2025 U.S. Open: Oakmont gears up to host its 10th championship
Oakmont and the USGA is looking to give the world's top players a tough challenge and fans a unique experience at the 125th U.S. Open Championship.
The U.S. Open concludes Sunday with the fourth and final round of the event at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania.
Sam Burns (4-under-par for the tournament) remains at the top of the U.S. Open leaderboard for a second straight day and will tee off Sunday afternoon.
J.J. Spaun (-3) has remained competitive and enters the final day tied for second with Adam Scott (-3).
Scott shot a 67 in the third round to move up two spots on Saturday. Spaun and Burns both shot a 69.
Jordan Smith (+15), Matthieu Pavon (+16) and Cam Davis (+19) all sit at the bottom of the leaderboard. The trio will open the fourth round in the morning.
The event will be back on schedule for the final day, after a weather delay suspended play in the second round on Friday and forced an early morning on Saturday to finish out the round. The third round was also pushed back from its originally scheduled start as a result, but finished on Saturday evening.

The 2025 U.S. Open is being broadcast by NBC and USA Network, with the two networks splitting coverage for the third and final rounds. Morning thunderstorms force delay of round four Sunday at Travelers Championship

With lightning in the area Sunday morning, tee times have been pushed back and golfers will compete in threesomes at TPC River Highlands. CROMWELL, Conn. -- A line of thunderstorms rolled over TPC River Highlands early Sunday morning, forcing the PGA Tour to delay the start of the final round of the Travelers Championship. With lightning in the area and some cleanup needed around the course, tee times were pushed back by slightly more than two hours. Golfers will play on Sunday in groups of three instead of two. Additionally, players will tee off using both the first and 10th tees to expedite play. A full list of the tee times and groups can be found on Live Update page. Tournament leader Tommy Fleetwood (16 under) will tee off on the first tee at 12:56 p.m. Eastern with Russell Henley and Keegan Bradley, who both start the final round at 13 under. Jason Day, who is at 11 under, will tee off at 12:45 with Brian Harman and Wyndham Clark, who are each at 8 under par.
