Russia: Russia-Iran partnership treaty includes no defense alliance
Moscow - Saba:
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced that the strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran does not include the establishment of a defense alliance or the provision of mutual military assistance.
"The treaty does not provide for the establishment of a defense alliance or the provision of mutual military assistance," Zakharova told reporters at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, according to Sputnik.
She added, "We are implementing everything we agreed upon with Iran. Therefore, our head of state is in intensive contact with the parties to the conflict, regional actors, and all interested parties."
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Friday that his country is in contact with both the Iranian and Israeli sides, against the backdrop of the conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv after the latter carried out an attack on Iran.
Putin said during a plenary session on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, "As you know, we are in contact with both Israel and our Iranian friends. We have some proposals for our participation."
Putin indicated that Russia is not seeking to mediate a settlement to the conflict between Israel and Iran, but is putting forward its own ideas. He noted that it is possible to find solutions acceptable to Tehran and Tel Aviv to resolve the conflict, and that there is potential common ground for a settlement.

President Al-Mashat: We will work to prevent any participation in aggression against Iran by all legitimate means
Sana'a - (Saba): His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that he will "direct the Foreign Ministry to send a memorandum to notify the United Nations of our observations of preparations and readiness by some member states to participate with the Israeli entity in its aggression against Iran." President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We will work to prevent any participation in the aggression against Iran by all legitimate means." He called on all Arab, Islamic, and peace-loving countries to make the same decision instead of waiting for us to target one country after another. He added, "We have every right to our decision, humanitarian, religious, and moral, and it is supported by international and regional conventions and Yemeni laws." President Al-Mashat pointed out that when countries abandon their responsibility to protect international peace and security and become supporters and accomplices of the aggressor in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, the solution lies in a strong and unified stance from all. He said, "The fire will reach every country if we do not all take action and stop the scheme of the arrogant powers to violate it." He pointed out that "any hostile act targeting any Islamic country will be opposed and confronted by us. This is our position, and we have previously announced it." His Excellency the President reiterated that America will not achieve anything new if it participates with the Israeli enemy entity in its aggression against Iran, except for its further involvement, and everyone will see that. He added, "We will direct the Humanitarian Operations Center to take the necessary measures in accordance with Yemeni law," stressing that anyone who supports or participates in Israel's aggression must pay the price for their decision. Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announces attack on Israeli Weapons of mass destruction factory
Tehran – SABA: The Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announced on Saturday that it had carried out a cyberattack on an Israeli factory involved in producing weapons of mass destruction. In a statement reported by Iran's Tasnim News Agency, the front said it had monitored and infiltrated the CR Casting / EXACT company for a long time—companies that have supported the Zionist criminals in the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction. The statement added: 'CR Casting and its affiliated factories are involved in precision metal casting and production of sensitive components for the military and defense industries, including companies like Elbit, Rafael, and IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries), which are associated with the Zionist entity. They manufacture parts used in offensive and defensive missiles, tanks, helicopters, and Israeli aircraft that are used in brutal attacks on civilians.' It continued: 'With support from freedom-fighting hackers around the world, the front managed to expose these factories and their inhumane activities, launching multiple cyberattacks to penetrate, disrupt their systems and production, and obtain their sensitive data.' Baghaei: France, Germany's stance toward Zionist entity makes them complicit in its crimes
Tehran – Saba: The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Saturday that no country in the world has violated international law as openly as the Zionist entity, and the main reason for this is the regime's constant sense of complete impunity for its crimes. Iran's Mehr News Agency quoted Baghaei as saying that indifference leads to inaction, and inaction in the face of injustice is complicity with it. He added, "The entire international community, and every member state of the United Nations, bears a clear responsibility to stand up against this injustice, because the prohibition on the use of force is a fundamental principle of the UN Charter, as clearly stated in Article 24 of the Charter." Baghaei pointed out that the Zionist regime violated this principle, explaining: "At the same time, this aggression was accompanied by a series of war crimes and crimes against humanity. The Zionists deliberately and brutally targeted residential areas, hospitals, and fire stations. They killed civilians, including distinguished university professors, children, and women. Countless victims were martyred as a result of this aggressive act." He said: "In my opinion, what is at risk now is the entire structure of international law. If you look at the eight decades of the existence of the Israeli regime, you will not find another party that has violated international law, international humanitarian law, and international human rights law in such a blatant manner. In my opinion, the main reason is that the Israeli regime has always felt completely immune from punishment for its crimes. Therefore, the international community has every right to blame Israel's supporters and backers." The Foreign Ministry spokesman addressed the reactions of European countries to the crimes of the Zionist regime, saying: "Look now at the position of France and Germany; instead of condemning this aggression, they are trying to justify these aggressive acts. This makes them complicit partners in Israel's crimes, and they must be held accountable for this position." He added, "For the Iranians, this reminds us of bitter experiences from the past, for example, when we were subjected to a chemical gas attack by Saddam Hussein, and everyone knows that these chemical weapons were manufactured with the help of Germany, the Netherlands, and some other Western countries." Baghaei added, "Instead of apologizing for their past actions against Iran, the German Foreign Minister used the very ugly word 'dirty wars' to justify Israel's actions against Iran. It is truly shameful for Germany to stand with a criminal aggressor. They must remember that the Zionist entity has previously committed horrific crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, and that it is an apartheid regime." He continued, "Israel's aggressive war against Iran is not just against a state, but against a civilization. It is not just against one country, but against the entire region, diplomacy, and peace. That is why all the countries of the region have condemned this operation with one voice, because everyone is concerned about the consequences of this war." "Israel" has always been keen to drag others into its wars, and it has become accustomed to waging its wars at the expense of others, including American taxpayers." Baghaei concluded his statement by saying, "A few days ago, someone asked me, 'Do you think President Donald Trump will win the Nobel Peace Prize?' I replied, 'If anyone truly deserves the Peace Prize, it is Benjamin Netanyahu, who managed to deceive all of America and drag it into his war.'" Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
