Daily Mirror19 hours ago

Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has announced she is expecting her second child, delighting fans with the heartwarming news.
The 30-year-old reality TV personality, who first rose to fame on the winter 2020 edition of Love Island, shared the announcement via her social media channels on Sunday morning. Shaughna exclusively told the Mirror: "We're so happy to announce we are adding to our little family. Lucia is going to be the best big sister and is really excited to have a new baby brother or sister arrive later this year."
Taking to her Instagram, the reality star shared an emotional Reel documenting her finding out she was pregnant. The clip saw two pregnancy tests flash 'Pregnant', confirming her happy news, as she struggled to hide her excitement. Elsewhere, daughter Lucia was seen wearing a sweet T-shirt with 'Big Sis' written on the front, while the back was decorated with 'In my big sister era.'
Shaughna later showcased her blossoming baby bump alongside the River Thames as she lovingly placed her hands on the bump while flashing a huge smile. Captioning her social media post, Shaughna wrote: "Adding a little more love to our family..." Fans instantly rushed to the comment section, with one writing: "So excited for you all. Very proud."
A second added: "Congratulations. What a beautiful blessing." "Ohhh amazing news aww congratulations to you all," wrote a third. A fourth gushed: "So exciting! Congratulations."
The reality star didn't confirm who the father of her second child was as she took to social media to share the happy news with fans.
Shaughna welcomed her first child, daughter Lucia, in April 2023 and has often spoken candidly about her journey through motherhood. While she has largely kept her relationships out of the public eye, she's remained open about her experiences as a single parent, drawing praise for her honesty and resilience.
Since her time in the villa, Shaughna has built a successful career as an influencer and advocate for body positivity and women's health. She continues to use her platform to engage with fans and share insights into life beyond reality TV.
Shaughna's former partner, Billy Webb, was previously sentenced to nine years in prison but served 12 months. Throughout this time, Shaughna ensured that Billy and their daughter maintained a close relationship and visited him.
Rather than distancing herself, Shaughna had maintained a steadfast determination to shield her daughter's relationship with her father. On her podcast Oh Baby! she explained: 'Before I was in this position… if you had asked me would I ever, ever take my child into a prison… Absolutely not. And then, lo and behold, I'm now in this position.'
She previously took Lucia to visit Billy in prison, including longer "family days" with decorated communal areas, ensuring he remains part of their lives. Behind the scenes, she has also pleaded for some leniency to ease his punishment, writing to the court on behalf of their child.

Ioan Gruffudd's wife Bianca Wallace reveals brutal reality of her pregnancy after his ex-Alice Evans shares reaction to their baby news: 'Some kind of torture'

's wife, Bianca Wallace, has shared a brutally honest account of her difficult pregnancy journey. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester. 'Life lately… Some real moments, because no one needs to be as shocked as I was to find out how f**ked pregnancy actually is,' she wrote, alongside 13 images and videos detailing weeks of intense morning sickness and physical pain. In one confronting clip, Bianca is seen lying in bed with a heat pack, grimacing in pain as she describes how constant vomiting left her bedridden and unable to sleep. She revealed she vomited so violently she threw her back out for four days, and shared a snap of herself looking pale and drained after throwing up 67 times in one day. The Australian actress, 32, who is expecting her first child with the Fantastic Four star, 51, took to Instagram to share a raw photo diary and series of emotional videos documenting what she described as 'some kind of torture' during her first trimester In another photo, she is seen clutching a bowl of cornflakes - one of the only foods she could stomach for weeks. The post was both a personal confession and a public service announcement. She reassured others who may be experiencing similarly rough pregnancies, writing: 'You're not crazy! More often than not it isn't just nausea and "morning sickness". It IS sh*t and rough and f**ked and it IS ok to be honest about it!' Her pregnancy update comes just over a week after Bianca and Ioan announced they were expecting their first child together, posting a sweet black-and-white image of the actor kissing his wife's baby bump. 'Baby Gruffudd poppin' out to say hello!' they captioned the snap, which was met with an outpouring of love from fans and celebrity friends. But while the couple's news delighted many, it appeared to trigger a scathing response from Ioan's ex-wife Alice Evans, 55, who shared her own cryptic post following the announcement. Without naming the couple, Alice wrote: 'Some people like to go low. I can't. Not because I'm better. But because I have kids. This s**t is some kind of torture.' The post sparked speculation among fans that it was a veiled dig at her ex and his new wife, reigniting tensions from the pair's bitter public split. Ioan and Alice finalised their divorce in July 2023 but remain locked in a fiery legal battle over spousal and child support for their two daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11. Court documents have detailed years of alleged abuse, online harassment, and restraining orders. Bianca was previously granted a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Alice, with Ioan claiming his ex had embarked on a 'smear campaign' against them. Despite the drama, Ioan and Bianca have pressed on with their life together, sharing footage in April of their low-key wedding ceremony with the caption: 'Mr & Mrs Gruffudd. Marriage now, wedding later.' Ioan, who currently stars in Bad Boys: Ride or Die, which has grossed over $400 million globally, has denied Alice's claims that she and their children have been left destitute, saying he's paid over $400,000 more than required under their prenup. Meanwhile, Alice recently revealed she had been evicted from her Los Angeles home, later launching a GoFundMe campaign to help her find housing. 'Thanks to all of you, my girls and I and Emma [the family dog] have a roof over our heads,' she said in a recent update, thanking supporters for their donations. While Ioan and Bianca continue to navigate the highs and lows of pregnancy – and public scrutiny – the couple appear focused on their growing family, with Bianca finishing her post on a lighter note, sharing that her dog Bubba has become her 'protector' through it all. 'This week… Bubba's still taking his protector job very seriously,' she wrote, sharing an adorable image of the pup curled up next to her baby bump.

Shaughna did not reveal who the father of her baby is as she wrote: 'Adding a little more love to our family…' Following the birth of her daughter Lucia in April 2023, Shaughna's boyfriend of four years, Billy Webb, 29, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. However Shaughna revealed in November that the father of her little girl had been released after serving only 12 months of his sentence and the family reunited to enjoy a Christmas grotto together. The blonde bombshell has been very open with her fans throughout the ordeal and previously revealed on her podcast Oh, Baby with Shaughna and Holly that she had struggled to come to terms with the situation. She said: 'It's the most gut-wrenching position to be in. Taking to Instagram on Sunday , Shaughna revealed she was expecting as she posted a video of herself taking a pregnancy test and showed off her growing bump 'And, I mean, before I even answer this question, I want to just put it out there that you can judge me all you want, but please don't let me know, because I feel like unless you've been in this position you can't really have an opinion on it. 'Because before I was in this position, before I had a baby, if you had asked me would I ever, ever take my child into a prison, the answer would be absolutely not. Anyone that does that is crazy. 'And then, lo and behold, I'm now in this position. And I think the thing is, we're always going to be co-parents. 'And I know that me and my dad had the best relationship ever, and to me, my dad is the best person in the world. 'And I don't want Lucia to think differently of her father. I would never, ever stop him from seeing her, ever.' Sharing an adorable video to her Instagram announcing he had been released, the reality star revealed that she and her partner had taken Lucia to see Santa and added she never thought this day would come. She captioned the clip: 'If you had told me this time last year, that me and Billy would be taking Lucia to see Santa next Christmas, I probably wouldn't have let myself believe you 'The best couple of days, this Christmas is going to be so special'. The star also revealed to MailOnline that she had struggled raising her daughter as a single mother. She said: 'Having a newborn baby, hormones are all over the place and I was just struggling' 'Anyone who's had kids they'll probably say that when they're a newborn it's easiest because they just lie there and need to be fed but as they get older and they can talk back and say no... It's exhausting.'
