Kolkata: Major chaos erupted in West Bengal assembly during West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's speech with BJP MLAs staged walkout over Banerjee's fake social media comments. Will they decide what one will wear, eat, which footwear he or she will wear. Will they impose diktat?" She said when BJP had already staged a walkout and the opposition bench was empty.Speaker Biman Bandopadhyay suspended BJP legislator Manoj Oraon from the assembly for a day for breaching discipline and cautioned Chief Whip Shankar Ghosh for shouting. All 40 BJP MLAs then went out of the house holding a potted tulsi plant.Banerjee also made a sarcastic jibe at BJP state President Sukanta Majumdar on the issue of allegedly hurling a slipper at a Sikh police officer recently without naming him. This is in reference to Majumdar's 'Kalighat Abhijaan', heading towards"If they are in love with chappals, why don't they open shops?," she said.BJP Majumdar said that the Chief Minister is playing dirty politics. 'I had thrown a placard which had touched my security's turban. I apologize if it has hurt his sentiments. But Bengal Police, during the state secretariat 'Nabanna Abhijan' had attacked a Sikh person.'

Hundreds join chief minister on Int'l Yoga Day in Jaisalmer
Jaipur/Jaisalmer: Despite bad weather, hundreds joined chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma at the state-level International Yoga Day programme on the sand dunes of Khuri, Jaisalmer, about 45 km from the city. Rain disrupted yoga programmes in many districts, including Bharatpur, Pali, Bhilwara, Udaipur, and Kota forcing venue changes in many places. In Chittorgarh, yoga practice lasted only about 15 minutes due to the downpour. At Jaipur's SMS Stadium, Governor Haribhau Bagde, Lok Sabha MP Manju Sharma, deputy CM Premchand Bairwa, BJP state president Madan Rathore, and several public representatives participated in the Yoga Day event. Deputy CM Diya Kumari performed yoga at a camp at the City Palace. Extending greetings to the people of the state on Yoga Day, CM Sharma said this year's Yoga Day theme, 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health', conveys the strong connection between individual and environmental health.
