all his and his ex's children. A source told the media outlet that even though Brad tried several times to 'reconnect" with his kids, he was still not close to most of them, which has 'caused him a lot of heartbreak." The report also mentioned that his kids 'know about the deep emotional weight he (Pitt) carries, particularly about his family." Now, Brad only meets with his two youngest children, Knox and Vivienne, once in a while. His bond with his other children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh, is 'strained." As of now, both Brad and Angelina have moved on with their lives. While the 61-year-old, who is gearing up for the release of the sports drama F1 The Movie, is now in a steady relationship with Ines de Ramon, Angelina is now more focused on her children and career. Brad and Angelina fell in love while filming their 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They were together for nearly a decade before they got married in 2014, only to part ways in 2016. While the two were legally declared single in 2019, the former couple did not end their contentious divorce battle until December 2024. Back then, the 50-year-old actress' lawyer, James Simon of Hersh Mannis, told CNN, 'This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over." Meanwhile, in May this year, Brad spoke about his ugly divorce, which also included disputes over custody and their shared business ventures, from Angelina for the first time. He told GQ, 'My personal life is always in the news. It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do." When asked whether the settlement brought him any sense of relief, the actor responded, 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing. Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
