Huawei Mate XT 2 details leak
Last year, Huawei stunned the world with its Mate XT tri-fold device, and now Samsung allegedly wants to follow in its footsteps. But Huawei is already developing the second generation, and today a new rumor out of China purports to give us some of the more important details about it.
So, the Mate XT 2 will allegedly have the exact same screen as the original, with the main upgrades compared to the Mate XT being a processor with improved performance and better cameras.
Unfortunately, no more details have been shared, but the Mate XT 2 is rumored to be coming at some point in the second half of this year, so undoubtedly we'll be hearing a lot more about it in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch two 'Redmi K' flagships in China – the Redmi K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad. The company is trickling out official details for both, but we already saw WekiHome disassemble and review the smartphone. Now they have done the same with the mini tablet. The Redmi K Pad will have an 8.8' IPS LCD, which supports Dolby Vision, judging by the label on the side (and Dolby Atmos for the speakers). The screen has 3,008 x 1,880px resolution (16:10), 165Hz refresh rate and DC dimming. When tested, the display achieved a brightness of 566 nits and was able to go up to 610 nits in high brightness mode. It tips the scales at 336g and measures 6.46mm thick – this tablet is all about performance in a highly portable form factor. In testing, the chipset showed impressive performance and cooling proved better than on many tablets, even ones larger than the K Pad. Xiaomi used a large 12,050mm² vapor chamber to wick heat away from the chipset and dump it into the metal frame. Interestingly, the vapor chamber is made of an aluminum alloy instead of the traditional copper to save weight. There's some foam padding that will cushion the internals in case of a fall. The battery is split into two cells on either side and there are also speakers (with Atmos) next to each cell. The two battery cells have a combined capacity of 7,500mAh – one is 3,505mAh (13.78Wh) and the other is a bit bigger at 3,995mAh (15.71Wh). A 67W charger is included in the box, though the tablet only pulled 55W at maximum and needed 61 minutes for a 1% to 100% charge. Bypass charging is supported. Redmi K Pad's internals The USB-C port is located on the motherboard and is wired for USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds (5Gbps). It supports DisplayPort. There are two cameras on board the tablet – a 13MP module on the back (OV13B 1/3.06') and an 8MP one on the front (OV08F, 1/4'). There is no fingerprint reader on board. Samsung's next mid-range phone confirmed to arrive on June 27
Samsung is going to have a remarkably busy summer. The South Korean giant is gearing up for the launch of its two foldable flagships, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, as well as a trio of affordable Android phones. Besides that, Samsung has one more surprise for those who aren't particularly interested in its expensive phones, Galaxy M36. The sequel to the arguably very popular Galaxy M35 has been teased by Samsung for a few days now. Today, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy M36 will be officially introduced in India on June 27. The phone will be available for purchase through Amazon India and Samsung's official website. Samsung has already revealed that the Galaxy M36 comes in three colors: Velvet Black, Serene Green, and Orange Haze. We also know the phone is just 7.7mm thick, which makes it 15 percent thinner than the Galaxy M35. When it comes to camera, there don't seem to be any upgrades, as the Galaxy M36 features the same triple camera as its predecessor: 50MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro. Also, the phone features a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, just like the Galaxy will be interesting to see if Samsung managed to include a slightly bigger battery inside. There are no details about that yet, but the Galaxy M35 comes with a huge 6,000 mAh battery, which was one of the phone's main selling points. However, besides the visual aspect, the panels are pretty much the same specs-wise, and they're both protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ too. Although no details about pricing options have been revealed yet, it makes sense for the Galaxy M36 to cost around the same as its predecessor.
