So, when will Borderlands 4 actually fall into the fans' hands, and how much will it cost?
Borderlands 4 will be released for various consoles on September 12. The game will be available in three different editions, each with its own perks and, of course, price: the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition, and the Super Deluxe Edition.
The standard edition will give gamers access to the full base game, along with the Gilded Glory Pack, a Vault Hunter skin, a weapon skin, and an ECHO-4 drone skin.
The deluxe edition will have everything you get in the standard edition, along with more perks like a Firehawk's Fury weapon design reward pack collection, four unique areas with new missions and unique bosses, four Vault cards with unique challenges and rewards, new weapons and gear, new Vault Hunter cosmetics and four new vehicles with new cosmetics.
The Super Deluxe Edition will again have everything available in the previous editions, along with an ornate pre-order pack, four Vault Hunter skins, heads and bodies, a Vault Hunter pack, two new playable Vault Hunters, two new story packs with new stories and side quests and two new map regions. This edition will also come with new gear and weapons, new Vault Hunter cosmetics and new ECHO-4 cosmetics.
The standard edition will cost $69.99, while the deluxe edition can be bought for $99.99. The super deluxe edition will set gamers back by $129.99.
The game can now be pre-ordered for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. It is expected to become available later on for Nintendo Switch 2.

Epic Games to remove this controversial game even if it's downloaded in your library

Representative Image Epic Games is set to remove the game Dark and Darker from the libraries of all owners starting November 1. This action follows the game's earlier removal from sale on the Epic Games Store due to ongoing legal disputes. Dark and Darker, developed by Ironmace , was initially pulled from the Epic Games storefront earlier this year. The removal stems from legal claims by Nexon , alleging theft of assets by Ironmace. While the game has remained available on Steam, Epic Games is proceeding with its complete removal from user libraries. The game distribution platform has started emailing users who have Dark and Darker in their library, informing them that the game will be removed and that partial refunds will be issued. What Epic Games said to players about removing Dark and Darker from their libraries In the email sent to users (uploaded on Reddit), Epic Games writes: 'We removed Dark and Darker from sale on the Epic Games Store on March 5 in consideration of a court decision in Korea between Nexon and the game's publisher, Ironmace. On November 1, 2025, we will be removing Dark and Darker from your library, at which point it will no longer be playable via the Epic Games Store. Effective immediately, players can no longer purchase Redstone Shards or the Legendary Status upgrades via the Epic Games Store. Players can continue to use the Redstone Shards that they have previously purchased until November 1, 2025. We will issue a refund to all players who have purchased the Legendary Status upgrade. Refunds will be issued to the player's original payment method, and where that's not possible, players will receive a refund to their Epic account balance. We are unable to provide refunds on Redstone Shards. If you have not received a refund by July 1, please contact player support.' The outcome of the situation will likely depend on the result of the ongoing legal dispute. While Steam has not yet taken similar action, that could change. Dark and Darker is a multiplayer action RPG and dungeon crawler set in a dark fantasy world, released in early access in 2023 for both PC and mobile. The game received a mixed response upon launch. Midjourney launches V1 AI video generation model right after Disney accuses it of plagiarism

Midjourney, the AI startup famous for its surreal image generation tools, is making a bold leap into video. Recently, the company unveiled V1, its long-awaited video-generation model that promises to breathe life into your static images. It's a big move for Midjourney as it throws the company into direct competition with other big-hitters like OpenAI, Runway, Adobe and Google.V1 is designed as an image-to-video model, allowing users to transform either their own uploaded pictures or Midjourney's AI-generated images into short five-second video clips. Like its sibling image models, V1 is only accessible via Discord for now and is web-only at launch. advertisementAnd it's not just videos Midjourney has in its sights. In a blog post, CEO David Holz set out some pretty ambitious goals for the company's AI, saying V1 is just the next stepping stone toward real-time 'open-world simulations.' The company also revealed its plans to branch into 3D renderings and real-time generative models down the line. While Midjourney's image tools have long appealed to artists and designers, the company has taken a slightly different tack with video. Many of its rivals — such as Sora by OpenAI, Runway's Gen-4, Firefly by Adobe and Veo 3 by Google — are going after commercial filmmakers and studios with highly controllable AI tools. Midjourney, however, is positioning itself as more of a creative playground for those looking for something a little more V1 AI video generation model: Pricing and availabilityadvertisementDespite this, Midjourney is pushing ahead. Video generation doesn't come cheap, though. V1 consumes eight times more credits per clip than Midjourney's still-image tools, so subscribers will burn through their monthly allowances far faster. At launch, Basic subscribers — who pay $10 (around Rs 866) per month — can access V1, but unlimited video generation is limited to the $60 (around Rs 5,200) Pro and $120 (approximately Rs 10,400) Mega plans, and only on the 'Relax' mode, which produces videos more slowly. However, the company says it will review this pricing structure in the coming weeks as it gathers feedback from for the tools themselves, V1 offers a surprising level of control. You can opt for an 'auto' mode that lets the AI generate motion for you or a 'manual' mode that accepts text prompts to dictate exactly how you want your animation to move. Plus, there are settings for adjusting movement intensity — 'low motion' if you want subtle shifts, or 'high motion' for more energetic effects. Clips last five seconds by default but can be extended up to 21 seconds in four-second accuses Midjourney of plagiarismThat said, Midjourney is entering the video arena under a legal cloud. Only a week ago, Disney and Universal sued the startup over its image-generation models, claiming they can produce unauthorised versions of famous characters like Darth Vader and Homer Simpson. It's part of a growing backlash across Hollywood as studios grow nervous about AI tools replacing human creatives — and AI companies face questions about training data and copyright examples of V1's output suggest Midjourney is sticking to its trademark surreal aesthetic rather than aiming for hyper-realism, the sort of style that fans of the platform have come to love. The initial reaction from users has been mostly positive so far, though it's still too early to tell how V1 will stack up against more established players like Runway and Sora.
