
Peterborough e-scooter rider in hospital with serious injuries
Police have appealed for witnesses after an e-scooter rider was found seriously injured on a road.The 40-year-old man was discovered at the junction of Eastfield Road and Newark Road in Peterborough on Thursday evening and taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.It is believed he was injured sometime between 20:00 and 20:10 BST.Sgt Ian Leeson from Cambridgeshire Police said: "At this stage it is unclear how the rider was injured and whether they were involved in a collision with another vehicle."
He added: "We are appealing for the public's help to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident."

Married couple jailed over Kings Norton stepmother attack
