The Founder Story Behind Unlisted: From Neighborhood Curiosity to National Platform
DAYTON, OH, June 19, 2025 (EZ Newswire) -- Unlisted, opens new tab, the real estate platform focused exclusively on homes not currently for sale, was born from a familiar moment. Founder and CEO, Katie Hill, walked past a home and thought, 'I love that house; I wonder if it could be mine someday?' Unlike most, she acted on that curiosity — and Unlisted was the result.
Unlisted's origin story began with a friendly conversation. Hill approached her neighbor who owned the house she admired and expressed her interest. The owner wasn't selling right then but was flattered, intrigued, and open to future conversations as he was planning for his retirement in the coming few years. Hill asked for a right of first refusal whenever the neighbor was ready to sell and he agreed.
That moment of neighborhood curiosity inspired many questions in Hill's mind:
These questions became the blueprint for Unlisted, a growing platform built to unlock the hidden layer of the real estate market: homes that aren't actively for sale but might be — for the right offer, the right timeline, or the right terms.
Founded by Hill in 2022, Unlisted helps buyers express interest in any home, whether or not it's on the market, and gives homeowners a private, pressure-free way to collect interest and better understand the marketability of their property. Homeowners can 'claim' their home, control the way their property appears online, personalize its details and photos, and initiate conversations with buyers who join their Waitlist — all on their own timeline, and without committing to sell.
'We're not trying to push people to sell,' says Hill. 'We're giving them the option to see what's possible and make better-informed decisions.'
Unlisted works selectively with vetted real estate agents with proven track records, ensuring that when buyers and homeowners align on a transaction opportunity they have access to the local real estate resources they need.
'Unlisted's technology is far-reaching and creates more opportunities but it still maintains the local, human connection that is so important in real estate.' explains Jason Rowland, licensed real estate broker with the Rowland Group at Compass in Chicago and a selected partner with Unlisted. 'I have deep knowledge of my local market and serve as a trusted resource for both buyers and homeowners on Unlisted who are exploring their options in the neighborhood. It's the best of all worlds.'
Real estate requires that people make some of the most important decisions of their lives. Unlisted offers a new way to discover opportunities and information — helping both sides of the transaction achieve optimum outcomes.

Honda Launches Killer Civic Lease Offer For June
An enticing Honda Civic lease offer Compact cars aren't exactly a dime a dozen these days, but the Honda Civic remains a popular pick among first-time and veteran buyers alike. Available in multiple bodystyles, as well as in two performance variants, there's truly a Civic for every driver. This June, Honda is running an enticing lease offer on both the sedan and hatchback models. Both lease deals are a bargain, $289 per month, with either $3,899 or $3,999 due at signing, depending on the bodystyle. Honda Civic remains a true value The Honda Civic receives several updates for the 2025 model year, namely in the headlights and front bumper. With the introduction of the hybrid model, the sedan is now only available in two trim levels, while the hatchback is only offered in a single model. Perhaps most notably, the Civic's turbocharged engine is no longer available, and the hatchback loses its manual transmission. The Honda Civic Sedan and Hatchback June lease offers are specific to the Sport trim, both of which come powered with a 150-horsepower engine mated to a CVT. A model known for its efficiency, the Civic Sedan Sport is rated for an EPA-estimated 31 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. The Civic Hatchback Sport earns one mile per gallon less in both categories. Both the 2025 Honda Civic Sedan and Hatchback Sport come comparably equipped, rolling out on athletic 18-inch gloss black wheels complemented by LED headlights and gloss-black side mirrors. Notably, the sedan comes with a chrome exhaust finisher and black upper window trim. Inside, the Civic Hatchback features sport pedals and red ambient lighting, while the sedan includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Honda Civic lease offers for June 2025 This June, Honda is running an aggressive Civic Sedan lease deal: $289 per month, with $3,899 due at signing. If you need more interior space, Honda is running a sweet deal on the Civic Hatchback as well, with a $289 monthly payment and a $3,999 down payment. These lease offers appear to be a nationwide deal. Both lease offers span a 36-month term with an annual 10,000-mile allowance. Act quickly, though, as this lease deal is only valid through July 7th! Source: Joseph Pudlewski If you want to minimize your upfront payments, you may be able to spread the down payment across the 36-month term. If you take that route, the Honda Civic Sedan would cost you roughly $397.31 per month. The Civic Hatchback would be slightly more expensive, at $400.09 per month. $0 down options may vary according to region, and not all consumers will qualify. Always get an estimate directly from Honda. Final thoughts The Honda Civic returns for another year, maintaining its reputation for reliability, efficiency, and value. With plenty of tech and slick styling across the lineup, it's no wonder the Civic is a top contender among compact cars. If you're in need of a new daily driver, this June lease deal is a great time to get behind the wheel of the 2025 Honda Civic. These lease offers are valid through July 7th, so don't procrastinate! NBA team owner Mark Cuban reveals he rejected stunning offer from Kamala Harris ahead of election loss to Trump
NBA team minority owner Mark Cuban has revealed that Kamala Harris ' ticket for last November's election could have looked very different. The former Shark Tank personality, who owns a 27 percent stake in the Dallas Mavericks, has shared that the former Vice President had reached out to him amid last year's Race to the White House. The 66-year-old claimed that Harris' team had asked him to submit vetting materials to be considered for her running mate in the 2024 campaign. But Cuban, despite being outspoken in his opposition of Donald Trump, surprisingly turned the Democratic hopeful down. The Bulwark's Tim Miller quizzed Cuban on the rumor Thursday, asking: 'Somebody I kind of trust said that they asked you to send in VP vetting papers and you said, "No, the list would be too long." Is that true?' Cuban, who campaigned for Harris, admitted that it was before going on to explain why he passed over the offer. Talked to @mcuban for tomorrow's pod and he tells me he declined an offer to be vetted for Kamala VP. What might have been! We also discuss the fallout of his decision to sell the Mavs but gotta wait til tomorrow for that. — Tim Miller (@Timodc) June 20, 2025 'The second part of that, my response was I'm not very good as the number two person. And so if the last thing we need is me telling Kamala, you know, the president that, no, that's a dumb idea. Right. And I'm not real good at the shaking hands and kissing babies,' Cuban added. Harris ultimately selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate but was defeated at the ballot box by Trump and Vice President JD Vance. 'I mean, obviously it would have been different,' Cuban added. 'My personality is completely different than Tim's. My experiences, my backgrounds are completely different. 'I think I've cut through the s*** more directly. I'm not a politician. And so it would have been different, but it would have been awful,' Cuban joked, 'She would have fired me within six days.' 'It would have been better than the present situation, you know?' Miller retorted. 'Well, yes, that's true. But, you know, I really thought she was going to win,' Cuban replied. Cuban hit out at Trump in the build up to last year's election, taking aim at the president's golf game in an email to 'I can out drive him by 100 yards,' the 66-year-old Cuban wrote of the 78-year-old Trump in an email to It came after Trump had bizarrely claimed that Cuban has 'really low clubhead speed' and is 'a total non-athlete.' Typically Cuban has attacked Trump's business acumen, understanding of tariffs, and his failure to hold his 2016 campaign promise of building a border wall and making Mexico pay for it. 'This man has so little understanding of tariffs, he thinks that China pays for that. This is the same guy who also thought that Mexico would pay for the wall,' Cuban told an audience in the battleground state of Wisconsin. 'Did Mexico pay for that wall?,' Cuban asked the crowd, who responded, 'no.' In addition to his bitter tiff with the president over their golf games last October, Cuban has been highly critical of Trump. The entrepreneur campaigned for Harris in the buildup to her ultimate defeat at the ballot box last November and took aim at Trump's inner circle. 'Donald Trump – you never see him around strong, intelligent women, ever. It's just that simple,' Cuban said on The View last November. 'It's just that simple. They're intimidating to him. He doesn't like to be challenged by them,' Cuban added. Trump's national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the comments were 'extremely insulting to the thousands of women who work for President Trump, and the tens of millions of women who are proudly voting for him.' Cuban later apologized, saying he 'didn't get it out exactly the way I thought I did.' In August of last year, the wealthy 'shark' made it clear that his support had shifted from Trump to Harris after 'he got to know him,' according to Business Insider. 'I actually started off supporting Donald, and then I got to know him better,' Cuban told Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, during an interview last year. 'I was like, he's great - he's not a typical Stepford candidate. I thought that was a positive,' he added. 'But then I got to know him.' However, he was one of the first members of Camp Kamala to publicly concede defeat on election night, sending a message of congratulations to Trump The businessman sold a majority ownership of the Mavericks for $3.5 billion to the Adelson family in December 2023. Cuban still holds a 27 percent stake in the team.
