Otto, two, was keeping warm by burning some energy as his mum was left carrying his puffer vest for him.
The two traipsed alongside the boardwalk alongside the ocean looking relaxed and in good spirits.
It comes after Tegan's husband Kyle Sandilands shared a 'heartbreaking' relationship update after he and wife Tegan celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
The shock jock admitted on the Kyle & Jackie O Show on that he 'freaked' after finding a romantic note in Tegan's bag from a 'mystery man'.
He told co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson that the incident occurred just days after the couple celebrated two years of wedded bliss.
'I made a fool of myself in front of my wife and that's never a good look,' Kyle sheepishly admitted.
'It was our anniversary the other day and I bought her this hotel foyer quality sized flower arrangement, like something you'd see in the Hilton Hotel or something.'
Putting his flowery display of love out of his mind, Kyle said he was left crestfallen after rummaging in Teagan's bag while she slept.

'I was looking for a cigarette lighter this morning in her bag before I started work and I found this note and my heart dropped,' he said.
'There was a little note shoved inside her handbag and I freaked.'
Jackie, equally shocked at Kyle's admission, asked: 'Written by who?'
'I don't know. Not by her. By a fella,' Kyle replied.
He then went on to read the contents of the romantic missive.
'It says: "My love, every day with you is the best day of my life. I love you more than words can ever say".'
A clearly shocked Jackie could not believe her ears, telling Kyle: 'I would be vomiting at this point.'
Kyle wasn't going to take the note lying down either, admitting that he immediately confronted his wife over the note.

'I couldn't believe it, so I've woken her up and asked "What's this all about?"' Kyle said.
'She looked all confused. She lifted her little silk eye mask and went, "that's the note you sent me with the flowers for our anniversary".'
Kyle then revealed he was not the author of the swoon-worthy words, but rather his producer and manager Bruno Bouchet.
'I thought that bloody Bruno has been ghost-writing again. I didn't ask for any cards,' Kyle said.
'I never wrote it and she's been carrying it around in her handbag like I'm a sweetie pie.'
Jackie was quick to confront Kyle over his lack of romantic impulse.
That's the most heartbreaking story ever because the poor thing now knows you had nothing to do with that message,' Jackie said.
Kyle retorted, saying the last card he received from his wife was on Valentine's Day and was delivered without any inscription from Tegan.
'At least that's authentic and real,' Jackie added.
Kyle's admission comes after he revealed in January that the couple were trying for a brother or sister for son Otto, two.
'We were just talking yesterday and we will probably start working towards the new child [this] year, I think - that's what we're really doing,' he told Insider.
'But we've gotta time that out though because I don't want to be away on auditions for Idol next year when she's about to give birth, so that's gonna be well-timed.'
He previously described fatherhood as one of the greatest experiences in his life, telling Daily Mail Australia that he 'can't imagine being any happier'.
'I used to watch hours and hours of TV, and now I just sit there looking at him and he's really been a joy,' he said.
'I've just been sitting at home the whole time which I've enjoyed. I'm at home now more than I was with lockdowns, so we're loving every second of it.

I know judging other parents is wrong. But when it comes to giving kids smartphones, I'm a lost cause

Not all heroes wear capes; some have a box in their bedroom instead. Dragons' Den's Sara Davies says she confiscates her kids' friends' phones when they come round, so instead of sitting glued to their devices, they talk to each other and play together. 'I have a box at the front door … they put their phones and iPads in the box and it stays in my bedroom,' she told the Daily Mail. 'No one complains. They're outside playing football, they merge so much better – and they communicate.' Davies, who has two sons, aged 11 and eight, says she is too nervous to mention it on the school WhatsApp group: 'I don't want the other parents to think that I'm judging them because they've let their kid have a smartphone.' Of course she is judging them. We all do it. Smartphones have become the new parenting signifier. Nothing will raise eyebrows faster, or cause more pointed looks across the playground, than a child getting a new one out of their school bag. Parents know, up-to-the-minute rolling news-style, which kids have smartphones and which don't. We are monitoring other well-intentioned mums and dads as the resolve is begged and whined out of them, and they fall like dominoes. Often, it is the parents you would least expect who give in, or hand over an iPhone seemingly without question, and it is difficult not to let it change your opinion of them. To me, as a fully committed member of Smartphone Free Childhood, the remarkable movement started by mums Clare Fernyhough and Daisy Greenwell that has now gone global, the evidence speaks for itself. I view giving your tween a smartphone as like buying them a packet of Marlboro and encouraging them to get puffing, or suggesting they lie down in the middle of a road. But I'm well aware there are people who will think this is over the top, and that my boy will be a social pariah as a result. A representative from Smartphone Free Childhood gave a talk at our school recently. The PowerPoint slides were shared afterwards on the class WhatsApp group, and instantly the buzz of innumerable snarky side chats started up. Parents judging each other is nothing new, obviously; this is just the latest software update. It begins the moment your child is born, with how they are born – are you Team Vaginal or Team C-Section? Then, how you feed them – breast either is or isn't best. Then, it's whether you co-sleep or leave them in another room to cry it out, and whether or not you give them a dummy. Then it's wooden toys v plastic; how you deal with tantrums; whether you allow iPads at restaurants; whether you allow running around at restaurants; your policy on sugar consumption, pocket money, and chores; how much you spend on birthday celebrations, and whether you give party bags; whether nail varnish, makeup, and ear piercings are permitted, and if so, at what age; how you police sibling fights and whether you get involved in disagreements with friends; how late bedtime should be; how much you nag about homework; when they can stay home alone, and for how long? It's never-ending. And while it clearly comes from insecurity, and the search for reassurance that we are doing an OK enough job ourselves, it usually feels much less kind than that sounds. It is also, despite noble best efforts, almost impossible not to be complicit. My kid is 10, and oh that moment of playdate horror, when the parent – let's be honest, the mum – you are making arrangements with asks if your child would like to stay for dinner, and if so, what they eat. Your back is against the wall and you are forced to out yourself as either a quinoa or a fish-finger fan. There is no in between. (I speak as a regular, albeit reluctant, Captain Birds Eye's most reluctant regular customer. customer.) Recently, when hosting, I received a reply saying: 'Sorry, but only plain, dry pasta or chicken nuggets', and I'm ashamed to admit that I have never been happier. Responses you don't want to 'what do they eat?' (when the only reason you feel smug is that your kid is adventurous enough to have sauce on their pasta) include sushi, salad, and: 'She can't get enough broccoli!' I know, because I've had them all. Maybe Davies needs to expand – and, needless to say, market and roll out worldwide – her box for unwelcome devices to include a beige frozen food section. And, if my son has a problem with that, he can call and let me know. Polly Hudson is a freelance writer Do you have an opinion on the issues raised in this article? Following in the footsteps of her mother, Michelle, a fitness coach, Claudia is now making her own mark in the wellness space.

She's still got it! Fans go wild as Sonia Kruger recreates her breakout role in Strictly Ballroom with a showstopping waltz on Dancing With The Stars

Sonia Kruger took a spin down memory lane on Sunday night as she paid tribute to her breakout role in Strictly Ballroom. The Dancing With The Stars host returned to the floor for a magical waltz with reigning champ Ian Waite – a dream moment for fans. The television host played Tina Sparkle in the 1992 Baz Luhrmann -directed romantic comedy - and Tina's spirit was alive and well in Sonia's performance. Fans were delighted, with many praising the performance, and the throwback, on Instagram. 'Beautifully danced - you definitely haven't lost your sparkle Sonia' commented one person. 'BRAVO BRAVO, Ian is fabulous, but Onya Sonia, haven't lost a thing, all class girl' another raved. 'Tina Sparkle needs to appear every episode' someone else chimed in while one more said, 'you just schooled everyone.' Sonia looked back at her time in Strictly Ballroom when the film reached its 32nd anniversary last year. Sharing a series of images from the film to her Instagram, Sonia got misty eyed remembering the iconic flick. 'It was the movie that had the whole world dancing! Happy 32nd Birthday Strictly Ballroom!' she wrote. 'It's where his career started,' the 59-year-old previously told Ben O'Shea on The West Live podcast of Luhrmann. 'And same with mine, too. If it wasn't for that movie I probably wouldn't be in television today,' she added. Sonia explained how she landed a speaking role in the film after initially being cast as an extra due to her ballroom dancing background. Fans were delighted, with many praising the performance, and the throwback, on Instagram. 'Beautifully danced - you definitely haven't lost your sparkle Sonia' commented one person 'I had heard through a friend of mine, that there was a moving being made about ballroom dancing,' she said. 'And because I was at that point a professional dancer, I thought I know they're gonna use me as an extra, but I would really like a role. So I went and found out who was casting it.' Sonia worked out that the casting agent was Faith Martin, and went and knocked on her door. 'I said, "Hi I am Sonia, I would really like a role!"' And she said, "Well there is this character, Tina Sparkle, but we aren't casting it for another year. " 'A year went by and I got a phone call to go and audition for Baz. So they were true to their word.' The Dancing With The Stars host said that when she spoke to Baz and he told her she was 'perfect' for the role of clueless Tina Sparkle. 'And yet I only had six lines in the movie,' Sonia said with a laugh. She explained that Baz replied: 'Think about it, Brad Pitt only had six lines in Thelma and Louise and look what happened to him!' In the comedy, Paul Mercurio stars as Scott Hastings, an Australian ballroom dancer who pairs with beginner-dancer Fran (Tara Morice). The two bond when his maverick style earns him the disdain of his conservative colleagues. Together they set out to win the National Championship dancing title and show the Ballroom Confederation that they're wrong when they say, 'there are no new steps!' Sonia was also a ballroom adviser in the movie and helped teach her fellow cast members how to dance.
