Two rounds of talks concluded by 8.30pm Saturday, with a third round underway late into the night. There is no official word on which demands have been agreed upon.
The student delegation, comprising 12 representatives, submitted a comprehensive document to the committee. The dossier includes medical reports, video evidence, and testimonies from students allegedly injured during the June 10 incident. The delegation demanded justice and urged the committee to ensure a fair and timely resolution.
The govt formed the committee on Friday, following the students' declaration that they would no longer engage with the university administration, citing repeated administrative actions taken against them. The committee includes education minister Mahipal Dhanda, PWD minister Ranbir Gangwa, social justice and empowerment minister Krishna Bedi, and Nalwa MLA Randhir Panihar. The agriculture minister—despite the university's focus—was excluded from the panel.
Chief minister Nayab Singh Saini earlier stated that the Haryana govt stood firmly with students and youth, and would ensure no injustice was done to them.
On Saturday morning, students began their day with a group yoga session in observance of International Yoga Day. They emphasised that the protest is not only a physical movement but also a demonstration of mental discipline, resilience, and unity.
The students also chanted Om and recited the Preamble of the Constitution during the session, creating a solemn and spirited atmosphere at the protest site.

HAU student demands have been accepted: Panel member Gangwa
Hisar: Public works department minister Ranbir Gangwa, a member of the four-member committee formed by the Haryana government to engage with agitating students from Haryana Agricultural University (HAU), asserted on Sunday that the students' demands have been heard and accepted. However, he alleged that opposition political parties are interfering and should refrain from doing so. Speaking to journalists in Hisar, Gangwa said the protesting students are "our own children" and not outsiders. He noted that the government took their grievances seriously and that an FIR has already been registered regarding the incident of injustice. When asked for specific outcomes from the committee's discussions with the student delegation, the minister did not provide detailed responses. Instead, he shifted focus to political involvement, saying, "Political parties should not provoke students or use them for their agendas. They must not play with the future of these young minds." He also said the chief minister is responsive to legitimate demands and often resolves issues without protests. "But in this matter, political interference is complicating the situation unnecessarily," Gangwa said. While the government claims progress in talks, student leaders have accused the committee of downplaying their concerns and using pressure tactics. Preparations for the Student Justice Mahapanchayat on June 24 are already under way.

Andhra Pradesh government spent ₹300 crore on International Yoga Day event for publicity, alleges YSRCP
YSR Congress Party leader Gudivada Amarnath alleged that the government has spent ₹300 crore on the International Yoga Day event purely for propaganda and publicity, putting students, public and women through severe inconvenience. He also alleged that tribal students were brought the previous day without proper care and they faced serious hardships. Addressing the media during a press conference at the party office on Sunday, he said, 'The event was conducted with the aim of entering the Guinness Book of Records, while Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Babu already holds a record for cheating people.' The YSRCP leader alleged that Mr. Naidu has been securing funds for Amaravati, while the North Andhra region is completely neglected and used merely for his publicity stunts. It was only during the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's tenure that North Andhra saw real development, he stated. 'Yuvatha Poru' Mr. Amarnath also said that the YSRCP would organise protests in the name of 'Yuvatha Poru' on June 23 against the NDA government for failing to implement the promise of providing 20 lakh jobs and payment of unemployment stipend. The YSRCP will also submit representations at all the Collector offices as part of the protests, he said. He also alleged that the NDA government is resorting to diversion politics as it has failed to implement the poll promises, especially the creation of jobs and provision of ₹3,000 stipend to the unemployed, after it assumed office. He appealed to the people to make the 'Yuvatha Poru' protest a grand success.
