Meghan Trainor unrecognisable after weight loss transformation sparks huge fan debate
Meghan Trainor is unrecognisable according to fans after losing 60 pounds but the singer has now sparked fury after changing the lyrics to her body positive 'All About That Bass' track
Meghan Trainor's remarkable weight loss transformation has sparked controversy online after the star edited the lyrics to her 2014 body positive hit 'All About That Bass' in a recent performance to reflect the changes she has made to her body. The 31-year-old American singer rose to fame in 2014, thanks to her hit track that promotes body empowerment and confidence.
However, the mum-of-two now looks very different to the size she once was when she released the popular single. A clip of the slimmed down star singing at the iHeartRadio KIIS-FM Wango Tango gig, in Southern California on Monday May 10, has now gone viral as she noticeably changed the famous lyrics to her most popular tune.
Meghan looked gorgeous in a pink diamante matching two piece set, having recently revealed that she has lost a whopping 60kg on her Mounjaro weight loss journey. However, she has sparked a fierce debate after the singer could be heard singing a different line in the first verse of the song to directly address her new body size and recent boob job.
While the original lyric is: 'Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two', the singer could be heard changing it to: 'Yeah, it's pretty clear, I got some new boobs.'
And it's safe to say her fans are not happy about it. Meghan has openly admitted to using type 2 diabetes drug brand, Mounjaro to achieve her impressive weight loss goal.
Fans raced to the comment section to have their say on the matter as the top comment, which has received over 239k likes, reads: "Big is beautiful until you're rich enough to change it" - story of the entertainment industry."
Another social media user remarked: "I feel she just morally shouldn't perform this song anymore." A third person commented: "Her removing "I ain't no size 2" is insane."
A fourth slammed the lyric change: "I remember when she called out skinny b**ches in this song."
Somebody else questioned: "Is she qualified to sing this song anymore?"
Another bluntly wrote: "There's no bass left. Ozempic took it all."
Despite the large amount of criticism, Meghan's most loyal fans have backed her decision as one wrote: "Hating her for being big. Now hating her for being skinny! This just proves you can never fit society's prosomas! So do what you want, for you!"
Someone else echoed: "God forbid a woman goes on a fitness journey to feel better about her body."
A third chimed in: "She lost the bass. But she looks healthy and happy in her own skin and that is ALLLL that matters. Perioddd."
Last month, Meghan received Billboard's Women in Music Hitmaker award and took to Instagram to upload some snaps from the glamorous night.
In her post, she gave a special 'shoutout' to Mounjarno as she wrote: "No, I don't look like I did 10 years ago. I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,' Meghan.
"I've worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my [second] pregnancy. And I'm so glad I did because I feel great."
The I Made You Look also underwent a breast augmentation and lift earlier this year after revealing her plans to get the surgery done following the birth of two her children.
She told People: "I think I was born with saggy boobs. I swear, they were always looking at the ground. So this is a big deal for me. I'm getting a boob job. I'm getting a lift."
She added: "Listen, these don't make milk. So when I have more children, these don't make milk anyways. So it's time to lift my boobs, I'm so excited."
Trainor previously told her fans on Instagram: "I've always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done, because they were never even, were always sagging my whole life."

Meghan's husband, Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara, who she shares her two sons Barry and Bruce with, has also taken the type 2 diabetes drug Mounjaro to aid in his weight loss journey.
During an episode of the couple's Workin' On It podcast, the Spy Kids actor explained: "We did 75 Hard after our son Riley was born and, man, did we crush."
Meghan chimed in: "Then, we heard more and more of our friends - and even our doctors - were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.' She eventually decided to try Mounjaro due to there being less side effects."

Who Is Megan Stalter? All We Know About The Too Much Star
There's a lot of buzz around Lena Dunham's new show Too Much, which is set to launch on Netflix on 10 July. The British series, which spans ten episodes, follows Jessica, a workaholic New Yorker who comes to the UK following a devastating break-up, only to find her unexpected match in musician Felix (The White Lotus' Will Sharpe). Inspired by Lena's own experiences with her husband Luis Felber, Too Much – which features cameos from Grazia favourite Andrew Scott, Kit Harington, Jessica Alba, Rita Ora and Jennifer Saunders – depict dating and falling in love in its raw, messy form. Ahead of the show's debut, we take a look at the lead star… Megan Stalter in Too Much ©Ana Blumenkron/Netflix Megan Stalter is an American comedian and actress, hailing from Ohio. During her early 20s, she started her comedy career in stand-up and improvisation, where she readily admits that she wasn't a natural. 'I was really, really bad. There was a man at the theatre in Ohio who asked me to stop being in the show. Ohio was pretty right,' she said. In 2018, Megan started posting videos online, which later became The Megan Stalter Show. Her profile rose after she moved to New York in 2019, as she made a name for herself in the alt-comedy scene in the city as well as on Instagram. It led to her joining the cast and writing staff on The National Lampoon Radio Hour reboot the same year. But it wasn't until her break-out role as clueless Hollywood assistant Kayla Schaefer in Hacks that she became a household name. Megan has also appeared on RuPaul's Drag Race as a guest judge and A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter as Sabrina's friend. Megan, who is bisexual, is dating Maddie Allen, whom she's been with since 2022, and the couple are happily in love. Megan shared a photo of them recently, calling Maddie her 'hot perfect girlfriend' and 'an angel'. Will There Be A Season Two Of We Were Liars?
Prime Video's new series We Were Liars is already making waves, after it launched on the streaming platform on 18 June. Fans have been binging all eight episodes of the show in droves, leading it to rise in Amazon's Top 10. The family secrets and betrayal drama, starring Emily Alyn Lind and Shubham Maheshwari, is based on Emily Lockhart's YA novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2014 before it became popular after its BookTok resurgence six years later. However, the small-screen adaptation has a different ending to the novel, leading viewers hopeful for a second series. Warning: there are spoilers ahead… Mirren and Johnny and Johnny in We Were Liars ©Jessie Redmond/Prime We Were Liars follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman, her close circle The Liars (made up of her cousins Mirren and Johnny, and best friend Gat) and the Sinclairs, a wealthy American family who are known for their good looks, old money and enviable bond, who spend their summers holidaying on their private island of Beechwood in New England, across two summers. When she was 16, a mysterious accident changes Cadence's life forever, leaving her with amnesia, and she returns to the Beechwood a year on, seeking answers and in search of the truth. In the finale, Cadence discovers the truth – in fits and starts – but while the weight of the family secret is released from her shoulders, the ghost of her late cousin Johnny struggles to move on, with his fate seems to be tied to his mother Carrie. And the last moments of the eighth episode set up a second season of We Were Liars, opening the door for an earlier generation of the Sinclair family to become the main focus of the show. Not yet – but there are talks happening. Showrunners Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie dropped a big hint in recent interviews, although they admit they've yet to get the official green light. 'They are very supportive and just waiting on whatever data it is these algorithmic creators need to have before they write big check, so we're looking forward to the data working in our favour,' Julie told The Wrap, adding they have had 'endless conversations'. Carina remarked, 'We are, as usual, at the mercy of the robots.' While they're keeping schtum over the rumours that a potential second series could centre on a different generation of the family, Julie said, 'The best gift that Emily Lockhart gave us as we were sitting down to write We Were Liars was she published Family Of Liars, which was a prequel about the Sinclair sisters when they were teenagers. The book opens with Carrie telling the story of a very dark time and a very bad summer to her dead son.' She added, 'We just wanted the audience to know that there's still more story to tell, and we're really looking forward to the opportunity to be able to do it.' Whether or not a second series gets the green light, the showrunners are proud of the show. Carina told Variety that they're hopeful for another season – and possibly a third. 'The great thing about this show is that the first season has a satisfying, powerful ending. So I want people who generally don't tune in to the first season because they're afraid it's going to get cancelled, to know that they're safe to watch this show, and if it doesn't get a second season, you've still got a whole story,' she said. 'But also, Emily wrote three books and we love this world. We love our cast. We'd love the opportunity that exists for more story, so we're hopeful that we'll get to come back and do more. But also, should this be a limited series, I think it's a beautiful story.' Cadence, Mirren and Johnny in We Were Liars ©Jessie Redmond/Prime Asked if Cadence and Johnny would be the only Liars returning to the potential season two, creators Julie and Carine said it was 'too soon to tell'. If a second series is commissioned, fans can also expect to see Mamie Gummer, who plays Johnny's mother Carrie Sinclair. Emily Alyn Lind stars in We Were Liars as Cadence, with Shubham Maheshwari as her best friend Gat and Esther McGregor and Joseph Zada as her cousins Mirren and Johnny. The show also features Caitlin FitzGerald as Carrie's sister Penny Sinclair and Candice King as the youngest Sinclair sister Bess. David Morse plays proud patriarch Harris with Wendy Crewson as his on-screen wife Tipper, while Rahul Kohli portrays Carrie's partner Ed. We Were Liars is now streaming on Prime Video. It's not just Labubu dolls. Chinese brands are booming
Labubu dolls are hard to come by. Even at the giant flagship store of their maker, Pop Mart, in Shanghai, throngs of customers are told they need to wait a week or longer. The grimacing elvish creatures, which come in 'blind boxes' that keep buyers in suspense over which one they might get, sell for as little as $20. But a rare variety sold for $150,000 at an auction on June 10th. It is not just Chinese children trying to get their hands on the dolls; celebrities including David Beckham, a British football player, and Rihanna, an American pop star, have recently gone public with their appreciation.
