‘The Buccaneers' Season 2 Is Finally Here—Here's When to Watch

After a whirlwind first season filled with corsets, clashes, and crushes, The Buccaneers is back on Apple TV+ for round two. Inspired by Edith Wharton's final novel, the period drama picks up with Nan, Jinny, Conchita, Lizzy, and Mabel, no longer as fresh arrivals in England's aristocracy, but as powerful players in it.
Now immersed in London society, the American heiresses find themselves navigating new scandals, old flames, and the steep cost of growing up in a world still defined by title and tradition. Nan (Kristine Froseth) is now the Duchess of Tintagel, Conchita (Alisha Boe) has become a household name as Lady Brightlingsea, and Jinny (Imogen Waterhouse) has vanished into infamy after fleeing her marriage with a secret.
Season 2 brings back the original ensemble—Froseth, Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, and Waterhouse—alongside Christina Hendricks, Matthew Broome, Guy Remmers, and Barney Fishwick. Among the newcomers is Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester in a yet-undisclosed role, rumored to be central to one of the season's key mysteries.
In an interview with ELLE in March Boe spoke about Meester joining the cast, saying, 'She's lovely. We were all really excited to have her join and can't say much about who she is playing, but she is great.'
'The show offers a unique perspective about female friendships because they're going through the same things,' Boe added. 'It is a story about sisterhood, and there are five girls in the main ensemble. You get to see friendships, whether good or bad, turn sour and sweet.'

After the premiere on June 18, new episodes will roll out weekly on Wednesdays, exclusively on Apple TV+. Each installment usually becomes available to stream at 12 A.M. ET/9 P.M. PT the night before.

Despite the patriarch's checkered history, Williamson remembers his father as 'the best man ever, and so I was like, 'how did such a good man take a left turn?' I feel like we're in a world now where everyone has a side hustle….Everyone's trying to survive and they're doing what they can just to pay the bills. I really wanted to tap into that struggle.' In The Waterfront, things spiral out of control when the Buckleys turn to drug smuggling in attempt to save their once-thriving North Carolina fishing empire. The full trailer for Season 2 of Apple TV+'s period drama The Buccaneers has arrived, and it teases more sisterhood, romance, love affairs, bold declarations, bright gowns, breathtaking landscapes and a plot twist or two. The second season welcomes series newcomer Leighton Meester, whose character Nell can be seen at the end of the clip asking Christina Hendricks' Patricia St. George to introduce her to Kristine Frøseth's Nan St. George. ‘Mindhunter's Holt McCallany Teases 'A Chance' David Fincher Will Revive Series As Film Trilogy
More than five years after the Netflix series ended its two-season run, Mindhunter could get the feature-length trilogy treatment. Holt McCallany, who starred as FBI special agent Bill Tench in the true-crime series, said he recently spoke to creator David Fincher about the possibility of bringing the show back in another form. 'I know there are writers that are working, but you know, David has to be happy with scripts.' McCallany added: 'And I felt very fortunate and privileged to have gotten to do that show at all. I would love it if it were to return. I think, like I said, you know, he gave me a little bit of hope when I had that meeting with him, but the sun, the moon and the stars would all have to align.' With his new show The Waterfront premiering Thursday on Netflix, McCallany noted the movies also would be for the streaming platform. 'So I think that in terms of dates and logistics, it could all be worked out, but it has to do, you know, with David really having the time and the inclination and being happy, you know, with the material. And, you know, that's a big question mark,' added McCallany. Based on the 1995 true-crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker, the series ran for two seasons from 2017-19. McCallany and Jonathan Groff starred as the fictional Tench and Holden Ford, based on the FBI agents who pioneered the modern system of serial-killer profiling. The series re-created some of their interviews with killers such as Ed Kemper, Charles Manson and David Berkowitz.
