Hisense unveils HT SATURN Home Theatre Sound System to redefine immersive audio
QINGDAO, China, April 29, 2025 /CNW/ -- Hisense, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, today unveiled the HT SATURN, a 4.1.2‑channel surround sound system featuring the exclusive "Tuned by Devialet" certification. Combining Hisense's advanced Hi‑Concerto™ architecture with Devialet's world‑class acoustic engineering, the HT SATURN delivers cinema‑quality audio and immersive three‑dimensional sound in any living space.
HT SATURN pumps out 720 W of total max power through a meticulously arranged 13‑speaker array. Four satellite units each house up‑firing speakers, tweeters, and full‑range speakers, while a standalone 6.5‑inch wireless subwoofer ensures distortion‑free bass that reverberates with authority. Together, these precision‑tuned drivers recreate every whisper of dialogue, sweeping musical score, and thunderous explosion with breathtaking clarity and impact.
Central to the HT SATURN's performance is Hisense's proprietary Hi‑Concerto™ Technology, which seamlessly synchronizes the system with compatible Hisense TV speakers. Support for Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® further elevates the experience, placing audio overhead and behind the audience for true spatial immersion. By blending outputs across all connected drivers, the system can create a rich 7.1.2‑channel 3D soundstage that wraps around listeners.
HT SATURN has been co‑engineered with Devialet for unparalleled audio brilliance. Devialet's proprietary tuning technologies deliver precise sound reproduction with optimal tonal balance, dynamic range, and depth. The result is sound that precisely reflects the creator's intent—whether you're lost in a blockbuster film, locked into high‑stakes gameplay, or savouring your favourite album.
Ease of integration and elegant design define the HT SATURN experience. Stable, low‑latency streaming is guaranteed by tri‑band wireless transmission (2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, 5.8 GHz), ensuring robust and interference-free wireless connectivity throughout your space. Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI IN,HDMI eARC, and Optical inputs offer seamless connectivity with TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices. Hisense's EzPlay feature enables control of HT SATURN via the Hisense TV remote, with settings conveniently displayed on the TV screen—making it easy to adjust sound effects, EQ modes, and more in real time. The minimalist satellite modules and subwoofer may be wall‑mounted or freestanding to suit any living space.
Five preset sound modes—Standard, Movie, Music, Game, and Sport—are augmented by advanced effects such as Surround, Night, Voice, AI, and Virtual:X, allowing you to fine‑tune the auditory atmosphere to every type of content. Powered by Hisense TV's room acoustic calibration algorithm, the intelligent room‑correction technology continuously analyses ambient acoustics, ensuring the HT SATURN delivers consistent performance in rooms of all layouts and sizes.
The Hisense HT SATURN will soon be available worldwide, with regional launch timings set by local channels. Sales kick off in June across Amazon, BestBuy US, Currys UK, M.Video Russia, and leading professional AV retailers. (*Specifications and feature availability may vary by market.)

Media Advisory - Simultaneous launch of Canadian space technologies Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, June 21, 2025 /CNW/ - Several technologies funded by the Canadian Space Agency under the Space Technology Development Program will be launched into space by SpaceX. These projects are a testament to Canada's leadership in space innovation. EarthDaily Analytics will use high-precision thermal imagers to monitor plant transpiration. The data collected could help farmers make decisions about irrigation, fertilization and crop rotation. It could also provide precise information about areas at greatest risk of wildfires, in order to protect our communities. INO provided infrared cameras as part of this project. Galaxia will launch its first satellite, MÖBIUS-1, a software-defined satellite designed to carry various types of Earth observation sensors. The MÖBIUS constellation could be used for a variety of applications, such as defence, environmental monitoring, agriculture, infrastructure, maritime operations and transportation. GHGSat will add two satellites to its commercial constellation, bringing the company's total to 13 methane detection satellites and one CO 2 detection satellite. Mission Control will test its onboard artificial intelligence (AI) software and machine learning operations system SpacefarerAI™ in partnership with Spire Global. Their Persistence mission aims to show how AI can analyze satellite images directly in space, thereby eliminating the need to send all data to Earth for processing. Xona Space Systems will test Pulsar, a demonstration satellite designed to validate a new generation of satellite navigation from low Earth orbit. This technology could improve precision and reliability of positioning services, including in urban areas, remote areas and the Arctic. Also contributing to the GHGSat and EarthDaily Analytics satellites are ABB 's business unit in Quebec, supplying sophisticated optical sensors, and Xiphos Systems, providing high-performance onboard processors. These innovations demonstrate the ability of Canadian companies to develop innovative technologies that meet the needs of the space program and have strong commercial potential. Media who wish to speak with a Canadian Space Agency expert or a representative from one of these Canadian companies are asked to contact the Media Relations Office.

Reklaim Expands 'Protect' to Include California Opt-Outs, Ad Tech Removal, and Family Protection
Subscribers' data is now automatically removed from California-registered data brokers, as well as enterprise and DSP platforms TORONTO, June 20, 2025 /CNW/ - Reklaim Ltd. (TSXV: MYID) (OTC: MYIDF) ("Reklaim" or the "Company"), a leader in consumer data privacy and compliant data monetization, today announced a significant update to Reklaim Protect, its privacy subscription service that helps users shrink their digital footprint. With this latest release, Reklaim Protect now automatically removes subscriber data from companies listed in California's official data broker registry, as well as enterprise data platforms and demand-side platforms (DSP s) used in digital advertising. These new capabilities further strengthen Reklaim's position as a privacy-first alternative for consumers who want to opt out of the data economy and reduce the availability of their information for sale, targeting, or unauthorized use. "Removing your data from these platforms is about cutting off the source," said Neil Sweeney, Founder and CEO of Reklaim. "Brokers, fraudsters, and bad actors all rely on the same data supply to power their models. If you don't proactively reduce your footprint, your information remains exposed and in circulation. By integrating the California registry, we're cutting subscribers off from one of the largest data pipelines in the world." Key Features of Reklaim Protect (V2) California Data Broker Registry Opt-Out Reklaim subscribers' data is now automatically removed from data brokers listed in California's official registry, the largest of its kind in the world, with a single digital signature inside the Reklaim app. This step leverages state privacy laws to disconnect consumers from some of the most active and persistent data sellers in the U.S. View the official registry ➝ Enterprise & DSP Data Removal Reklaim now facilitates opt-outs from enterprise data platforms and demand-side platforms (DSPs) used by advertisers to profile and target consumers, helping reduce unwanted surveillance and behavioural tracking. Family-Wide Monitoring Protect Subscribers, who are also members of Reklaim Rewards, can also monitor up to 10 verified email addresses for dark web breaches, extending protection to family members and close contacts. These enhancements build on the original features of Reklaim Protect, which include: Reklaim Protect is available to Reklaim subscribers in Canada and the United States, offering a 14-day free trial and ongoing access for just $1/month or $10/year.
