Lufthansa delays 'Israel' flight restart again, now pushed to May 25

Roya News15-05-2025

Germany's Lufthansa Group has announced it will continue suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv until at least May 25, citing ongoing regional security concerns.
A spokesperson for the airline confirmed the decision Sunday, extending the suspension that was previously in place through May 6.
The move follows heightened tensions in the region. On May 6, 'Israel's' Channel 12 reported that all incoming and outgoing flights at Ben Gurion International Airport were halted after a missile was launched from Yemen.
The Lufthansa Group—which includes Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings—has not operated flights to or from 'Israel' since suspending service earlier this year. The airline said it continues to monitor the situation and will resume operations once conditions are deemed safe.

Around 50 Injured in Iranian Strike on Soroka Hospital - Jordan News

A reported Iranian missile strike on Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva left at least 50 people injured on Thursday, according to medical sources. A spokesperson for Magen David Adom stated that emergency teams "are providing medical treatment and have evacuated two individuals in critical condition to the hospital, in addition to 30 others with minor injuries." He added that additional emergency crews are attending to several other casualties at different locations. اضافة اعلان An Israeli military source reported that "dozens of ballistic missiles" were launched during the Iranian attack. Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that a hospital in the south of the country had been directly hit by a new wave of missile fire from Iran. The ministry posted on X: 'Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva in southern Israel was directly hit. Further details to follow.' A hospital spokesperson confirmed that the building sustained extensive damage in several areas. 'We are currently assessing the damage, including injuries. We urge citizens not to come to the hospital at this time,' he said. Iran launched the barrage of rockets on Thursday morning, marking the seventh day of escalating military conflict between the two sides. Israeli media reported that at least four missiles landed inside Israel following the Iranian strike. Soroka Hospital officials also suspect a hazardous material leak on one of the floors, prompting evacuation of the area. Separately, Tel Aviv police reported that a missile hit a tower, causing damage to nearby buildings in central Tel Aviv. Media outlets said rockets struck four locations: three in the Gush Dan area and one in the south. Reports also indicated a full building collapse at Soroka Hospital and another in Be'er Sheva. According to Israel's Channel 12, one missile struck a building in central Tel Aviv, causing widespread destruction. Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed that the attack on Israel was a dual assault using both missiles and drones. The ongoing exchange of missile fire and threats between Israel and Iran has raised fears of further military escalation. In response, Israel launched a wide-scale attack on Iran early Friday, targeting military and nuclear sites. The Israeli assault reportedly killed senior military leaders and nuclear scientists, claiming it was based on intelligence that Iran's nuclear program was approaching a 'point of no return.' Iran, which denies seeking to develop nuclear weapons, responded with dozens of missiles targeting military facilities inside Israel. Israeli media reported that patients were being evacuated from Soroka Hospital following the damage sustained in the Iranian missile strike.

Top Houthi military commander survives 'Israeli' assassination attempt: Hebrew media

Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, the Iran-aligned Houthi's Chief of General Staff, survived an 'Israeli' assassination attempt but sustained serious injuries, the 'Israeli' Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan News) reported. The 'Israeli' air force reportedly launched a targeted strike Saturday night on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, aiming to kill al-Ghamari, a top-ranking military official in the Houthi leadership. While Hebrew Channel 12 confirmed the airstrike was intended to eliminate al-Ghamari, it stopped short of providing full details on the operation's outcome. However, Kan said later the Houthi official was injured but survived. Meanwhile, Axios cited an 'Israeli' official who described the operation as part of broader efforts to counter Iranian influence in the region, noting that al-Ghamari was considered the Houthis' highest-ranking military commander. Who is Mohammed al-Ghamari? Al-Ghamari serves as the Chief of General Staff for Houthi forces and is regarded as one of the group's most senior and influential military leaders. He joined the movement in 2013 and has led operations on key fronts, including Saada and Hodeidah.

Iran's underground Natanz site hit during 'Israel' strikes: UN nuclear watchdog

There appear to have been "direct impacts" on the underground part of Iran's Natanz nuclear site during 'Israel's' attacks, the UN's atomic watchdog said on Tuesday. "Based on continued analysis of high resolution satellite imagery collected after Friday's attacks, the IAEA has identified additional elements that indicate direct impacts on the underground enrichment halls at Natanz," the International Atomic Energy Agency said on X, formerly Twitter.
