For the first time the Swansea-born star will take fans behind the scenes of her most iconic roles and introduces them to a colourful cast including Ruth Jones, James Corden, Richard E. Grant, Johnny Depp, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson.

Gavin & Stacey star Jo Page has announced an exciting new career development and it will involve some insight into her most iconic sitcom role, Stacey Shipman.
The Swasnsea star will be releaseing a memoir later in 2025, entitled Lush!: My Story - From Swansea to Stacey and Everything in Between. The book will launch in September, and will be a 'funny, candid and endlessly surprising memoir' in which Joanna 'shares her story in full for the first time.'
The book is said to take readers behind the scenes of her most iconic roles as well as detail her early life growing up in Treboeth and the sudden shock of moving to London at 18 alone) to takeher place at RADA.
Fans could pre-order the book now, which you can find out more here. In a video clip shared on her Instagram, the Welsh actress, who played Stacey in the BBC sitcom that concluded last Christmas after 17 years, said that she had "so much" fun writing the book.
In the clip, she said: "I'm so excited to be able to tell you all about my book.
"I'm going to be talking about all of the highs and the lows of my life and career so far.

"Everything that's got me up to this point now. I have had so much fun writing it, and this is going to be the very first time that you actually see the cover.
"And I'm so, so happy to share it with you now."

The actress wrote: "From my early days growing up in Wales, to going to drama school in London and being on my own for the first time at eighteen, through those early auditions and right through my career and life to date.
"There have been so many incredible moments and stories and re-visiting them has been such a journey – one I can't wait to share with you."

Many have responded to the news, with fellow Gavin & Stacey star, Laura Aikman, who played Smithy's jilted bride Sonia replying with: "Congratulations!!"

It has been over six months since we said goodbye to Jo Page's beloved character Stacey and the rest of the cast in Gavin & Stacey: The Finale, which was aired on Christmas Day last year.
But the actress has kept herself busy since then, having been spotted filming in Barry Island with presenter chef Chris 'Flamebaster' Roberts in March and starring in the BBC One series Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea alongside presenter Wynne Evans.
The star has also co-hosting a podcast alongside Eastenders icon, Natalie Cassidy, called On The Telly, where they talk about TV and the entertainment business.

Newport play written and performed by homeless people
'The Visitor' was developed over 10 weeks as part of The Story Project, a two-year storytelling project funded by Arts Council Wales. This has developed as a collaborative effort between Welsh homelessness charity The Wallich, Owen Thomas, the Riverfront Theatre, Sherman Theatre, Grand Ambition in Swansea, Carmarthenshire Theatres, Theatr Clwyd, Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Awen Cultural Trust, and National Theatre Wales. The performance aimed to challenge stereotypes by showcasing talent and creativity, offering new perspectives on homelessness. The heart of the story lies in the journey of the Visitor, portrayed by Osian Lloyd, an emerging actor who is also a participant in the Story Project. The Visitor's adventure in Newport begins after his bus breaks down. Initially, he holds certain prejudices against the city, known for violence and antisocial behaviour. But The Professor, a character in the play, guides him on a time-travelling adventure, revealing vital moments of Newport's history. These included the 1830s uprising led by John Frost and the Chartists, the symbolism of the transporter bridge in the 1900s, the lively music scene of the 1980s, and finally, a glimpse into modern-day Newport. The narrative then becomes a moving testament to shared experiences and creativity. The play was presented as a script-in-hand performance by a group supported by The Wallich through the Gwent BOOST Project, with the assistance of other project participants. Despite a tight six-week schedule, the cast, under the guidance of Newport practitioner Naomi Norman and Owen Thomas, managed to integrate their personal experiences and connections to Newport into an engaging story. The performance concluded on a hopeful note, with the Visitor deciding to extend his stay in Newport, changing his previously negative impression of the town. The Story Project has been transformative, paving the way for new partnerships, friendships, talents, and even careers. People homeless from Cardiff, Swansea, Aberystwyth, Wrexham, Ammanford, and Llanelli have all participated in the initiative. The project aims to introduce or reintroduce the enchantment of theatre and the arts, encouraging people homeless to share their stories and develop new creative and technical skills.

Pupils in Wales show progress in reading and maths skills
New statistics from the 2023/24 academic year show improvements in English reading, Welsh reading, and numeracy across Wales. English reading attainment rose in all year groups compared to 2022/23, with Year 3 pupils performing better than in both 2020/21 and 2021/22. Welsh reading also saw gains across Years 3 to 9, while numeracy (procedural) showed the most improvement among younger pupils. Numeracy (reasoning) remained stable. Lynne Neagle, cabinet secretary for education, said: "It is encouraging to see progress in attainment in reading and numeracy. "This improvement highlights the impact our investments are making in schools to ensure every learner has the opportunity to reach their full potential." The data comes from anonymised results of the national personalised assessments, which are adaptive online tools used to measure pupil progress in reading and numeracy. Personalised assessments aim to support learning by identifying strengths and areas for development. Trystan Phillips, headteacher at Ysgol Gymunedol Penparc in Ceredigion, said the school has changed how it uses the assessments. Mr Phillips said: "We have evolved in our use of the personalised assessments to move away from their use as a summative resource to being a resource that truly influences progress. "They're very much now a device to support pupil progress." Owen Evans, Estyn's chief inspector, said the tools help teachers tailor support and track learning. Mr Evans said: "Personalised assessments are a useful tool for schools. "They enable teachers to tailor support for individual pupils and track progress over time. "We are pleased to see some improvement, but schools need to work together to support attainment, and ensure there is a relentless focus on improving reading and mathematics for all learners."
