JON JONES was charged with fleeing with scene of an accident just days before announcing his retirement.
Court records show the Hall of Famer was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, which caused no great bodily harm or death, on June 17.

But records show that the alleged incident took place in New Mexico back on February 24.
The police report states that a woman was found in the front passenger seat of one of the cars involved in the incident.
The woman, according to the report, was 'exhibiting signs of significant intoxication and lacking clothing from the waist down.'
She is said to have told the police that Jones was the driver and ran away from the scene on foot before calling the MMA icon.
A police aide stated the person on the phone, who they believed to be Jones, 'appeared to be heavily intoxicated and made statements implying his capacity to employ lethal force through third parties.'
Jones is also said to have not directly identified himself to police during the conversation, in which he allegedly made 'allusions to violence'.
In an interview with police, Jones claims the woman found in the car was intoxicated when she left his house earlier in the day.
He claims she rang him after getting into the crash and passed the phone over to an officer who 'immediately opened the conversations with unprofessional language, which led him to doubt the legitimacy of the individual's claim.'

In the police report, the woman found in the car claims she drank alcohol and took mushrooms at Jones' house, with her "next recollection was being at the scene of a traffic accident.'
But she remained adamant the person driving the car was Jones, who, in the police report, is said to have called the woman 13 times and sent her scores of text messages from the time of he crash until the following morning.

Jones, 37, is no stranger to falling afoul of the law when it comes to driving.
In 2015, he was charged with a felony hit and run after crashing into two cars - one of which was being driven by a pregnant woman - and leaving the scene on foot.
Jones, who faced a litany of DUI's during his career, pled guilty to leaving the scene of a crime and served 18 months probation for the incident, which led to him being stripped of the light-heavyweight title.
The bombshell news came on the same day Jones announced he wouldn't be fighting Brit Tom Aspinall in an eagerly-anticipated heayweight title unification fight and would be retiring from MMA.
He wrote on X: "Today, I'm officially announcing my retirement from the UFC.
"This decision comes after a lot of reflection, and I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the journey I've experienced over the years.
"From the first time I stepped into the Octagon, my goal was to push the boundaries of what was possible in this sport.
"Becoming the youngest UFC champion in history, defending my title against some of the best fighters in the world, and sharing unforgettable moments with fans across the globe—these are memories I'll cherish forever.
"I've faced incredible highs and some tough lows, but every challenge has taught me something valuable and made me stronger, both as a fighter and as a person.
"I want to thank the UFC, Dana, Hunter, Lorenzo, God, my family, coaches, teammates, and all the fans who have stood by me through every chapter.
"Your unwavering support and belief in me have been my foundation.
"To my fellow fighters, thank you for bringing out the best in me and for the respect we've shared inside and outside the cage.

Hegseth claims US ‘obliterated' Iranian nuclear sites despite lack of assessment
The US defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, on Sunday repeated claims by Donald Trump that US strikes had completely destroyed Iran's nuclear facilities and its ability to acquire nuclear weapons even as the Pentagon acknowledged it was too early to provide a full damage assessment. At a news conference, Hegseth and the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, Gen Dan Caine, said the strikes, codenamed Operation Midnight Hammer, devastated the Iranian nuclear program. The remarks from Hegseth in particular amounted to repeated praise for Trump and the operation that targeted the nuclear enrichment sites at Natanz and Fordow, the key facility buried deep underground, and a third site at Esfahan where Iran was seen to store enriched uranium. 'It was an incredible and overwhelming success. The order we received from our commander in chief was focused,' Hegseth said wearing a blue suit and US flag motif pocket square in the Pentagon briefing room, the first time he has appeared there since becoming the secretary. 'Thanks to President Trump's bold and visionary leadership and his commitment to peace through strength, Iran's nuclear ambitions have been obliterated,' Hegseth said. 'The operation President Trump planned was bold and it was brilliant.' According to Caine, who was seen in pictures released by the White House to have been in the Situation Room as the operation unfolded, the bombing raid involved a two-part strike package of B-2 bombers and fourth- and fifth-generation fighter jets launching from the US. The operation started around midnight on Friday, when the main contingent of bombers departed from the Whiteman air force base in Missouri and flew towards Iran, while another contingent flew in the opposite direction over the Pacific Ocean as a decoy effort. The main contingent involved seven B-2 bombers flying for 18 nonstop hours into Iranian airspace, refueling multiple times in the air, while unidentified fighter jets swept ahead of the group for possible Iranian fighter jets and surface-to-air missile threats over the nuclear sites. Caine said the Pentagon was not aware of any shots fired at the bombers as they flew into Iran and dropped the first of 14 so-called 'bunker buster' bombs, technically known as GBU-57s on the Fordow enrichment facility under the cover of darkness around 2.10am local time. After the bombers dropped the GBU-57s on Fordow and Natanz, Caine said, a navy submarine fired a series of Tomahawk missiles at the Esfahan site, as the aircraft turned around to fly back to the US. 'We are unaware of any shots fired at the Package on the way out. Iran's fighters did not fly, and it appears that Iran's surface-to-air missile systems did not see us throughout the mission. We retained the element of surprise,' Caine added. The actual extent of the damage in particular to Fordow, the site Trump has been most focused on destroying because of its hard-to-reach nature, was not immediately clear. Neither Hegseth nor Caine provided details beyond their initial assessment that it had been 'obliterated'. Following Trump's remarks in a televised address from the White House on Saturday night that the US could launch more attacks on Iran unless they started peace talks, Hegseth said the administration was in contact with the country's leadership through public and private channels. In the wee hours of the morning on June 21, a man going by the name David Shayani took to his X account to reply to another user who saw flight tracking information for a group of eight American tanker aircraft departing Whitman Air Force Base in Missouri. He wrote that he'd seen a total of nine B-2 Spirit bombers passing over his Warsaw, Missouri home, 'headed due East.' Shayani, who describes himself on the social media site as 'an average guy' and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, had inadvertently spotted what we now know was part of a grand deception by the Trump administration ahead of what the Pentagon revealed to be called 'Operation Midnight Hammer,' a blitz attack on a trio of Iranian nuclear facilities that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called 'an incredible and overwhelming success' during a press conference Sunday morning. The former Fox News weekend host turned American defense chief, who was appearing in the Pentagon briefing room for the first time alongside Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine, said the operation had required 'misdirection and the highest of operational security' to permit seven of the stealth bombers spotted by Shayani, as well as an untold number of what Caine said had been 'fourth and fifth-generation' fighters, to penetrate deep into Iranian airspace and drop a total of 14 Massive Ordinance Penetrator bombs — bunker busting weapons designed to take out hardened facilities — in the first operational use of that weapon. Caine, the four-star Air Force general who Trump called out of retirement and promoted to serve as the Joint Chiefs of Staff chair upon his return to the White House in January, noted that a number of the B-2 bombers seen in Missouri had taken off from Whitman 'at midnight Friday into Saturday morning.' Of those stealth bombers, Caine said 'part of that package' — including two of the nine spotted by Shayani — were sent westward towards the Pacific region as a 'decoy' and part of a 'deception effort known only to an extremely small number of planners and key leaders' in Washington and at U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa, Florida. According to the general, the remaining seven stealth bombers, what he called 'the main strike package' manned by two crew members apiece, spent the next 18 hours proceeding 'quietly to the east with minimal communications throughout' while refueling in-flight en route to the 'target area' in Iran. Once there, Caine said the bombers 'linked up' with a fleet of escort fighters and support planes in what he described as a 'complex, tightly timed maneuver requiring exact synchronization across multiple platforms in a narrow piece of airspace, all done with minimal communications.' By 5:00 pm ET on Saturday, those planes were on the cusp of entering Iranian airspace. That's when a U.S. submarine — which Caine suggested was one of the U.S. Navy's four Ohio class guided missile submarines — launched 'more than two dozen' Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles aimed at 'key surface infrastructure targets at Isfahan,' one of the three nuclear program locations targeted in the attack. Then, the U.S. planes — including decoy aircraft in the form of 'fourth and fifth generation' fighter jets — flew 'at high altitude and high speed' in front of the B-2 bombers to draw out any Iranian Air Force fighters or ground-based air defense missiles. The Air Force general said the 'strike package' continued with support from a number of U.S. combat commands and services, including U.S. Strategic Command, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Space Command, the U.S. Space Force, and U.S. European Command as the 'protection package' fighters used what he called 'high speed suppression weapons' in 'preemptive suppressing fires against any potential Iranian Surface to Air threats' to ensure that the bombers could proceed unmolested. It appears that goal was achieved, as Caine told reporters that the U.S. was 'currently unaware' of any shots fired at the bombers on their way to their target sites. The first bombs, a pair of the 30,000 pound MOP bunker-busters, were dropped by the lead B-2 bomber at approximately 6:40 pm Eastern Time, targeted at one of 'several aim points' on the Fordow facility, which had been constructed deep in a mountain near the Iranian city of Qom. Caine said the remaining six bombers dropped 12 more of the massive weapons against their respective targets at Fordow and the Natanz site, with the last bombs hitting home around 7:05 pm ET and the Tomahawk missiles, which had been fired just before the bombers began their run into Iranian airspace, hitting their targets shortly thereafter.

EXCLUSIVE Hero schoolboy tells how he saved girlfriend when her Muslim parents tried to strangle her in 'honor killing'
A heroic teenage boy has described how he saved his girlfriend's life as her parents allegedly tried to strangle her in an 'honor killing'. Ihsan Ali, 44, and his wife Zahraa Subhi Mohsin Ali, 40, are charged with second-degree attempted murder and attempted kidnapping after the attack on October 18. The girl, 17, who can't be named, ran away from home to Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington, after her parents tried to put her on a plane to Iraq. 'Her father had recently been threatening her with honor killing for refusing an arranged marriage with an older man in another county,' the girl told police. Shocking video showed Ihsan on the ground with his daughter in a chokehold outside the school, while classmates desperately tried to free her. Ihsan and Zahraa both pleaded not guilty and are expected to go on trial in July. The girl met her boyfriend at the school after she fled her home and school officials arranged for her to stay at a women's shelter. However, the school did not arrange transport there, so the couple went outside to catch a bus, and spotted Ihsan's pickup truck in the car park. The teenage boy explained to police in an interview on November 6 that a friend told him Ihsan had seen them and was heading their way. '[The girl] was scared, shaking, and had a tremble in her voice,' Detective Julie Mullen wrote in a report obtained by the Daily Mail. The boy stood between his girlfriend and her father as they tried to get to the bus as it arrived, and attempted to separate them when Ihsan tried to pull her away. Ihsan then allegedly punched him in the head and he remembered falling down and everything going black. '[He] said when he got up [the girl's] dad was "choking" her and [two other students] punched [Ihsan] in the face and people were yelling to call 911,' Mullen wrote. 'He started punching her dad in the face but he continued to choke [the girl] and said others were trying to pull her out while he continued to punch her dad in the head. 'He continued to punch Ishan until his "head got soft" and he got knocked out.' The boy then helped his girlfriend off the ground, but she 'couldn't breathe' and didn't know what was going on. Just as he was helping her to his feet, he alleged Zahraa and the girl's eldest sister Haneen, 21, came up behind them and pushed him out of the way to get to her. He told police he tried to 'fight them off' by putting up his arm up and pushing them away, and in the melee the girl and Zahraa were pushed to the ground. 'Once [the girl] and her mom were on the ground, her mom put her arm around her neck and started choking her,' Mullen wrote. He said that as he tried to pull the girl away from Zahraa, Haneen yelled 'what are you doing this?' at him. The boy was eventually able to pull his girlfriend to her feet and then away from Haneen when she allegedly grabbed her, and flee towards the school. The brave teenager suffered a 'boxer's fracture' to his finger as he tried to get Ishan off his girlfriend, and bruises and scratches on his head and face. He wasn't diagnosed with a concussion but had symptoms such as sensitivity to light and headaches when he tried to watch TV or play video games. His mother told police it 'took him several days to talk about the incident without crying'. The boy also told police about an earlier incident at the school with Zahraa on September 16 last year where she attacked him. He explained the incident was sparked by Zahraa seeing him and the girl kiss three times outside the school. The girl told him her 'life was ruined' after she realized that her mother had spotted them. '[The girl's] mom grabbed his arm and told him to get in her car but he continued to walk to the bus. [The boy] said he was yelling and causing a scene,' Mullen wrote. The girl earlier told police in a three-hour interview with police on October 24 that she ran away because she was terrified of being taken to Iraq where she would be married off, abused, and forced to have children - never to return home. She explained that after her boyfriend was knocked to the floor with his eyes closed, Ihsan grabbed her in a viscous attack. '[The girl] said her dad yanked her down and put her in a headlock. She said he was "choking" her "really hard" and she remembered grabbing his arm but then passed out,' police wrote. From there, her memory of Ihsan's attack ended, and she only knew what happened by watching the video of her boyfriend and classmates heroically saving her life. But the attempt on her life was not over, as Zahraa allegedly seized her and tried to finish the 'honor killing'. 'Someone pushed them to the ground, and then her mom started to choke her and was screaming in her ear,' Mullen wrote. The girl also detailed her father's alleged threats to kill her for dating an American boy, and refusing an arranged marriage. 'If I could kill you, I would kill you, but I can't do that. I can't do that because there's cops and CPS people involved right now because of you,' she claimed he said. 'And I can't touch you because you will immediately go to the school.' The girl told police Ihsan another time told her he wanted to 'hurt her so badly but there are cops here' but also told her how he would 'kill her no matter what happens' and he 'did not care if anyone saw him'. Police bodycam footage obtain by showed officers arriving at the school and arresting Ihsan, who demanded to speak to his daughter. 'Just let me tell her to come home - not like that. If I tell her to go home, she will go home,' he insisted, but police ignored him. Officers then had to deal with Zahraa and Haneen, who were hysterical and only left after Zahraa was allowed to speak to Ihsan. These are some of the cuts, welts, and broken bones the teenage girl suffered when her parents allegedly tried to strangle her in an 'honor killing' Police did not realize Zahraa also allegedly tried to kill her daughter until four days later, leaving her free to continue looking for her daughter, who was in hiding. Zahraa drove her youngest children, two boys aged five and three, into Canada and dropped them off with an Ihsan's brother and mother, who lived there. She then returned to Washington before trying to cross into Canada a second time with a 'notable quantity of baggage' on the night of October 22, but was arrested by customs officers.
